Carkner ended up with a HUGE mouse over his left eye, and a nasty gash, so Boog-boy connected with right. +1 Boogy. Boogard ended up with a broken nose, and Carkner clearly connected with that big right. +1 Carkner. Carkner executes a hug-and-roll, cowers in tight, and then kung fu's Boogy down like a puss. -1 Carkner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Boog-man 1 Carkey 0 Win Boogs

Posted by Clark75 on December 10, 2010 at 12:41 AM

Not sure why Carkner gets the win here. They both threw 1 punch then Carkner wrestles Boogaard to the ice. Draw.

Posted by cambec on December 10, 2010 at 09:54 AM

idiots giving it to Carkner for the take-down. THIS IS NOT WRESTLING! Why chase a guy down to show that your only offense is a wrestling move to the ice. Draw!!!!! And, dishonorable mention for Carkner for a BS fight.

Lottery punch for Carkner. But hey Matt, you'll never get any respect in this league acting like that after a fight. You're an idiot !

enough with this take down BS. i wouldnt want o be carkner next time they meet. Boogyman is unmotivated most of the time, hopefully that wakes him up

Posted by slavv on December 10, 2010 at 11:30 AM

Carkner landed the best punch but went for the hold and takedown. I understand he is fighting a giant, but he went looking for it. Draw...

Posted by Plateworker on December 11, 2010 at 01:35 PM

Yeah I cant real score this a win for Carkner. They both connected with heavy rights, boogie was stunned no doubt and Carkner was cut. I noticed Crakner wanted absolutely nothing to do With Boogard after that exchange, going for the takedown as soon as they got to the boards. Good Draw because if it went any longer I think Crakner would have been in serious trouble.

Posted by AutoMan91 on December 10, 2010 at 04:52 PM

Boogaard is my favorite fighter right now, and an amazing one at that. But I have to hand it to Carkner - not an easy win, but he pulled it off. Bravo.

Posted by Bad Dawg on December 10, 2010 at 08:18 AM

one punch a piece, you don't get a win for a take down. Carkner got a lucky punch in, good thing he stung Boogaard or he would be dead. What's with the BS after!? I guess Carkner is usually on the receiving end (IE getting the s$%T knocked out of him by Orr) either that or he has been listening to hs bitch Neil!!

Posted by Don Gorgon on December 10, 2010 at 11:07 AM

I would have given the edge to Carkner if this fight went a little longer. Unfortunately he went into turtle mode after landing on Boogaard's nose.

Posted by FotiuNystrom on December 10, 2010 at 07:43 AM

3 punches for Boogaard 1 cut Crkner.....2 punches for Cerkner...1 a bomb...takedown as always, meaningless...Draw

Posted by bilbobaggins on December 10, 2010 at 06:42 AM

Carkner was aggressor and rushed Boo. He got one lucky glancing punch which caught his nose and then some softy punches. Tried to pull helmet off then got scared and dumped Boo on the ground. Wimpy fight ending in a draw.

Posted by Goldthorp on December 10, 2010 at 08:52 AM

Take downs mean your afraid to fight. Carkner landed one punch then took boogie down with a judo move. What a puss. Hockey isn't Judo. Take downs should count against a hockey fighter. Not looked at as a "good move". Unless one is looking to get out of the fight and into the much safer penalty box. Boogie also lands one punch. Looked like a DRAW to me. The way the Carkner fans are talking you would think this was a one sided bout. What ever.

R.I.P. Boogie man

Posted by lb1631 on December 10, 2010 at 04:38 PM

They both landed a couple of shots. Carkner holds on for dear life. DRAW.

Posted by Jellyczar on December 11, 2010 at 06:34 PM

Boogard great intimidating player, awesome check still think Carkner was okay but Boogard kept it close ......

