Carkner ''misinterprets'' an ''accidental'' high stick,
(notice the double quotations),
and proceeds to bully-beat
a surprised, and severely, out-gunned, Hall.

I mean, really. TB should get Nazarov out of mothballs and suit him up.

I don't think Hall landed a punch, so I guess that is why Carkner was so pissed off, must have got a high stick or his face in the glass unless I missed something.

Carkner probably missed the boxing portion of his workout, so he got in a few second of throwing punches to a stationary object

The cut on Carkner may have come from Hall's stick or the way he hit the glass just prior to.
Not intentional but Hall pays for it regardless...

Why does Carkner insist on going after guys who fight once or twice a year? We all know he's tough, but he loses a little respect in my eyes by bullying non-tough guys who do nothing but grind for the puck along the boards....I didn't see anything that could have set him off- Hall had his stick up, but that was more about the way the contact unfolded- It wasn't anything dirty or even questionable IMO. Read GreatMurray's post- sums it up beautifully, even includes stats. Nice job.

Carkner controlled this and Hall wanted no part of him....Which IMO is sensable :)
That said He shouldnt have rubbed the Big boy as he did cause..... Rubbing is Racin???? :)
]O well I just wanted to say that......Not the most appropriate time to use the phrase but what the hell eh

What was Hall thinking, Carkner nailed him and i don't think Hall returned, even Carkner looked concerned after that one.

I guess Carkner didn't like the stick in the face very much. Hall did a pretty good job of absorbing blows to the face. Win for the fighter in the equation.

Matt Carkner is the Tim Hunter of a new generation. You could go snowboarding down that schnaz.

No contest here. All Hall could do was bury his head and hope he doesn't catch a big one.
