Bunch of idiots crying because Orr lost another fight to a smaller player LMAO, Leaf fans always crying over something
Neil fought a smart fight...Neil all the way...
Orr takes rare pounding. Good for Neil for more than answering the bell.
ofc Neil can handle Orr anytime. and you are just pure homers foooooooor TTTTTTTTTTTORRRRRR. clear win Neil here
Neil landed more shots, so much for the Orr rebirth bullshit. WIN NEIL
Neal more active wins the hug fest...
orr is a b*itch
Neil deserves respect. Just farm strong. A regular pitbull. Business as usual for Orr who loses this fight.
Hugfest. Was hoping for a lot more from both players
Toe to toe Orr would make Neil his bitch , so Neil outsmarted and outhugged Orr for the win...
Neil gets the early jump and never looks back, as he is able to to tie up Orr for the majority of the scrap. A surprising W for Neil. Can't accuse him of picking his spots now, eh?
Good job by Neil to go after a tired Orr at the end of his shift.
LOL at the idiot Sens fans who somehow think Neil can handle Orr. Neil comes after Orr at the end of his shift and holds on for dear life the entire fight, Colton went looking for a rematch several times later in the game while fresh and Neil skated away like a bitch.
Neil is a punk, got lucky Orr, was on the end of a shift.
not much of a fight but i will gibe the edge to Neil
B-O-R-I-N-G Neil gets the win based on a few more punches landed, but it was crap overall.
Crap Leaf fight as usual...Colton Orr clung to Neil- like toilet paper does to your azz after a night of cheap beer and hot wings.......
Terrible fight, but thats to be expected when its Chris Neil. Of course he jumps Orr at the end of his shift and just grabs hold. But yeah Sens fans I'm sure Orrsie is afraid of Neil LOL.
Getting Orr at the end of his shift was a perfectly legtimate tactic. Orr should have declined if he was wiped out. Even though the fight was lame, it was clearly was a successful tactic. Win Neil.
Omg Orr your slowing down big time...winner ole timer Neil.
Not sure which fight some people on here watched but Orr was tired at the beginning and if you look at their hand positions, Orr is trying to make room by pushing while Neil is clutching behind Orr's neck. Not once did Neil want any separation which is smart on his part but also vagina move for hugging. Orr hugged at the end due to fatigue. Neil wins for outsmarting Orr but loses points for too much clutching. Man up!
One is a marginal player who takes liberties when he drops the gloves and the other is a very serviceable winger whose fighting skills are getting better with age. Neil in a landslide.
Orr got caught with a couple of good punches. I don't think too many people on here actually know what it feels like to be in a fight and get hit solid in the face. It's not a video game! How do you call Chris Neil or anybody who fights for a living "a bitch"? LOL!
Neil
Hug fest with 3-4 punches from Neil. Neil wins a crappy hugging fight.
Beneath the mutual hug-fest Neil seemed to do enough to win Orr looked sleepy
A surprisingly decent showing from Neil.
Im a big leafs fan but I'll give Neil his props. He can hang in with the heavies when he wants to while taking a regular shift. Neil gets the w by throwing a couple and tying up.
That sucked
Neil with the edge which surprises me. The old boy Neil can still hold his own after 1 million NHL fights.
Odd that Orr wouldn't really fight back...he's the biggest dick, I mean bully in the NHL. Good to see Neil hand it to him.
niel is a full on bitch if there has ever been one. and as for bigdog 2007 you seem to be avoiding the point that colton had ben out on a FULL HARD SHIFT then mr i think im tough neil clambers his monkey a$$ onto the ice after a snooze and decided to fight him. i fyou would remove ur head from up your own arse you would see that fact but just like all sens an habs fans you cant see any further than the end of your own bloody nose.
Neil wins, won't type that very often.
Not a great tilt. Neil got in the first few then clinched.
Smart technical bout by Neil
Two of the guys I hate. Neil was busier, fought a smart tactical fight. Orr couldn't get going. Refs seemed to jump in a tad early.
win neil.orr looked tired...and 5
Colton Orr does thing only, and Chris Neil is an energy player. That is an energy player who just kicked Orr's sorry ass!
Leafs and sens fans are hilarious - both hate each other so much and, the true fans, can admit that they are both horrible teams - thank goodness there are so many bad teams in the states (flo, nyi, nyr, clb, and about 7 more) that allow them to win 15+ games so far - both teams are fighting, thats good for me!
