clear draw nothing much left to say

Posted by lovejoy on November 21, 2008 at 01:18 AM

clear draw. both guys were trying, but nothing really landed.

Posted by Riomouse911 on November 21, 2008 at 01:49 AM

If those two lefts at the end by Begin were from flat feet instead of thrown while falling they would've hurt... draw.

Posted by bob_like_fudge on November 21, 2008 at 10:19 AM

clear draw..... hey irishbrwaler its kinda funny the way u talk about us and the bruins cuz we wooped their ass like 20 games strait before this year. so you just hide that big boner for lucic until they can win at least A COUPLE !

Posted by IrishBrawler on November 21, 2008 at 09:08 AM

Hey Canadiens fans...Tell me how does the Bruins ass tastes this year? Did Komisarek ever get Lucic's skate out of his ass since his beat down?

Posted by Flyersfan4life2 on November 21, 2008 at 08:58 AM

I voted draw on this one. Both fighters were throwing punches but nothing really significant. I guess you could give it to Begin but a punch didnt really knock down bass. Well bass is lucky begin dropped them because BGL was coming for some. Dont know if anyone else noticed BGL skating up behind them to intervene.

Too many Hab homers here to make any sense. This was a DRAW for Begin at best.

Posted by staceyb on November 21, 2008 at 07:50 AM

Cody Bass is a scrapper--the Leafs need him quick. That being said, Begin looks like he got more punches in but Bass's had a greater wallop.

Posted by dorkinheimer on November 22, 2008 at 05:25 PM

Very slight edge for Begin

Posted by nighthawk walt on November 21, 2008 at 06:48 PM

decent tilt, bass started to take control, after good BEGINing.bass loses his balance, call it a draw.

Posted by habsfan82 on November 21, 2008 at 09:37 AM

Hey this messege is directed back at the guy who said how does it feel trailing the Bruins, well for one the season is still early 2 how does last yrs season taste when we skunked u 8-0 in the reg season yet we dont hear a peep until you win a few games and are in first place...so typical of a Bruins fan us Habs fans stick together through it all win or lose because we know our team will Prevail......and by the way at least Komisarek had the balls to drop em and hold his own with Lucic..

Posted by hal29 on November 21, 2008 at 11:55 PM

ha ha ha ha....komisarek definetly didn't hold his own with lucic, definetly watch the wrong fight.whe some holds there own they stand fight toe to toe.umm lucic dominated him...but nice try

Posted by bruins rule on November 21, 2008 at 08:31 AM

i thought this was a quick pretty even fight.

Posted by kayc906 on November 21, 2008 at 04:38 PM

Begin landed the best punches.

Posted by powpow on November 21, 2008 at 09:07 AM

Gotta love Basser...he fights wide open everytime. He takes some for sure but he gives them and its fun to watch! ZACK HUGTINI TAKE NOTES SVP!

Posted by markshark on November 21, 2008 at 11:43 AM

Hard to call a winner in this one. Would have to say Draw!!!

Posted by Crooked on November 21, 2008 at 01:16 AM

good quick fight... agreed, draw.

Posted by BigRob1 on November 21, 2008 at 01:05 AM

Great fight. No clear winner, draw all the way!

Posted by westside on November 21, 2008 at 01:53 PM

Lots of punches for such a short fight. Edge to Begin.

Posted by Leafs2006 on November 22, 2008 at 12:26 PM

woooohoooo....Bass fell like a teenager at a prom dance! I love it when a " seniorita" gets his ass handed to him! Where was Christine Neil or Antoinette Vermin??????? And the seniorita's lost another game as well......cellar dwellers!

Posted by lucbell on November 21, 2008 at 01:45 AM

Laraque is watchin'....

Posted by Grumpybear on November 21, 2008 at 05:39 PM

Not a bad little tilt, both guys throwing and connecting a few. No bombs. Begin going forward + Bass going backwards=Win Begin

Posted by darrengate on November 21, 2008 at 09:24 PM

Begin gets the win for the last punch.

Posted by CRUNCH31 on November 21, 2008 at 10:46 AM

How can some guys call this a draw? must be blind or anti-habs fans..second option sounds good,,, a draw lol.......begin lands 2 very good left on bass's face, clear win begin.

Posted by Mr. Nasty on November 21, 2008 at 08:22 PM

another angle on RDS shows Begin landing the left to take him down.

Posted by Borisso on November 22, 2008 at 12:22 AM

Begin wins this out with 2 hreat KO punchs and to snowboardinmatt seems to me someone is still bitter about the habs totally owning the bruins over that last couple of years (regular season OFF playoffs)... even though I have to admit the bruins reall gave the habs a beating the other day... there is not enough material to be cocky about it... lets talk about this at the end of the season...

Posted by Lister100 on November 21, 2008 at 09:54 AM

Win Begin. Anyone watching the RDS game would have seen that Begin connected two on Bass's chin, which put Bass down. This view hides Begin's punches, but Bass went down for a reason. He also landed only one punch if any.

Posted by Behn Wilson on November 21, 2008 at 07:35 PM

Good, quick tilt. Bass punched well, until a big left by Begin turned the tide.

Posted by DARCY T on November 22, 2008 at 12:48 PM

begin in a good fight

Posted by Snowrider on November 21, 2008 at 10:28 AM

Just for the 2 or 3 last , Bégin win this one!!

Posted by blackgoldfan on November 22, 2008 at 11:26 AM

good fight. begin slightly better getting a k.d.

Posted by glaxko on November 21, 2008 at 02:20 PM

Begin with the victory.

Posted by Jellyczar on November 21, 2008 at 09:19 PM

Bass.a bit better today

Posted by willismc on November 21, 2008 at 03:24 PM

Decent scrap, good to see very little defense

Posted by brymaster1 on November 21, 2008 at 01:45 AM

close, edge to bass.

Posted by dorobo on November 21, 2008 at 07:02 AM

Those 2 last left actually landed pretty strong. This footage doesn't show it clearly, but it was obvious while I watched it live. Clear win Bégin.

Posted by montrealerz27 on November 21, 2008 at 10:27 AM

Begin drop the gloves first and take a litle advantage but bass fight well since those 2 left crush him. clear win for Begiin!

Posted by Wild_KO King on November 21, 2008 at 08:43 AM

Habs fans out in force.

Posted by FotiuNystrom on November 21, 2008 at 06:29 PM

Nice exchange_ wouldve liked to see em stay on their feet tho!

Posted by geoffro on November 22, 2008 at 11:51 AM

this is the definition of DRAW. good scrap.

Posted by adonis69 on November 21, 2008 at 04:00 PM

Posted by chad420 on July 02, 2009 at 03:16 PM

bass early...begin late for the win

Posted by ling2212 on November 21, 2008 at 07:50 AM

Good fight, I give the edge to Begin.

Posted by MarCH on November 21, 2008 at 10:45 PM

Advantage Bégin! Bass jab to many time in the air...

Posted by snowboardinmatt on November 21, 2008 at 10:49 AM

Habsfan82, quarter of the way into the season isn't THAT early, I know you're just getting scared. And to answer your question, last year (and that's exactly it, LAST YEAR) wasn't that bad. I could deal with losing 8-0 in the regular season after pushing the Habs to a game 7 with our banged up band of brothers, that entire series was enough to bring this team together for this season, and it's already showing. And what do you mean you don't hear from us, do we have to call you to brag everytime we win or something? And I see Habs fans stick together when they're getting stomped on at the Garden everytime they come down and have to cry and lean on each other. And if by "holding his own" you mean Komisarek got his ass kicked, then yes, he did.
