Volpatti may have bitten off more than he could chew
but gains respect by hanging in there against a bigger
and arguably meaner opponent

When Reaves throws like that
he's fairly unstoppable

I look forward to the inevitable Reaves-Bordeleau showdown

Nuckles88 must be a Canucks fan too, but this Canuck fans sees a win by Reaves, not sure how Volpatti could have won that. Regardless of the differing opinions, it was a good fight.

Reaves got the better of V-pat in that one, thank you for the words Panger.

Man...this Reaves can really fight. I'd put him in the same category as Thornton of the Bruins or the Leaf's Orr (that's saying a lot ).
Props to Volpatti for hangin` in there...

Even as a Cansuck hater, I can still be impartial... Volpatti clearly has some skills, hung in there, and fared better than most would have thought... I think Reaves gets the nod here, but as Viperbob noted, it's about time he woke up, he hasn't been impressive as of late. Are the Cansucks trying to reinvent themselves this year?? They are dropping them more, and faring somewhat better, but still more of a finess team and don't have a dominant enforcer... I think that's the nicest post I've ever had about them... Anyone seen CustomBrokeBack????

Volpatti has some skills but not enough to do anything to Reaves. Reaves with the win.

I love how Patti jumped in then bailed out. Too bad the Bruins and canucks won't be matching up in the regular season. Maybe patti would learn how to really fight

Reaves just absolutely hammered Volpatti. Nice fight.

Entertaining tilt. Reaver with the dub. Nucks may lose fights but atleast they are dropping em often. Give them credit for that.

Nasty Reaves, thought Volpatti looked good in the beginning, had some jump in his step, just to get it beat out of him.

Love Volpatti's heart agians the much bigger guy. Volpatti is eventually going to have to use some defense in his fights against these bigger guys but he's got a good chin and heavy hands, so I guess he's willing to take his chances.

Hey 777Big, are you even able to wipe your own ass because you must not have 4 brain cells to bang together?

Kelly Chase, color commentator for St. Louis radio, "I don't miss that part of playing.." that was some heavy **** by Reaves.. Credit to Volpatti for hanging in there.