Posted by nyrhky21 on December 10, 2010 at 05:08 AM

Win for Carkner for landing that bomb on boogie's schnoz and taking him down. That said, I'm not sure what he was thinking talking that smackdaddy after? There's still two more games between the rangers and sens this season, aka two more games where the Boogeyman is gunna be patrolling the ice looking to put his fist through Carkner's jaw

Posted by ThogSmash on December 10, 2010 at 01:03 AM

Holy Crap! Honestly you'd think a site called hockeyfights would have a little bit more of intelligent viewers. This place is filled with homers or people that need lasik. Your decisive wins are usually always draws. And to the guy saying people are worshiping Boogaard, your a moron. Carkner got ONE good shot in, the same exact time Boogaard got a good shot in, so what if it hurt Boogaard, Carkner immediately hugged him and made sure he couldn't throw anymore. Watch the video again, this time with your glasses on. Point is Boogaard is not unbeatable, but it's pretty lame when people step up to him and then just try throw a few punches and then hang on for dear life. Like someone else said, if your gonna do that, don't fight at all. Watch all of his videos this season and say that isn't true for all his fights, with the exception of Big Mac from the Oilers maybe! Thank god this voting doesn't count for shite

Posted by dapwas20 on December 29, 2010 at 02:41 PM

If ever a next round was in order, this is it. Now that they have a feel for each other's tactics and are about equal in strength, we hopefully will see who is the smarter fighter next time out. Carkner had the stronger hit, but Boog had a couple more of the lesser variety. Why did Carkner pull Boog down if Cark was not hurt? I think if Carkner would have kept Boog up and allowed the fight to continue he may have been able to post a clear victory, but his survival mode contrived before the fight betrayed him but then only they know what they are thinking so we must wait for the next round. Not enough punches to give more than a draw as the take down off-set any edge.

Posted by shootbarry on December 10, 2010 at 07:44 PM

Both fighters it turns out were cut.

Posted by WildFan23 on February 17, 2011 at 04:21 PM

Carkner its a hockey fight not a wrestling match!!

Posted by bigjohnsn on December 10, 2010 at 05:39 AM

I really can't stand how anytime somebody doesn't get killed going up against one of the top 5 fighters in the league, people treat it as f they won. Kinda like the foolish "You have to clearly beat the champ to take his belt" fallacy in boxing. Both guys landed big rights at the same exact time. Both guys cut each other with that punch. One of those guys wanted nothing to do with fighting as soon as that happened. For the people saying Boogaard was hurt by it (and he definitely was startled for a second) , it was Carkner who immediately held on for dear life, and shot the takedown. Now honestly, if this fight was 2 random guys from AHL, how would you score it? Just because Carkner was supposed to get lit up and didn't, does not mean he won the fight. Nobody should be penalized because they are the better fighter going into the fight. Mike Tyson, in his prime, was not forced to start every round behind 10-9 on the judges scorecard because he was so much better then his opponents. And to be honest, even if Matt did win, he immediately undid whatever positives he would have gained from it, with his "Holy shit I actually hit him, I better take him down and get the hell outta here right away!!" desperation take down. Especially, when he was stupid enough to give an interview beforehand stating his game plan was to just throw a punch and take him down and ground and pound or choke him, lol. What's the point? You actually harm your rep around the league, AND to your own team, with that mentality.

Posted by rocky 1 on December 10, 2010 at 12:30 PM

After watching this a number of times i would give this a draw! Both players landed one each and both players cut. Then a hugfest and a tackle by Carkner!Icannot see how anyone except a Homer could vote for either in this tilt!

Ha, 4 million dollar per year boogs get beat by one punch. It's obvious it did damage if he went to the locker room. It's like every time Derek get's popped in the mush by someone with strength these days he get's hurt in some way, he doesn't have the chin or steel much like many guys, he used to though, just glad he isn't on the Wild anymore, he does nothing to help the team win, but can fight like a madman. Too bad his fights are now more defensive versus TKO style like they used to be in his early days in MN. Oh well....

Posted by upyours on December 11, 2010 at 11:51 PM

Carkner lands the solid right on the Boogster. I don't come on here too often, but I do notice the same usernames for every bout when I do. Some of you that feel the need to post for every fight really need to get a life.

Posted by Big_Goon on December 10, 2010 at 04:03 PM

Carkner landed a bomb and then bailed out by wrestling Boogard down. Didn't like the judo flip, but win Carkner.

Posted by LA KING FANATIC on December 10, 2010 at 07:37 PM

Broke Boog's nose right off the bat, fight over...Matt won that one but remember that anybody can one shot a guy, let's see the rematch later on this season, good idea to stay in tght with this monster..

Carkner's a POS, but he made Boogaard do a Marcia Brady imitation, "Oh my nose!!"

Posted by bruiseyoureye on December 10, 2010 at 12:32 AM

watched it 3 more times and carkner did land a really hard right punch to daze boogaard vs boogaard landing one punch.......but carkners punch did way more carkner.

