Looked like the non-fighting Drewiske had stick'em on his hands. Nothing but a jersey death grip... Terrible!

Posted by Caps44 on November 13, 2010 at 02:06 AM

Ott really wanted to fight; Drewiske really didn't. By the measure, Drewiske "won." However, there really wasn't a fight, just a hugfest.

They did everything but slip each other the tongue.

no respect to Ott for choosing the non-fighter. He wasn't able to win though... what a joke!

gave this one a draw.

Guys, I was at the game and Brown got hit , no dive and he was hit with his back to the player. Everyone was taking runs at everyone but Brown was not diving. This fight was one of the off shoots of that and basically Ott could not get anything off on Davis and Davis kept him tied up, nothing happening here but a draw for inactivity. Ott should lose for not being able to handle the non fighter but it is a draw. How the hell did Ott get the A on his jersey?

Man Ott didn't look so good against a complete non-fighter. This was Drewiske's first NHL fight and he was fighting very defensively, but Ott should have feasted on a guy like this.

It was a good draw. They both showed some flashes of taking over the fight but it never tilted to either side. Like to see a rematch!

Can we please find people that televise games that know what the hell their doing? HORRIBLE directing, camera work

Not much has been written about Davis Drewiske but he came into the league out of college with a little time spent at Manchester. I haven't seen him fight before but he held his own against a tough guy like Ott.

There is embellishing, there is diving, and then there is Duthtin Brown..What a complete [email protected]

Ott EDGED his opponent later, landing few 3-4 key shots

Posted by mullet33 on November 12, 2010 at 10:38 PM

This game was horribly offiicated and Brown should be renamed "The Fish" for all of the flopping he did - come on, Skrastins knocking down big Brown like that - embarrasing - hey, maybe the new "Sean Avery". LA KING FANATIC - another non-biased, make excuses for your teams actions report. How about when Ott touched Brown on his back on the way to the bench and he dropped to the ground like he just got shot - what a joke....

Cool dive by Brwon, no respect for this guy anymore.

edge ott and 4

Posted by PA232 on November 12, 2010 at 08:59 AM

Ott appears to land the most shots, but it's hard to tell from the camera angle, but forget all of that and give the Emmy to Dustin Brown.

Close fight slight edge to OTT!

Posted by done on November 13, 2010 at 10:39 AM

edge to Ott ! All Drewiske wanted to do was hug and maybe give Ott a kiss. Why drop the gloves if all your gonna do is hold on. Someone needed to beat the s*** out of these clowns running around and taking dives the hole game. Wish he would have been beating the s*** out of Brown. Another Captain thats a punk and unable to stand up for himself. I

Ott with a very narrow win against a non-fighter. Very unfair decision by Ott, showing his cowardness. Look who are among the names he fought last season: E. Brewer, J. Chimera, K. Chipchura, ... if he had guts, he would wait for Clifford or Simmonds.

Posted by Aldous on November 12, 2010 at 09:56 AM

I don't think Ott looked bad really, just Drewiske did a damn good job avoiding getting hit and pinning him arms away. Ott got in more hits so I say he wins. I'm an Ott and a Big D fan, but it wasn't anything to link to my friends in the morning.

Pretty boring stuff, dude held on.

Posted by glovedropper21 on November 12, 2010 at 02:25 AM

Just like ott to go after a non fighter but good job ny drewiske holdin his own

Posted by kingstanleyLA on November 12, 2010 at 02:10 AM

Ott really sucked in this fight. Drewiskie never fights and Ott looked bad which leaves no choice but to give the fight to drewiskie! Kings!!!!!

crappy camera work....crappy fight great dive

Posted by Stevie-Mac on November 12, 2010 at 10:08 AM

Ott has to be one of the most over rated "fighters" in the league. No wonder he takes on non-brawlers...he can barely hold his own against them. DRAW.

Posted by blackngold on November 13, 2010 at 12:33 AM

What a dirty ass hit by Ott at the beginning of the replay. Hands up high, stick up high to the face. Just bad. Then LA 1-ups Dallas with that terrible, terrible dive by Brown. The fight itself sucked dick.

Posted by hockeyherman on November 23, 2010 at 01:52 AM

Wow Dustin Brown went down like he had been shot! That was a beauty of a dive!

Posted by Humper on November 12, 2010 at 01:10 PM

Crap camera work left me with very little to go by, so said draw. What I actually WANTED to see was Ott getting the piss knocked out of him. I guess if he keeps picking non-fighters that may not happen soon.

So I'm a Kings fan and I'll even admit that that dive by Brown was pretty cheesy. There was clearly contact but Brown also embelashed it a good amount. Didnt get to see the whole game because I was out of town but it looked fairly physical. As for the fight... Ott should have destroyed Drewiske. I've barely seen Drewiske throw checks let alone punches. My favorite part on the Dallas feed, when they should the replay of the lead up to the fight, Ott trying to go at Drewiske and Davis just pushes him over. Then Ott pops up all pissed. The fight was a draw which should be an embarassment to Ott. I know alot of people dont like Matt Greene but he does his assitant captainly duties at the end by letting Ott know who he should fight in the future.

Posted by Screaming Buffalo on November 12, 2010 at 04:12 PM

Brown was diving all over the place last night.

Posted by Rags4Life on November 13, 2010 at 03:26 AM

Whats this guy talking about? Skrastins clearly stepped into Brown no question.

Posted by Nesquik on November 12, 2010 at 03:06 AM

Shut up stupid Stars announcers. You suck.