Orr got caught at his own game, at the end of a shift. As Carkner said last year after the infamous Orr salute, "what's that, 3 shifts per game". Neil in a walk and more to come. Leaf fans should back McLaren since Orr is done like Domi was after McGratten dropped him like a cheap suit a few years back. Go Sens and Neiler
Orr looked tired. End of a shift? Regardless, he lost.
The 11 or so Leaf fans that voted for a Colton Orr win should lose their privilges. Clearly Neil won. And for those that suggested that all he did was hug I see him let go with his left hand twice during the bout and throw three lefts freeing up Orr's right hand. Orr lost it happens.
Neil did a good job. Orr seemed to not have his balance through much of the fight.
In a fight with 2 worthless pieces of garbage, Neil wins easily. To all the queef losers crying about Neil holding on, Shut Up! Orr didnt want to get hit in the fight either, turning away like a mommas boy!!!!!
Neil clearly the victor in this one... funny how fights go: Neil clearly beats Orr; but Neil's face is turned into a bloody crimescene by Lucic; however Orr dominated Lucic = "You Just NEVER know..."
Don't understand all the Neil hatred here he never ducks anyone and always comes to play. Neil with the win here. Orr is always a willing participant also never ducks anyone. Like both these guys and either could win on any given night. LUCIC and the rest of the bruins could learn a lesson in courage from either of these guys they fight who they should fight when it's time to give your team a lift..........can't wait for tonight's game where you will see the bruin cowards staying away from Mclaren and Orr going to be entertaining
I'm a big Colton Orr fan, but there's no way to give him the nod here. Yes, Neil did a lot of clutching but he also did most of the effective punching, which against a bomber like Orr was his surest path to a win. Neil in an upset.
good fight but too short. They both looked tired or i think the fight woulda lasted longer. win jack-O-lantern
Orr looked disinterested and lost because of it....
I would have lose money on that one.
Neil wins. And I'm glad. Not a big Orr fan, nor did I want to see the Leafs win another after that first one.
I hate the Sens and I am a huge Orr fan, but WTF happened here? Neil gets the win for being able to skate away!! There now Orr can get back to dominating starting with the Bruins Thursday!!
I wish Neil was on my team. Great all around hockey player.
Orr never got set and was caught at the end of his shift. Neil would normally have no chance...but he wins this one.
W Neil
I think these guys where at the end of there shifts so it was not as good as i would have expected!Neil with the win as Orr just never got going !
Neil gets the best of a very tired or unwilling Orr.Props to Neil he came to fight. They can go again.Orr is a warrior. THERE HAS BEEN 336 FIGHTING MAJORS IN 2013 IN NHL IN ABOUT AVG. 38-40 GAMES ONE OF THE HIGHEST NUMBERS EVER AT THE START. BUT HAS DECLINED DRAMATICLY BECAUSE OF THE VALUE OF POINTS.CLEARLY THE INSTIGATOR PENALTY IS A NEW ALL TIME HIGH THEN EVER UP BY MORE THAN 62%THAN LAST YEAR.PER RATIO OF GAMES PLAYED. LAST YEARS TOTAL FOR FIGHTING MAJORS REGULAR SEASON WAS 1089 .
When Dzuirynski got clocked, the first thing i said, was "Chris Neil has to fight someone very soon." I don't like Neil, but i respect his leadership. If he didn't do anything, it can break a team apart. Orr tries to get the upper hand but didn't from the start. Good punches landed by Neil, nothing big. Winner: Neil and i give it a 5
A few years back I loved looking here for mostly honest unbiased opinions on hockey fights. Unfortunately it is now dominated by biased "homer" comments. That is sad. Like it or not, easy win Neil. That is how you call it when one guy does all of the punching, the other guy does all of the receiving. It is simple. I don't care if it was the beginning, middle or end of the shift. I don't care if you think Orr should be able to handle Neil toe to toe. The comments section asks for your opinion on the fight and welcomes your description. Doesn't matter who you "think" should win. There is so much hommerism on the various sites like TSN it is almost a waste of time to check in. Wish this site could be different.
Orr has a tough time with the ambidextrus (can use both hands) Neil. Colton would be insulted people making excuses for him "He's tired after a long 45 second shift". WAH WAH WAH. You got to know whose on the ice. Nice "W" for the veteran Chris Neil Neil would be a good Bruin!! hahahahaha JMO
Close bout, Neil wins.
OK Scrap....Neil fought his fight (keepin it close)...Neil gets the decision.