Posted by Caps44 on December 11, 2010 at 02:01 AM

real fight, but why did Carkner get a misconduct, really? Kinda close, but win by Carkner

Posted by lovejoy on December 10, 2010 at 02:51 AM

Posted by Behn Wilson on December 10, 2010 at 11:27 PM

Great hit by Boogaard, followed by a quick bout, ironically in front of a ''Bulk'' sign, in which Carkner employs the patented... ...''quit while you're ahead (alive)''... strategy. To Carkner's credit, Boogaard still seemed a little stunned by that big shot, even as he headed off of the ice. ''On the rare occasion'' that Boogaard gets wobbled, he usually looks alot like a falling Klitchko brother... ''on the rare occasion'' that one of them goes timber. Flicking blood !!!??? WTF???

Posted by DARCY T on December 17, 2010 at 07:06 AM

wow,that right stunned boogaard...edge carkner...5

Posted by Cid on December 09, 2010 at 10:49 PM

Carkner with the standing KO punch!!! How anyone can score this for Boogieman is beyond me!?!? Carkner rocked him with a right hand on THE BUTTON that staggered Booggaard and then followed it up with a nice takedown. Impressive win for Matt Carkner.

Posted by alyboy on December 10, 2010 at 09:33 AM

Ranger announcers are such Homies....Jerkoff says it was a good solid hit by Boogard, meanwhile the defenseman did not have the puck nor did he see Boogard coming...Carkner did the right thing going after Boogie and rocked him with that punch..boogie was hurt and could not regain any advantage...I hate the ranger announcers....

Posted by bigdude on December 10, 2010 at 11:49 AM

Takedowns don't win fights?!?!?!? Give me a break. In a hockey fight a takedown /throwdown like Carkner threw on the big guy hurt just as much or more than a solid punch to the noggin. There isn't any give on the ice when you hit the ice. Solid win for Carkner!

Posted by Formerref on December 10, 2010 at 04:11 PM

One punch or 500 punches, it does not matter, Carkner beat Boogie.

Posted by LicoriceBiscuit on December 10, 2010 at 12:20 AM

Maybe the people voting for Boogaard didn't even watch the video.

Posted by tyrone on December 09, 2010 at 11:07 PM

Booger is a horrible fighter. Turn him and he is done. Slight edge to Carkner, but nonetheless, a win.

Posted by KO22 on December 21, 2010 at 10:57 AM

Anybody still want to argue who won this fight, now that Boogaard is out indefinitely with Post Concussion Syndrome? Carkner wins the battle and the war. Looks good on Boogaard, one shot to the bugle and out indefinitely. Now if somebody would just do the same to Avery.

Posted by blbjd on December 09, 2010 at 11:35 PM

Carkner with the obvious win.

Posted by Joey_Kocur_26 on December 10, 2010 at 08:50 AM

Win Carkner due to that he seems to have broken Boogeys nose and the take down. But cheap fighting from Matts side, the tripping take down and after it seems like he still is tounting Boogey when hes on top of him. Have some respect for the code you rat! Not to be mention the blood flickering..... Im looking forward to the next time these Big boys meet. Will be interesting to see Boogeymans response.

Posted by evolutionrules on December 11, 2010 at 12:51 AM

boogie man got kinda angry i think and didn't fight as well as usual. the big right hurt the big man. haven't seen him lose many fights but he lost this one

Posted by capsfloors on December 10, 2010 at 03:46 AM

Just goes to show that no one in the NHL is unbeatable. Carkner landed a hell of a blow on Boogie.... he may have broken his nose but it didn't even buckle his legs.... think that if the fight went longer, Carkner may have been in trouble but we'll never know..... Some of the commenting on here is unbeleivable. People don't look at anything objectively...

Posted by Juha82 on December 10, 2010 at 04:58 AM

Carekner landed 3-4 shots, Boogeyman landed one but not good hit really. Carkners all punches were good ones, one very good right-hand which stunned Boogaard. CLEAR WIN Carkner. I likes a lot of Boogaard but he got beated here.

Posted by brazos on December 10, 2010 at 10:09 AM

This was a close fight, both got opened up, Carkner with a cut and Boogie with a broken nose. Very slight edge to Carkner. If nothing else I think he felt he won the fight. This shows that Boogie can be hit and hurt, after getting bloodied by King last year, Boogie has not been as dominant as he once was. Brashear was once top dog and after getting clocked a couple of times he faded away. It happens to all of them.

