Mar 8, 2007 Florida Panthers Alexei Semenov

Darren Reid collides with David Booth at center ice and knocks him down. Semenov takes exception and goes after Reid, causing a scrum to ensue along the side boards. Fedoruk grabs Semenov from behind and everything gradually calms down. Semenov turns around and they shove each other before having some words and then deciding to drop the gloves. They grab ahold of each other and wrestle around up against the glass. Semenov throws two short rights to the back of Fedoruk's helmet. Fedoruk cocks his right arm back and then throws a right to the back of Semenov. Semenov answers with a short right inside and Fedoruk then pushes Semenov to the ice with the linesmen coming in to separate them shortly after. Other Penalties: Semenov and Darren Reid each received a roughing.

I like that Semenov stuck up for his team. I wish that they had gotten away from the boards and had a good square off. Fights coming out of scrums don't work out as well as they once did.

That was a fight? HOw does anybody vote for anything other than a draw?Fedoruk hasn't had a good year with the bouts.

terrible fight here.
DRAW, only one punch by Semenov but that barely hurted a fly.

gotta get more than this in a fight from your top goon.

Semenov was scared and hanging on for dear life.

on the broadcast you can see Fedoruk in the penalty box mouth to the refs "that shouldn't be five"...and i couldn't agree more. give 'em matching minors and let them square off out of the box if they want, don't give them give for this nonsense

Lame. Fedoruk gets the win, but only because Semenov fell down. Yawn.

semenov got the only squarely landed punch

How can anyone say Fedoruk won this fight? There was only one punch even thrown, and it was by Semenov. All Fedoruk did was take him down...so overrated.

Bit of a nothing fight really, one punch thrown, sure if it was away from the boards then Fedoruk would've probably won although not counting out semenov who's not shy from a scrap.

Fedoruk, just for Semenov trying to drop to avoid the fight

semenov should use his size to play a tough game more often.