Edge to Neil.
Chris Neil is pretty mean for a bible thumper. Solid effort on his part
I am a leafs fan, but I gotta give this to Neil
Ok fight. Edge Chris Neil.
I can't believe all the complaining towards Neil. There's nothing smart about taking a punch. Neil fought smart and won. Neil knows that Orr has a hard punch and if they would fought more openly Orr would have likely won that. He does what he's suppoused to do, this is the only way how he can win against Orr and it worked out. And I'm a fan of both of these two.
Pumpkin Head with a surprising W.
The Bud life, who came after who. Colton Orr finished his check and lost to a guy 10 or 15 pounds lighter then him , what game where you watching. I have been a orr fan for awhile. he looks AHL out of shape to me.
Neil smokes Orr. Nice showing.
Neil won this one. Thinking of Brashear, Orr doesn't handle the southpaws all that well.
Clear win Neiler. The idiots voting for Orr are blind. He may have gotten one punch in, Neil landed more, better, and faster. Good fight by Neil.
A little surprised in this one... Neil landed a few early till it evolved into a hug fest. Orr is in great shape this year and he looked tired in this one, Anybody know if he was on the ice for a long time before the fight ? The other side also is after the KO of DD earlier, Neil was not going to let his team down. Win Neil.
@Buds Wife, kind of like Scott and McLaren fight at the end of Scott's shift and McLaren coming over the boards, Scott knocking him down with punches and McLaren voted the winner.
Can't stand Neil but he took care of Orr pretty easily. Orr has lost a few scraps lately. Maybe after the Mclaren fight, he was a little scared.
I think Orr got caught off guard as Neil started quickly. Neil looked to land a few nice shots to Orrs nose. Win Neil
pound for pound Neil is the MAN!
I must give "mad props" to Neil for this one, I absolutely loathe the guy but to take on Orr takes huge ones, and then to win the fight outright is amazing.
Like watching to Bull Elk butt heads. Edge to Neil. Heavyweights will grasp and wait.
Neil wins and shows how to fight against the bigger guys. Get in close work for your openings. This is why he has defeated Chara twice (hey he ended up on top ready to punch down) He has also gotten into slug fests with the best. doesn't always win but will show up. As for all you Neil haters...there are 29 teams that would love to have him. He plays physical, will fight and plays along the line and has ever been suspended.
Orr has a history of being the guy with the big guns, looks like Neil was much quicker on the draw. Neil's approach of "hit me all you want, i'll hit you more" won him this fight.
neil wins nobody cares
Neil was hugging him so close I thought he was going to hump Orr's leg
Typical Neil trying to fight a heavy weight. Not a chance Neil takes this fight if it's at the beginning of Orr's shift!! I could just picture Neil couting the seconds in his head as to how long Orr had been out there. Not ONE of Neil's punches were damaging! Don't worry Sens fans, we may not have made the playoffs in near a decade, but when we do and we play you the results will be the same as they ALLWAYS have been!!!
neil clings like a scared child
Neil has been around for a while. He knows how to tie you up and disarm you. There's nothing exciting about any of his fights. Orr looked to be out of gas.
Orr could not get in a comfortable stance. More of a dance than anything. Give neil credit for out muscling Orr.
Clearly nothing more than a draw. How neil is voted the winner is beyond me. Colton Orr looked tired. Had Orr not been tired, Neil would certainly lose again to Orr.
Typical and cowardly fight by Neil. Go after Orr at the end of a shift and then hang on for dear life so you don't get knocked out like your teammate! 9 times out of 10, Orr would pound Neil.
Neil grabs onto Orr tighter than Neil grabs Alfredsons c0ck in the shower after the game - nice job Christine - draw.
Save the hugs for the Care Bears, bros. Draw and a 3.
Didn't see anything land. Draw.
A lot of holding and grabbing...not much action .. gotta say draw
hugfest Neil knows if he went toe to toe he would have been in the dressing room with his team mate wondering what day it is but give it to Neil he doesn't lose too many and he fought a defensive fight maybe a slight edge for Neil but i am voteing draw in this hugfest
Too much holding by Neil, but that was probably smart on his part.
Neil hugs here? I see him throwing bunches not hugging... Neil with the easy win.
For the cry babies on the site, that call Neil, Chrissy, etc. Get over it, Neil kicked Orr's ass. And he will kick your ass also...