Posted by guas99 on December 16, 2010 at 06:55 PM

If there is a rematch Carkner's career is over. Square up toe to toe next time Avery, I mean Carkner.

Posted by tattooedkingpin on December 10, 2010 at 09:40 AM

Carkner rocked the Boogie man with that bomb. Boogard just couldnt come back. Prolly couldnt see out those watery eyes. W Carkner.

Posted by gdameo on December 10, 2010 at 10:35 AM

Carkner wins this one but I think it's really funny how when Carkner realized he landed ONE good punch and then he immediately take him down because he knew if he continue fight, he'll get killed.

Posted by CairnsNYI33 on December 09, 2010 at 11:54 PM

Oh man. Carkner with the full body weight shifting sledgehammer of a right staggers and stuns the boogeyman. then Carkner just flips him on his back for an overall TKO.

Posted by Willy WILL on December 11, 2010 at 09:18 AM

Derek Boogeyman had his nose broken by Carkner in this fight.. He runs off the ice right away... Carkner with a close win... Not the ceap puss puss everyone says he is.. He just beat the toughest guy in the league! Not bad for a puss puss.

Posted by fernben8 on December 09, 2010 at 10:56 PM

Quick fight... Looked like Carckner connected right on the chicklets of Boogie ! I think that was more trash talking at the end than sending their warmest regards... One bomb and a take-down for Carkner gives him the edge.

Win Carkner with the big punch to the nose.

Posted by Crusher Cleal on December 10, 2010 at 08:12 AM

Hi all, I enjoy the site but don't often post. I've got to say I've done a lot of Judo in my time and that's the best uchimata (inner thigh) throw I've ever seen on ice. Crakner even managed to leave the ice at one point do get more power into it. Punches aside that probably hurt Boogaard as much as the one he took on the snooze. That was a heavy landing on his shoulder, still I'm sure he'll make up for it the meet next time they meet.

Posted by bluesrule on December 10, 2010 at 04:59 PM

in a short scrap but good combatants fighting like carkner and boogaard makes a good match but carkner got the better hits and take down giving him the win

Posted by 5 holes on December 09, 2010 at 11:11 PM

Carkner with the edge

Posted by skater1 on December 11, 2010 at 08:23 AM

Boyh landed big right hands at the same time but Carkner's shot seem to do the most damage although he was cut by Big B. I think Carkner busted Boogaard's nose and took this one.

Posted by Sensfandan on December 12, 2010 at 01:26 AM

Carkner suprised the Boogyman with a good right. Kudos to Carkner for going after him. Boogaard really got rocked, he never came back after the fight.

Posted by riffraff on December 10, 2010 at 09:49 AM

seriously anyone here pissing on carkners parade here is an idiot. bigjohnson are you serious with that epic fail of a ramble? check out the 18 second mark where boogy has a fist cocked and doesnt throw, (why? cos he is done). he grabs carkners collar and they both go down. boogy wanted no more after having his mouth caved in. ye carkner loses 9/10 against boogy but here he kills him. ranger fans get real. for the record i think both teams are a joke. one has avery and glen sather. the other has chris neil.

Posted by brad houghton on December 10, 2010 at 05:04 PM

Carkner proves once again the only way to fight Derek is fight to win! Carkner seems to have hurt DB with his right although Boogy's punch was not half bad either win Carkner

Posted by enviro61 on December 11, 2010 at 01:47 PM

Boogeyman was hurt more than Carkner without a doubt and was knocked out of the game. Broken nose > cut when it keeps you out of the line-up.

Posted by b.t.wilson on December 09, 2010 at 10:39 PM

carkner lands a thor-hammer to a seemingly unsuspecting boogaard, and then sadly, yet kind of smartly, takes the beast down before he can exact mortal revenge. must've got him good, seemed like carkner was making sure he was okay at the end. (or was he trash-talking...) carkner's right hand takes the victory, his takedown takes a point off. 6.

Posted by moneybags on December 10, 2010 at 01:41 AM

cark rocked him with a solid right ..stunned the Booger

Posted by staceyb on December 10, 2010 at 05:43 AM

It appears that Boogey's grill got crunched because he was bloodied and had to go off for repairs. The big flap immediately after the fight was that Carkner skated by the Rangers bench and allegedly flicked blood at the players. He wasn't saying hello to them, that's for sure. The bigger question for me is how on earth did the Sens blow this one by coughing up three unanswered goals in the third?

