Comments: The two drop the gloves behind the play and immediately grab ahold of each other. Thornton is able to get Davison's helmet off and then throws a quick right that hits his target. Thornton then connects with another right that sends Davison flying to the ice. Thornton lands hard on top of him and the two stand back up, only to be grabbed by the linesmen before anything else can happen.
