I liked, and respected the ''self-inflicted'' helmet toss, intro...
and for a lanky, 19 year old, in his first season, second fight...
there's absolutely no shame in batting an average,
but experienced fighter like Malone... to slightly less than a draw.

Malone, that's the best you can do against a 19 year-old? Tampa Bay coughs up five power play goals and gets smacked on the scoreboard where it really matters.

nothing fight, I was hoping to see if Gubranson is for real or not.

really not much of anything -- 3 and a draw

I strongly feel that offering to take your helmet off mid fight as a 'good gesture' is total rubbish.
Do it mutually before, or not at all.
If anything, you're giving your opponent that split second to re-group and take away any psychological advantage or momentum you have.
Edge to Malone for throwing more.
Rookie mistake...

A sloppy affair with Gudbranson looking uninterested and Malone looking qquite angry. Give it to Malone for effort.

Malone pops the kid a couple of times, and Gudbranson get's in a good one at the end, Malone takes this one, but i like this kid Gudbranson, seems very willing for a 19 year old.

Gudbranson obviously didnt want to take off his helmet.

Once the bucket was removed, he did a pretty solid Konopka impression.

Pretty clear nothing draw. How can you pick a winner from that?

Nothing landed by either man

Gudbranson seemed unable to match Malone for strength and considering he is a few inches bigger and a few pounds heavier than Downie I guess its not a surprise that he didn't fare as well

Malone actually wanted to fight.