Posted by usmcaaron on December 10, 2010 at 12:30 AM

I wish people would quit worshiping that douche Boogaard. Glad to see him get his bell rung. Win Carkner.

Posted by Pierre LaRoc on December 10, 2010 at 08:37 AM

While I enjoy watching Orr KO Carkner every time the Leafs play the Senators, Carkner obviously gets the win here. Boogaard actually fights someone that's almost as tall as him and gets fed. Usually, he chooses to fight guys half a foot or more shorter than him. Carkner with the easy win....

Posted by fade2black on December 10, 2010 at 10:02 AM

Carkner for the bomb then the sucession of lefts. And Boogey went for the tie-up just as much as Carkner, he didnt want it to go on either.

a couple big blows, carkner landed a beauty and had the take down. even, but decision carkner

Posted by slshbleed on December 09, 2010 at 11:10 PM

Whats the difference between a street brawler and a boxer? One punch. It doesn't matter if he pulls the punch out of his back side. Carkner hurt Boogaard with that punch. Boogaard landed on Carkner, but didn't hurt him as badly. Win Carkner. If they fight 10 times, I think Boogaard likely wins 8 or 9 but not this time.

draw.. carkner is a dousch.. lands one punch then tackles the guy? he'll get knocked out soon enough.

Posted by Radar4 on December 10, 2010 at 12:33 PM

glad to see Carkner got the 10 mins misconduct. his high stick to the back of the head was uncalled for.

Posted by MIXEDUPTHROWDOW on December 10, 2010 at 09:17 AM

Started like it would be awesome. Carkner then just gave Boogy a bear-hug.

ugly takedown move by Carkner draw

Posted by trueblue3044 on December 10, 2010 at 12:31 AM

That was a hell of a shot by carkner. he should get points from winning for that. im sick of ignorant people giving the win or points to people for takedowns. he won cause the punch not the f*cking takedown!

Posted by Raoul Duke 708 on December 18, 2010 at 01:46 AM

Carkner landed one shot then bailed on the fight. Bitch move. He may have had the W if he didn't bail, but no wait to tell. Draw. Who are you yo-yo's giving Cark the W? He bailed like a little punk! I can't wait to see the Boogeyman put this clown to sleep next time they play.

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on December 10, 2010 at 01:54 AM

I'm giving this a draw, Why? Beacuse Carkner ended this early with the take down, Bogey got a couple early shots, Carkner replied with a stinger then opted out. DRAW in my eyes.

Posted by jcstokes on December 10, 2010 at 10:48 AM

Draw if anything. Carkner seems to be losing his mind from getting knocked out by Orr too many times. Each landed blows. They were both hurt and Boogie was ready to continue when Carkner held on and took him to the ice. What's he thinking flicking his blood? Can't wait for the rematch.

Posted by WinnerWinner on December 09, 2010 at 10:48 PM

close fight. boogaard landed two, carkner with one solid blow. called it a draw

Posted by bam932 on December 12, 2010 at 11:00 AM

Carkner ... easily.

Posted by NYR24 on December 10, 2010 at 10:53 AM

Win for Carkner based on damage done (broken nose for Boogie versus a cut for Carkner) and for landing a cleaner punch, but taking your opponent down early in a fight like that is a cheap move. I have to judge the fight by what happened in the actual fight, and what happened was Carkner's punch did more damage. Still, Carkner, as an experienced fighter, has to give his opponent the respect of being able to battle back in a fight. And trying to land one punch and then going for the take-down is not "strategy," it is cowardly, and I think the enforcers in the NHL would agree. Despite all of this, win for Carkner in this fight.

edge carkner, seems the stratagy with boogy is to get in close quick before you get bombed, the rematch should be interesting

Boogaards last fight in the nhl...RIP

Posted by Chill on December 10, 2010 at 01:37 PM

Nice RT by Carkner

Posted by kitcarnut on December 10, 2010 at 03:15 PM

Carkner gets the win here no question! Boogie didn't want to show his face lol

Posted by bigdog2007 on December 10, 2010 at 06:23 AM

Where are all the Leaf fans saying Carkner picks his spots? All you dummies trying watching the video again. Carkner pops him with the right then a few short lefts. Boogerman grabs him so he doesnt get hit, and wraps his left arm around Carkner. Carkner with the huge win, haters. How has Orr doen this year? Isn't he like 2-5 or something?

