' Move along boys. Nothing to see here. '

Posted by Big_Goon on October 11, 2011 at 05:32 PM

Nothing really landed, draw.

Posted by DARCY T on October 08, 2011 at 06:48 PM

booooooring draw...gave it 3

Posted by scorp1on on October 08, 2011 at 07:07 AM

A grip 'em and whip 'em affair with not much landing and even less landing with any force. Prust definately looked like the more confident of the two but still. Nothing happened here. 3 and a draw.

Even tilt. The fans almost got more air time than did the fight. Who was the moron camera director that night?!? And why was there even a camera on a fan during a fight?!?

"DANCING QUEENS"; was ABBA singing in the background?

Posted by KingsFan4Life on October 09, 2011 at 10:23 PM

Cliffy is much better than this. Prust is tough, but Cliffy is definitely bigger and more experienced. The fact that Prust seemed to control the fight a bit more, but neither did any damage, hence a draw.

Posted by caps74 on March 23, 2012 at 08:48 PM

draw they needed a lil more hitting

Posted by skater1 on October 08, 2011 at 08:12 AM

Shake off the rust or shake off the Prust? A draw either way.

Posted by mike2005rulz on October 07, 2011 at 09:09 PM

Lots of punchs thrown in this long fight, problem was very little was landing.

Posted by bruiser11 on October 09, 2011 at 01:46 AM

Swings and a misses!

Posted by arctic_chill on October 08, 2011 at 08:43 AM

Both guys throwing hard and some of these punches were only inches away from changing the outcome in this one .... draw with both guys missing the opportunity of taking the odd body shot .

Great to be back everyone...looking forward to reading all your posts and us raising the bar this season ! Gave this one a 4 and a Draw. Prust looked like an old pro, composed and waiting for an opening, I hope Clifford will continue to improve and learn from the second half of last season, where he took more than he gave.

Posted by LAdam on October 08, 2011 at 02:51 AM

Well it was just a dance off, although I wish the Colonel would have just landed at least ONE good shot. Draw in my books.

Posted by LA KING FANATIC on October 10, 2011 at 11:09 AM

A for effort but this was a swing your partner round and round kind of affair. Fun but no real damage done... I agree that I hope Clifford learns to defend himself, no lack of courage but I would hate to see him severely injured by leaving himself open. He hits like a ton of bricks but you catch a few too many and you are in a home with a drool cup.

I thought it was even. But the director thought we would rather watch some happy Rangers fans in Stockholm. Too bad Prust can't score. The Rangers offense needs help.

Posted by rocky 1 on October 08, 2011 at 06:47 PM

What was that?No one seems willing to take one to give one.Nothing landed so a draw!

Posted by Trognitz on October 08, 2011 at 06:12 AM

horrible camera work. hard to keep dinner down after that view of the skank.

Posted by gongermuskegon on October 07, 2011 at 08:03 PM

Big red dog back to his ring around the rosie tendencies...great to see the boys giving the euros a taste of how is really played. Draw and a dizzying 5

Hey everybody! Hope that you all had a great summer. Even you, DarcyT Welcome back tor another season of the greatest Hockey Fights site in the world. Clifford, and Prust kick off the festivities with a decent, if uneventful, lengthy, scrap, featuring two top-drawer, evenly matched, middleweights trying, to get an early start on ''shaking off the rust''.

gave this fight a draw.

Posted by 25Pens45 on October 08, 2011 at 10:05 PM

Not a bad scrap. Ranked it a bit higher because even though most of the punches missed, they were all haymakers.

I don't know why people are saying this is a bad fight. Solid fight. Draw. 7/10

spin spin spin couple nice shots from prust!

Posted by ironbar44 on October 08, 2011 at 08:35 AM

typical PRUST fight. he never wins big never loses big .he has lots of guts to take on the the bigger guys.CLIFFORD only because he controlled the the fight a tiny bit with his reach.

Posted by idgafg on October 07, 2011 at 10:21 PM

Good tune up for Cliffy! Let's go Kings!

Posted by fighting kings on October 07, 2011 at 10:01 PM

no complaints, good going guys, now get the rust out =)

Posted by DanielleinDC on October 07, 2011 at 07:26 PM

What a crap fight--and obviously so, if the network cut away from the fight to show spectators cheering.

Welcome back NHL season. 1st fight of the season is a draw to me. Can't wait for many more fights to come.

Like both these guys, would take either on the Caps. Clifford shows some maturity and fought a smart draw.

Posted by CloweStaubi on October 07, 2011 at 08:54 PM

boring fight, draw

Posted by chad420 on October 09, 2011 at 10:31 AM

MerryGoRound draw

Posted by muskokadangler on October 08, 2011 at 04:41 PM

Long fight no damage done and a draw ....Prusty might have landed an uppercut but hard to say ....Even tho I'm Biased....Remamber ;)

Posted by bruins2261 on October 08, 2011 at 12:12 AM

definiton of a draw

Posted by NYRfan1724 on October 15, 2011 at 05:52 PM

I give it a draw, but prusty definitely had the edge

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on March 06, 2015 at 06:01 PM

Clifford is a douche bag. He holds Prust away instead of fighting. i give it to Prust for at least putting in an effort to fight. Clifford can go back with the small dogs and sit on the porch.

Posted by TrueBlue26 on October 07, 2011 at 08:03 PM

cute bout...looks like prust got a big upper cut in there but id give it a draw

Posted by Rags4Life on October 08, 2011 at 06:30 PM

Welcome back boys! If Prust and Cliff landed a few more shots on each other this would have been a tremendous bout. Both locked one another out, and rightfully so. Solid Draw boys. Kiss Summer Gooooodbye.

Posted by steveo1313 on October 16, 2011 at 04:08 AM

Prust didn't land a single shot, but Clifford got him twice early..basically a draw or slight edge to Clifford.