Good to see Orr get his ass kicked, the guy has balls but not the toughest in the league no matter how much leafs fans want it to be so, in fact I do not even think he is the toughest on his team!!
What happened to Orr in this fight? I like Neil but it shouldn't have been this easy...the ending looked premature too
Neil held him real close so they could not exchange blows. Smart move because Neil would have been killed!
Giving this to Neil..
Neil picked his moment, he has been running from Orr all season and in an arranged fight, Neil would be left picking up his teeth with broken fingers, enjoy your moment Neil, you will need to face Orr another twice this year
Chrissy Neil hugs Orr to death. Typical Neil. No entertainment value at all, edge to Orr for trying.
Hugfest (mainly by Neil) Orr seemed more concerned about getting his bonnet off Expected much more When did Neil become Brashear with the holding close and noogies Fight fans await another tonight; but I bet Neil avoids Orr like the plague...
Powwow! Where are you? Getting another black belt? Beating up another 15 guys at once?
Win Orr based on points carried over from the last fight when Orr pumped Neil. No points here for Nellie hugging Orr at the end of Orr's shift.
Neill is a bytch, straight up... Orr was out there skating full speed for 45sec shift while neill was standing still the whole shift.. When Stortini was interviewed when playing for the Oilers the commentary asking him where he learned to fight.. Stortini said by watching Neill's fight videos.. Neill is in the wrong sport, he should join whestling.. Lucky Orr was tired because Neill would have joined the other dude that got knocked out.. Orr will go after Neill towards the end of the game for a rematch. Then you'll see a real arse wooping
Colton Orr's kryptonite is a tight, face to face scrap. Spring him loose and he will punch you from outer space. Keep him in tight and he gets beat. Good technique by Neil
Win Neil in the sense that he landed a few more punches but horrendous fight. He just hugs him the entire time. It's a technical win but winning a fight like this is irrelevant when you do absolutely no damage, don't win convincingly and spend the entire time grappling. Orr was also at the end of the shift and got gassed really quickly.
This fight follows along with the "Some tips on how to vote" - to the tee. Hugfest= draw.Nothing doing in this fight.
Orr has been challenging Neil for the last few games and Neil has wanted no part of it. However, at the end of Orr's shift, Neil decided to go after him. Not a bad strategy. It's the only way Neil has a chance. For those who didn't watch the game, look at the video. Neil was gassed and Orr was really gassed. Before we can conclude that Neil doesn't pick his spots, let's see him fight Orr off a face off when both are not gassed. By the way, why didn't Neil fight McLaren instead of letting some kid from the minors get hammered. As soon as McLaren was looking for a fight Neil the veteran tough guy and leader should have stepped in. So does Neil pick his spots or not? Hmmm....
Very disappointing fight by two tough guys. Way overshadowed by the mclaren fight earlier in the night
Neil answered the bell here after Mclaren's ko of his teamate. I'm a big fan of Neil, and hate Orr, but I can't give Neil a win on this one like 77% of the voters. Looked like a draw to me. But a good fight nonetheless.
...not the best of battles, but Neil gets the slight nod in this one,....
Not a great bout. Slight edge Neil - only because Orr did almost nothing.
Edge Neil in this shitty hugging match!
Chris Neil still compete's with the best of them, Neil win.
Orr didn't even look like he wanted to be there.
Sloth keeps it close range to get the W
smart fight by neil.
Neil outsmarted Orr in this one and takes a clear win.
Ugly mess here. Neil takes the nod. When is the rubber match?
The old man still has some fight in him.
Geez Orr gets the tables turned on himself. The usually "fresh" Orr gets into a fight during a dynamic shift. Neil with the win all around in this one (just like last time when Neil killed Orr by bruising Orrs knuckles so bad on his face).
Though I did not expect it, Neil with the win. Orr looked gassed or something. Good job by Neil.
Orr is one of my favorites, he's simply a machine, but Neil does exactly what he needs to... Neil gained the better grip, stayed in close and switched hands, as he never lets "Hands of Stone" Orr to get going...
Ottawa and Toronto can suck my cock
Colton 'litle girl' Orr is a douche .
wow, surprised Orr did not do one of his famous cheap shot punches when the refs has the other guys arms tied up...........win Neil by the way
ok now all you loser neil haters have proof to shut the f**k up.....
another loss for Orr no matter how many Leafs fans vote
Wish it was Fanooooof who took the beatdown
Neil hanging on for dear life, lol, was a death grip! Sorry nothing to see here, Orr gets the win for being a non sissy
