Decent fight and a pretty long one too...
I liked the way Konopka tied up Marroon's right just enough to limit him yet preventing his arm from getting totally lose out of the jersey.
Giving the Win to ZK for controlling the fight better.

Props to the camera crew...great ice level camera angle !

Maroon (5) shows more early, and Planet Zenon comes on late... I tend to find Konopka's tilts extremely boring, as he does more holding than throwing... Close bout here, edge Maroon.

wow, I think it's entirely possible MIN has the biggest homer fans in the league!

Maroon early
Poptarts late
in a fight
stylistically akin
to watching paint dry

The rookie Maroon lands a few on the old club fighter Planet Zenon, their second bout in two weeks. Planet Z got in a couple of short-range punches but Maroon definitely has the wing span for long-range shots. If he develops an uppercut like Gudbranson he'll be potent.

P.S. Planet Z got third star of the game for his 8 minutes of play and -1 effort. Whoever judges the three stars of the game in Minnesota should be flogged.

I agree with Southpaw, Konopka fights are tough to watch. I think i would rather watch Grandma square dance or remove her false teeth.

slow moving fight (as Konopka tends to fight "positionally"), edge to Maroon. BTW, if his time in Washington was any indication, fighting won't make an impression of Budreau

if i had to pick a winner .KONOPKA giving up size and weight controlled the fight to the slightest of an edge

I personally thought that fight was very uneventful. Boring draw.

Fun fight, because it was so long... which seems to be a rarity nowadays.
Loses some points for being a slow Konopka fight.

Anyone rating this thing anything but total domination by Maroon, isn't watching... He's the only guy who even landed more than 2 punches... in a 60 second tilt!

Count them: Konopka threw 10 punches... in 60 seconds... and landed 2.
