Laperriere throws a hit on Smith as he clears the puck out of his own zone. They drop the gloves at center as Laperriere starts with three rights. Smith does a good job of blocking as they come up short. They tie up as Laperriere throws another right that comes up short. Smith throws inside with two quick right jabs then unloads two big rights to the back of Laperriere's head that send him down to the ice. Smith lands an uppercut as both fighters are on their knees and the linesmen come in to break it up.

Smith fights like a master but have to remember who was his opponent, punchning bag Lappy.
Smith did good job blocking Lappy's early few nice shots+ he took over very well in the end.
He knocked Lappy down, no TKO-win.
KD-win to J.Smith in nice bout.
