I've always found Konopka's bouts to be extremely slow paced with very few punches thrown and landed.... Here, he was clearly more active against a bigger man and edges it out.

mcb I don't know what fights you watch but you haven't called one right that I've seen. Konopka wears out Maroon's shoulder but he did get two good shots in at the beginning of the fight. Maroon never really landed anything. Win to the smaller Konopka.

Maroon out muscled Konopka plain and simple. When all you do is throw punches at someones back, I'm sure it doesn't do any damage.

Maroon got one or two good shots in, almost want to call this one a draw.

The young kid stood up nicely to the old pro. Maroon will bloody some noses in the NHL. DRAW.
