The grin, and the pity tap at the end...

said it all.

Bissonette pops Barch at will,

on his way one sided beating.

Kind of a tradition for Texas hockey is to have a fight for the fans during the Christmas holiday, perhaps the only game they'll see in person that year. Barch and Biz obliged them but only Biz showed up for this one.

If the fighters in MMA can hug each other after 3 five minute rounds of beating the hell out of each other and boxers can hug and tell each other in interviews how great his opponent was after 10 3 minute rounds, whats wrong with Bissonette checking to see if Barch is OK. They both understand there jobs, don't really want to see anyone get hurt real bad, and shows some class. Dangerous job when heads start hitting the ice.

Predictable winner even before the fight started but props to Barch for hanging in there.
Barch does a decent job staying in close and blocking most of the punches but Bissonnette is just too skilled.
Great show of respect and class by Paul...the way it should be in these situations...

Was Bisser trying to hold his head up as they fell? It kind of looked like it. Can you think that fast on your skates in the middle of a fight?

Barcjh was doing nice job but got beated CLEARLY because Bizz landed mre and controlled the things.
Also he did more the damage with his several shos.
Good battle in my eyes.

I expected Bissonnette to dominate Barch but I saw this as an even exchange. Draw

Thought they were going to walk around the ice holding hands for a minute but then a great fight, nice to see some class, what's with cranking the music in teh arena though? that was annoying.

Are they really playing U2 during a hockey fight? So lame...

Win Biz

@HerbRaglan...There is absolutely nothing phony about these fights. Keep in mind that a fight doesn't have to be about "anger" for it to be real. Many of these guys are simply doing their jobs and don't even have anything to do with the real reason they're fighting. Heck, there's not a whole lot of these guys (granted, there are some) that have a genuine problem with each other. It's business. Bisonnette was just letting Barch know he's glad his head didn't crack open on the ice like an egg.
