It was nice knowing all of you, Boyle won a fight, I can hear the Four Horsemen at full gallop.

Posted by SURESHOT27 on April 30, 2014 at 10:26 AM

it was like a child trying to play fight with his dad.

Posted by staceyb on April 30, 2014 at 04:09 AM

Tears come to my eyes as I reluctantly mark off the big wuss Boyle as the winner.

Posted by loneranger on April 30, 2014 at 01:50 PM

When Brian Boyle tunes you it's time to take up tennis. I can't think of anything in hockey more humiliating than what happened to Hall. This is inexcusable

Posted by WhyGo77 on April 29, 2014 at 10:30 PM

Only thing the Rangers won tonight...Boyle landed some good punches and Hall didn't land a thing. Boyle easily.

Posted by doobi1 on April 30, 2014 at 10:30 AM

Feeling bad for Hall. Short arms vs long gorilla arms. He was swinging away and did manage to beat the wrinkles out of Boyle's shirt sleeve. However, he now has the distinction of losing to the worst fighter in the NHL. Boyle the win. Let's go Rangers.

girl fight

Posted by the kid 61 on April 30, 2014 at 08:53 AM

The drunks in the stands were throwing harder punches at each other, and some were girls. Very weak...

Tampa Bay is going to love Boyle and how much he likes to hug people when fighting, nice to see him win one.

team needed spark...

Boyle with the win. if I had to sum it up in a word: Meow

Posted by d.dog667 on April 30, 2014 at 10:34 AM

Did I really just vote for Boyle? WOW! What a shocker!

Posted by DARCY T on October 31, 2014 at 06:50 AM

hall fought very very hard in this one and boyle can be the highest punching bag in nhl but it is not so easy to overcome his huge size advantage if u are not a top nhl fighter...win boyle

Posted by ghjkfdhgfd on April 30, 2014 at 01:51 AM

boiled goose wins a rarey

Posted by ThogSmash on April 29, 2014 at 11:38 PM

Brian pillow hands Boyle actually won a fight! Too bad he is still on par with Dale Weise for being the worse fighter in the league. Even though I give weise more credit because Boyle is just a huge pu$$y.

Posted by bartles on April 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM

Terrible mismatch here. Boyle with the W

Posted by Hilaker on April 30, 2014 at 01:28 PM

I can't and won't believe it.......Boyle actually won a fight. This makes Hall a legend, the only man, probably the only human being to lose to the Boil. I am stunned. Winner......and still a loser in my books Brian Boyle. Give this fight of the century a 4.

Posted by pasqualino31 on April 30, 2014 at 04:30 AM

Not the greatest fight, but an obvious decision goes to Boyle. As a fan I would like to see a little more nasty out of Boyle, but calling the man a wuss because he doesn't like to fight is short sighted. The day you lay out to block professional slap shots like this man is the day you earn the right to call him a wuss.

Posted by Buckster on April 30, 2014 at 12:09 PM

The leagues worst pound for pound fighter actually wins one. Lotto ticket time!!

Posted by ETR on April 30, 2014 at 08:27 AM

Hall just won the title of worst fighter in the NHL....

Posted by kimo_coyote on April 29, 2014 at 11:14 PM

I had just commented to someone, that for a big Irish kid from a large family I never had seen that I recalled Boyle fighting and when I had seen him I knew some choir boys that did a better job. Well tonight he fought...

Posted by mmadced on April 29, 2014 at 11:20 PM

boyle finally beat the crap out of somebody. hall wanted it and he got it. losers who said draw are morons.....

Posted by Great Murray on April 30, 2014 at 08:16 PM

I'm not sure why Hall would take this fight...stick jab, laugh in his face, point at the score and skate away would have been better. I suspect that Hall knew what a crappy fighter Boyle is and thought he could handle him. Not so much! That may be the first fight Boyle has ever won!

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on May 01, 2014 at 01:37 AM

Speechless, it's a proud moment in Rangers history, old Boyler won a fight, *tears of joy run from eyes*

Posted by bbout2c on April 30, 2014 at 06:04 PM

If you noticed boyle looked back to see if zucc or hags would bail him out , not seeing them come to his rescue, boyle proceeds to piss and shit himself closed his eyes and started slapping ,I mean throwing some punches ! no winner should have been delay of game penalties for both!

Posted by jcholmes on April 30, 2014 at 07:31 AM

You know that whenever Boyle gets into a fight that there will be some hysterical posts. You cats didnt let me down, the posts are far more entertaining than the fight. And for that I thank you.

