The Break Down
The basis of this fight is simple, it's Alexander Edler's "hit" of Blake Coleman. Coleman comes in low and Edler gets his forearm out. No angle of the video shows much contact, but Coleman's head whips back and it looks bad. The teams convene baseball style and out of the dog pile comes Brandon Sutter tugging on the arm of Mirco Mueller. The fight follows.
As the fight begins Mueller throws a two smaller punches both missing the mark before Sutter responds with his own offensive attempt that is well blocked by Mueller's control of the jersey. Sutter tucks down towards Mueller's left pant leg and Mueller folds over top of him as they both fall to the ice. The Linesmen pile on.
Brandon Sutter Notes -

I miss the days when guys could actually fight. Draw.
Draw. If you blinked, you missed it.
Seen better fights at our church social. Draw. Why bother?
Edler has made alot of dirty plays for along time.. Draw
Edler throws a questionable hit, proceeds to see a bull rush of other players and turn his back to the people coming. Sutter defends Edler's honor by taking on Mueller Nothing happens.
A big fat Meh...
Nothing to see here. Clear draw.
Sutter ended up in a fight and took a dive. Edler with the hip high elbow ..... huh? Number 20 deserved that skating like an idiot. Polish, you are a moron.
Alex Edler typical I see his game hasn't changed he's another soft vancouver player who slew foots then skates away. I'll laugh when someone eventually gives him a dose of his own medicine. Im not a NJ fan but I rank Edler up there with the dirty player top 5 ..He's a pussy who wont ever take a fight
Ok, so, just about every fight I've seen so far this season the zebras jump in before anything can get going. If the NHL wants to ban fighting why don't they go ahead and say so instead of having these clowns jump in like idiots. Like the linesmen who grabbed and pulled down Evander Kane earlier in the season. Kane should never have been suspended because of that a**hole linesmen. The NHL is ruining the game. Let the players police themselves. For those who don't like fighting in hockey, watch soccer !
Coleman got what he wanted draw crap
Something over nothing. No ill-intent by Edler. Coleman somewhat lowered his head which caused Edler to hit him in the face.
Edler has a history of cheap shot///too bad no one got to him. No fight.
