What you might expect
when one fighter is half a foot taller,
and 50 pounds heavier than his opponent.

SlshBleed, and Tville23 sum it up perfectly.

Tough as he is Staubitz got his bell rung with those rights from Scott.

Staubitz will think twice about chasing down an icing next time (provided John Scott is on the ice . . .)

I love it....!
That's what enforcers are paid to do,
Setting the limits / boundaries and making the ones who cross the line pay for it.
In a beating like this, surprised Staubitz didn't try something different mid way, even go huggy bear for a while to re-group.
Easier said than done....

Scott can flat-out throw. And these announcers- I don't care if Staubitz missed Campbell. It was an icing, and Staubitz was NOT going for the puck. He deserved a whuppin'. And I don't care if Scott hit him while he was down. Tough s**t. If you try to run a skill guy on an obvious icing, then all bets are off and you get what's coming to you.

Hawks are short on d-men. Campbell is a guy that has been hurt a few times, and a key guy for the Hawks. Campbell got in a slash that went unnoticed. Ryan Johnson was right there as well but saw Scott coming. Some of the code gets deleted when it's a guy like Campbell nearly getting run. Also, a classic example of why the instigator rule is crap.

Coach Q makes a nice move by having Scott out there when the Hawks go up by 3. He knew somebody like Staubitz was going to try to stir things up.

Like I needed to see the video to call this one. T'would be like Ben Eager taking on Boogaard.

Nice enforcing job done here by Scott, something we don't see enough of.

Win Big John.

There's one guy I wouldn't want to see coming at me with the gloves off...

That said, a little cheap for JScott to keep clubbing Staubitz after he was down. It's not as if he hadn't landed anything yet...

Also, Staubitz, next time you get cheap on an icing, you might as well hit the guy...

No chance in hell for Staubitz.

Staubitz got beat like a redheaded foster child.

Brutal attack but I guess that's what you get for making a late charge at a d-man on an icing...more of a warning beating than a fight.
