Hatcher wins on size alone.

Hatcher landed some good punches. Malone was out manned.

Malone started out ok but Hatcher finished strong. I thought Malone was getting better but apparently not. You don't lose to a normally cowardly bum like Hatcher. Malone is roughly 15-20 pounds lighter. Laraque called Hatcher out in an interview but of course Hatcher hasn't responded. Figures he'd back down from a real fighter. P*SSY!

Hatcher smoked malone... hey aces GO **** YOURSELF malones jersey was over his face he would have had his clock cleaned if hatcher kept throwing...cheap shot my ass - he could have KO'd Malone.

Nice fight here without doubt.
Hatcher was stronger of the two but kudos to Malone who isn't a big loser in his fights like he was a couple year ago.
Edge Hatcher,

You guys crack me up. The announcer sqys Hatcher stopped punchng when he had Malone's sweater up over his head, but he clearly is punchng him at that point. Which is fine, that's part of fighting, but it's ridiculous to hear some of the silliness people run through to defend their guy. Then there is this thing about Malone's size. Hatcher is 6'5" and when you see them together it's obvious he's bigger than Malone, but again, that isn't the end of the world. But you guys cannot even agree on Malone's weight. The opinions here list him as 6'4 228, 225, 224, 220, and 215. Thirteen pounds just in the postings for this fight. You can't get his weight right; how can you be expected to judge a fight correctly. I'll say Hatcher won, but it wasn't the huge beating some of you made it out to be. And please, some of you also decided to change the facts about the hit Upshall put on that started this fight. Once again a guy leaves his feet to check an opponent. Which team do you suppose he plays for?
Oh, bu the way, why do some of the Penguin idiots keep mentioning Ben Eager? Last I checked he was Blackhawk property. If you wanna dis somebody, dis someone who at least is on the roster now. Unless you'd rather talk about the time Jeff Chychrun beat on Troy Loney or something .

Win for Hatch. Too bad it was the last fight of the season. Playoff hockey is great but is ten times better when the league and coaches let the players really battle and with that comes fights.

win hatcher. phila finally eeeked out their elusive win despite their collars getting tighter and tighter in the third. and with only seconds remaining in the game, and up by 2, game in hand, Upshall takes a run charging the Pitt player, then Mikey Richards slashes away at Crosby shin at the drop of the puck on the faceoff. truly classless. well enjoy it flyboys, cause you just motiviated Pitt even more to end this series the next game, in the event they needed it. i can only hope that when game 5 score starts to get out of hand that Pitt piles it on and piles it on big so the Cryers have something to think about on the golf course next week. And who knows maybe Pitt will even choose to repay in kind the classless garbage.

those saying hatcher should take on GL, it aint never gonna happen. when is the last time toughguy hatcher fought a heavyweight? put on your long term thinking caps for that one fellas. UPDATE: When challenged by GL in game 5 , Hatcher says no thank sir i need to get back to my bench reeeeeeeeeeeeal quick.

and finally, will hartnell, downie, richards and carter will all be wearing visors on the golf course next week just in case a fight breaks out there?

Edge Hatcher. Nice to see him step in for Upshall.

I don't know why people keep saying good on Hatcher for letting up when the jersey was pulled over his head...

Hatcher kept throwing them when he first got the jersey up, and was trying to keep throwing them but Malone got him off balance into the glass, if the lines didn't step in Hatcher would be hammering away still...

Come on...he's a flyer...he has no class.

Malone took on someone too big for him, but he did okay. Good sportsmanship on Hatcher's part for not killing Malone when his jersey was over his head.