Posted by nhlofficialsblo on April 30, 2014 at 03:21 PM

yawn...two posers

Posted by flyerguy on April 30, 2014 at 07:29 AM

Hall was a rag doll. It's funny, when the Flyers fight when their losing, there "Bullies", but when teams like the Rangers do it, AND ESPECIALLY THE PENGUINS, their announcers always whine... it's frustration. GET OVER THE SHIT ABOUT THE BULLIES YOU A** CLOWNS, IT WAS BACK IN THE 70'S

Posted by ironbar44 on April 30, 2014 at 09:56 AM

at least BOY LE didn't take his usual pounding .good to see him win one

Posted by Raoul Duke 708 on April 29, 2014 at 11:08 PM

Boyle won a fight!

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on May 24, 2014 at 02:09 AM

Hall wouldn't make a pimple on Boyles ass.

Posted by Oswegofightfan on April 29, 2014 at 11:23 PM

The best is I thought hall could fight till he said fuck this. Tucked tail n basically belly flopped on the ice to get away from the ass whooping. Didn't know Boyle had it in him. To bad Simmonds would rather go after Zuccarella then Dorrset. He is a disgrace to hockey. N should be suspended for being a pussy faggot bitch

Posted by CG3 on April 30, 2014 at 09:39 PM

I love everything Adam Hall brings to his team, including the willingness to go when necessary. But too often he's just outmatched, as he was in this one.

Posted by jimmat on April 29, 2014 at 10:51 PM

Hall didn't show much. Boyle with the relatively effortless win. Actually landed a couple of good ones before becoming distracted by something in the stands. Real heart and soul guy.

Posted by Biggus on April 30, 2014 at 07:59 AM

Boyle with a huge reach advantage and the win.

Posted by hipcheckCHI on April 30, 2014 at 09:22 PM

At the 0:47 mark, Boyle looks at his hand and thinks "so THIS is what it feels like if I throw a punch and it lands..." Never thought I'd type this, but all Boyle.

Posted by Douchelarousso on April 30, 2014 at 04:35 PM

Flyers with an NHL record being the first team to have anyone lose a fight to Brian "feather-fists" Boyle.

Posted by rocky 1 on May 01, 2014 at 04:47 AM

Easy win the the super sized Boyle.

Posted by higbee646 on April 29, 2014 at 11:56 PM

Boiler is not a brawler but I've never seen him this pissed off. Rightfully so. The Rangers sucked and the refs weren't helping the cause.

Posted by The Mad House on April 29, 2014 at 10:31 PM

Probably the most impressive I've ever seen Boyle Against a usually pretty tough Adam Hall A surprising W for the bigger man Game 7 tomorrow should be great

Posted by shawnrocks on April 29, 2014 at 11:24 PM

Boyle is a good old fashion tough guy. He gets the easy w

Posted by devilsadvocate on April 30, 2014 at 02:41 AM

Boyle did pretty well, actually, albeit against a bad fighter. But Boyle showed good technique and pretty good power. Too bad he didn't bring any of that when he fought Kevin (I Like to Pick on Euros) Bieksa.

Posted by bigmike53 on April 29, 2014 at 10:38 PM

Hall can't get inside of Boyle's reach in this scrap. Boyle lands the only punches and gets the win.

Posted by J.R. Abel on April 30, 2014 at 05:21 AM

I wonder if Adam Hall fought Ryan Malone if it would be possible for them to both lose.

Posted by Humper on April 30, 2014 at 02:44 PM

Boyle wins. There, I said it.

Posted by kkdowning on May 20, 2014 at 04:16 PM

This was not supposed to happen . . .

Posted by grrbronco81 on April 30, 2014 at 11:29 AM

Way to stick your head into it Adam. The only thing the Ranger Fans had to cheer about .

Posted by gogrg on April 30, 2014 at 08:46 AM

So many Boyle haters

Posted by BostonBruins64 on April 30, 2014 at 12:23 AM

An honorable donnybrook with plenty of wild punches. They landed a good bit of them, but Boyle got Hall to the ice. Nice and clean.

Posted by King of Goons on April 29, 2014 at 11:00 PM

Well, we may have finally found a guy who is a worse fighter than Brian Boyle. Boyle is still probably, pound for pound, the weakest man on planet Earth. He's got about 7 inches and 40 pounds on Hall and still wasn't able to dominate him. This was like watching a couple of girl scouts mix it up.

Posted by SFVflyers88 on April 29, 2014 at 11:18 PM

I guess Ranger fans all quit watching on the replay at 1:21 Hall lands the 1st and only punch to the face. It was obvious on the national broadcast non-homer version. But If you consider smashing your hand in to the back of a helmet a win, ya yanks better just hope Cyst and Boils hand isnt hurt. PS Distracted by something in the stands? Who the F looks in the crowd when fighting??

Posted by blbjd on April 29, 2014 at 10:36 PM

Boyle is such a loser!!! 6:7, 240 and not an ounce of toughness. Total waste of an nhl salary. draw against a non fighter.

Posted by dropem99 on April 30, 2014 at 07:58 AM

Fight? Keep the gloves on boys.
