kaminski is lucky daneyko was at the end of an exhausting shift, or he would have received a thrashing. daneyko looked tired even before the fight started.
Kaminski has a surprisingly good go in this scrap. But Daneyko landed enough lefts to get the slight edge in this bout.
Decent fight. Win Ken Daneyko.
the linesmen were the stars of this fight--if they want to keep going--let 'em go!!!
Both men square off in the New Jersey zone after Danekyo had cleared the puck. They square off for about 4 or 5 seconds then engage. Both Daneyko and Kaminski threw simultaneous punches in the initial flurry with Daneyko's looking like they connected better than Kaminski's. Both men fall on the ice and still are throwing punches from their knees. As they get up, Kaminski gets in what looks like a pretty good uppercut on Daneyko but Daneyko comes back with some lefts of his own and gets Kaminski's jersey and helmet off and throws some lefts too. After Kaminski loses his gear, they square off again! Both men are trying to deke the other into coming in and getting in close. Daneyko then goes in tight after Kaminski, whose back was facing the boards, and they tie up and the linesmen break it up. Kaminski then gives Daneyko a pat on the back for what I guess was a good fight.
