| 3pd 02:19 | Washington Capitals | Mark Tinordi |
| During a big scrum in front of the net, Smith jumps in on Tinordi who was being separated from Tie Domi, and they both begin throwing a few rights. Smith switches to his left and throws a few bombs that look to land. Another switch and they go toe-to-toe, both landing excellent, hard rights! They grab a breath and resume the toe-to-toe slugfest landing more huge rights flush in each other's faces. Again they break and finish with one last burst of rights to end the incredible fight. Tinordi has busted up a previously broken nose in the fight. Other Penalties: Smith received an instigator and misconduct. | ||