Posted by claire alexande on December 10, 2010 at 02:43 PM

Carkner wins, pure and simple. He may not be long for this world on another go-round, but Boogaard got beat this time.

Posted by BritishRedWing on December 10, 2010 at 04:14 PM

Win Carkner, over the guy so many on this site thought to be invincible! You just never know what can happen from game to game, shift to shift!

Posted by muskokadangler on December 12, 2010 at 04:07 PM

Carkner is starting to show his true colours and they ain't pritty.........He's a LOW LIFE!!!!!!! Good punch tho!!!

Posted by plp1676 on December 11, 2010 at 06:18 PM

That was a big shot Carkner landed, the msg announcers remind me of watching a boxer you have money on you only see the shots your guy lands. Boogard got the snot beat out of him and i didn't see any flicking at the bench he was ust letting them know Boogard just got beat down. The Rangers have no rrom to complain about anything as long as they have Avery on the bench

Posted by Messier3499 on December 10, 2010 at 10:10 AM

Win Carkner!

Posted by dropkick25 on December 10, 2010 at 10:32 AM

Carkner landed the better bomb. Then decided he was happy with that and grabbed tight for a pulldown.Quit while you're ahead survival strategy.Wish it would have kept going.Really stunned Boog but he looked like he was ready to keep throwing...should be awesome next time these to go....

Posted by chad420 on December 10, 2010 at 10:28 AM

win Boogeyman..just kidding....Carkner hurting Boogey with that,i guess he didnt get lucky with Orr last year..well,kinda

Posted by Tony Esposito on December 09, 2010 at 11:42 PM

Carkner with the decisive win here.

Posted by hncreature on December 09, 2010 at 11:32 PM

The one shot by Carkner wins it - Though lucky for him he went to the "hug" - Watch out for the rematch in later pissed off the Boogyman and you will pay

Posted by mike hartman on May 15, 2011 at 10:54 AM

Carkners big punch ended this one as Boogard was dazed and concussed and was trying to survive after that one landed. Carkner did not need to throw him down on his shoulder at that point, which caused a shoulder injury as well. Rest in Peace boogey man, you'll be missed.

Posted by SFVflyers88 on December 10, 2010 at 08:37 PM

Boogy got a broken nose, Carkner got his hepatitis blood and flicked it on the who cares if it hit Avery he already has Hep c.

Posted by brokenhead on December 09, 2010 at 11:34 PM

Carkner with the W.

Posted by Richterfan on December 10, 2010 at 09:40 AM

Each guy lands one big shot. Boogie's shot cuts Carkner over his eye but Carkner's shot catches Boogie flush on the nose (the way Boogie reacted, I bet it is broken). Gotta give the win to Carkner for landing the better shot. You can obviously see that Boogie was hurt by the way he immediately went to the locker room.

Posted by samtheman on December 09, 2010 at 11:45 PM

Carkner lands a bomb that hurt Boogy and then slams him to the ice with the takedown. I'm not sure how anyone really thinks Boogy won this one?

Posted by Dr. Goonery on December 10, 2010 at 12:33 AM

Carkner drops him!!!!!!!

Posted by grads5565 on December 03, 2013 at 04:02 AM

win carkner

Posted by flamesgoon on December 09, 2010 at 10:39 PM

carkner win this fight by hair

Posted by evan29 on December 10, 2010 at 06:25 PM

Carkner with the win. He broke boogies nose. Huge props to boogie for wanting to keep fighting and not going for the pussy take down. Huge anti-props to carkner for doing the pussy take down, chirping a guy on the ground, and flicking blood on the bench. Next time they fight, i hope carkner loses a few teeth.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on February 21, 2015 at 02:34 AM

The boogeyman handled Carkner in this lackluster scrap.

Posted by Oil Can Henry on December 09, 2010 at 11:19 PM

Carkner was getting thumped,....goes for his only option - the bail-out takedown.

Posted by tville23 on December 10, 2010 at 08:47 AM

Boogy landed more punches and didn't go for the wussy take-down. Decision to him given those factors.

Posted by Rags4Life on December 09, 2010 at 11:01 PM

Boogey broke his nose in this one. Called it a draw though.

Posted by sedinfan on December 09, 2010 at 10:41 PM

Draw, boogaard a couple more punches but that bomb by Carkner hurt the Boogeyman. Smart job by Carkner, tie him up or get killed.
