staubitz was smart for not talking and just dropping the gloves and going. it looked like jackman was trying to lure staubitz into a shit talking match and then try and get the jump on him...y'all could say whatever, thats what it looked like to me. DRAW

Staubitz is a cheap shot, eye gouging punk who needs his @ss handed to him! His time is coming..

The charging penalty was joke. couple of strides than he let up for the hit. puck was at his feet. This tuesday the league should figure out what a clean check is. Its becoming a circus. LET THEM PLAY

seriously how much of a cheap punk-ass bitch is Staubitz. This guy deserves a beating. And I hate the flames too.

Since we don't see this Western Conference foes very much, I think I'm a bit more neutral: Staubitz did charge, did aim for the head. Jackman obviously wasn't fully recovered from that shot when Staubitz starts the dance. Not a great bout, but I expect some disagreement.

i had a hard time seeing if that one staubitz hit actually connected and knocked jackman down or if he slipped or something. anyways, horrible charge by staubitz, punk move, and then to try and get the first couple knuckles in, i always hate that. going with a draw until people call me a homer or confirm that it did connect, then i'll go staubitz.

What a goon hit, then Jackman fights anyways after the cheap shot, where are the teammates there! Too bad all the flames don't play like Jackman.

Staubitz gives a cheapshot then tries to take advantage of him before he is ready. He is a double puke, even though I hate the Flames.

Jackman should have maybe kept the mitts on and got a 5 min. PP for his team .

staubitz

Posted by bruin1160 on November 06, 2010 at 12:25 PM

Nothing but cheap on Staubitz part...Jackman was still not right and he jumps him. Lost respect for that .

Jackman's a joke as are all of the Flamers. Staubit's is a bit of cheap shotting puke but it's more than allowed when the Flamers are concerned as the deserve everything they have coming to them. Looking forward to ripper and Staubit's going at it again after their DRAW this year.

staubitz gets the win.

gotta love Jacker even in the loss

Holy annihilation-body-check , Batman!... ...even if it was a little late. Still, not exactly a ''feel good '' victory for Staubitz. I'm pretty sure that the fight would have been much more balanced, had Jackman not just had his bell rung... and was half-way to doing the ''funky chicken express'', before it even started. I sense a round 2 in the future.

Posted by tattooedkingpin on November 06, 2010 at 01:25 PM

Should never drop the gloves when youre woozy. Jackman had no choice but to fight, but seemed to have a hard time connecting. W Staubitz

Posted by staceyb on November 06, 2010 at 10:53 PM

I'll give it to Staubitz but his opponent was a bit wobbly after that heavy hit. Throwing those punches that missed Jackman looked like a drunk trying to find the keyhole of his apartment door.

Posted by ghjkfdhgfd on November 05, 2010 at 10:35 PM

Jackman is a bitch, ran away from a rookie all game long....

Posted by Juha82 on November 06, 2010 at 03:34 AM

Staubitz jumped to Jackman landing one good shot. Staubitz took over in the end, but dont land his attempt though but Jackamn goes down to the ice where Staubitz had the advantage. EDGE/NARROW WIN B.Staubitz in decent fight.

Posted by 5fourfighten on November 06, 2010 at 10:51 AM

Why did no one on the Flames step in for Jackman? Allowing Jackman who was obviously dazed and confused to take on Staubitz speak volumns about Flames team unity. No wonder they have lost 4 (?) games in a row. Jackman may not be a top Heavyweight but he NEVER turns down an invitation, sticks up for teammates and has the heart of a lion. On that note, a tainted win by Staubitz.

too short.. jackman missed good swings.. staubitz landed two.. i'll go ko for staubitz

Posted by Freedoms on November 05, 2010 at 10:11 PM

Win Staubitz. Seriously, one of those days, Jackman will get fully Knock out and put directly to the ER This is my prediction. He's one of the worst. Message to "riffraff" : Now why would you call Staubitz a punk for doing his job ?

Posted by tyrone on November 08, 2011 at 11:07 PM

Holy crap Jacko got Jacked-Up.

Posted by TrueBlue26 on November 05, 2010 at 10:56 PM

THATS NOT A CHARGE...CLEAN HIT!

Posted by hockeyherman on November 06, 2010 at 12:24 PM

I guess a charge but I thought it was a nice hit on Jackman! Staubitz is just lucky that Jackman never landed either uppercut at the beginning!

Posted by claire alexande on November 09, 2010 at 08:46 PM

draw all the way as staubitz unable to take advantage of jackman's stunned state after the cheap shot hit. staubitz loses all the respect I had for him after making rypien his bitch.

Posted by Creeway on November 07, 2010 at 01:01 AM

Staubitz is such a goofball.

Posted by The Foil on November 06, 2010 at 11:31 PM

Edge to STaubitz, he knew to stay just out of range
