I don't think I've seen Volpatti win a fight yet. God bless him he keeps trying but at this point he looks like he inherited Todd Fedoruk's glass jaw. Win Peluso

Peluso with the big win.

Volpatti
admirably tries
and ultimately fails
to impress his new team

as Peluso starts to look more and more
like the second coming of Engelland

Peluso tunes in an ex Canuck, not sure why Washington wanted Volpatti.

Volpatti was WAY out of his league fighting a bruiser like Peluso. All this was was Volpatti trying to make an impression in front of his new teammates and new coach. It didn't go well for him.

All Peluso, but good for Volpatti for stepping up -- he should have picked Thorburn or Stuart. Other than Erskine, Volpatti is the only Cap that can fight -- but he is not a heavyweight like Peluso. In a way Peluso lost the war, because he apparently got hurt (probably his hand on the helmet) in this

I like the look on Peluso's face as they engaged...
He had a look of calmness and confidence on his face,
Had an excellent grip on Volpatti and knew Aaron couldn't and wasn't going anywhere soon. (Krys Barch should take note)

Peluso is starting to look like the real thing.

I also like the way Peluso stopped punching when he sensed Volpatti was in trouble. (Zac Rinaldo should take note)

So far so good for Peluso. He beat a nut job with a cement head in Barch (which is what you want from a guy like Barch- long live Barch). Volpatti is willing but not overly legit. Time to test the deeper waters.

Peluso looks heavy handed and throws with reckless abandon... He took a dump on ThePatti...

I love that Peluso is up in the big leagues, kid is a great fighter. He pounds Volpatti here. He will be a good one, and has some good competition to fight against in the East.

Both guys threw some bombs, but Peluso hammered Volpatti at the end.

Good to see patti showing up for his new team. Rare loss for a scrappy middleweight that's always willing to take on bigger guys. Gonna miss him in Vancouver!
