Draw. Both landed some shots, nothing solid. Thought Neil did well despite the 6 inch and 30 pound disadvantage.

Posted by tattooedkingpin on October 26, 2008 at 09:54 AM

Finally Parros looks like his old self. call this one a draw

Posted by Mcgyvr on April 10, 2010 at 10:00 AM

BattleAxe13, Neil fights anyone. Always has.

Posted by powpow on October 26, 2008 at 11:27 AM

PURE DRAW HATERS. Add another to the list of nobody's Neils fights right?

Posted by scrapnuts on October 26, 2008 at 12:53 AM

Chris Neil lb4lb the toughest??? 2 word response to that: Jordon Tootoo. Anyways, I called that fight a draw, Parros landed more punches, But, Neil had the edge in controlling the fight, and trying to open it up... plus the takedown. Equals out to a draw to me. But I agree def not a win for Parros. Then again I'm biased, Parros sucks. I'm surprised he stayed on his feet that long.

Posted by Riomouse911 on October 25, 2008 at 04:35 PM

The spinning back-fist (elbow) that Parros threw was about the only thing that caught Neil by suprise.. and that was more of a slap. Each had about one good punch to no effect. Draw

Posted by Jellyczar on October 25, 2008 at 06:58 PM

Draw....Parros did not exploit his size and experience.

Posted by Sukoshi84 on October 26, 2008 at 02:56 AM

Draw bottom line

Posted by Boogeyman2383 on October 24, 2008 at 10:53 PM

Solid right right from Neil near the beginning, Parros came back with a couple of good shots as well. Gotta call it a draw, no real big shots

Posted by JETTA KNIGHT on October 25, 2008 at 02:54 PM

draw. Perros held on too. Size advantage and he couldn't get free? neil being the light-heavy here held his own, he had better shots at the start and neither really connected. and neil took him down kinda easy.

Posted by flyerguy on October 25, 2008 at 07:39 AM

You people that voted for Parros in a WIN are just plain stupid. I've never seen such pathetic opinions on fighting as I've seen in here.

Posted by staceyb on October 25, 2008 at 06:04 AM

Pound for pound Chris Neil is the toughest player in the NHL. He's fighting out of his weight class when he takes on a guy like Parros but I thought he held his own.

Posted by bruiser11 on October 25, 2008 at 12:32 AM

neil has better balance..parros was open a couple of times in this fight and was lucky he didn't get tagged in the midst..gotta love parros though!

Posted by osakaronin on October 26, 2008 at 08:56 PM

Fan of neither teams nor player. How can anyone call this a win for Parros. You have an obvious draw here, both landed a few shots and neither was compromised. A few credits for Neil fighting a much bigger man

Neil with some good shots at the start, Parros then swings back but not much seems to land cleanly. They get in close, then parros may have landed a jab, Neil then takes Parros down. Draw.

Posted by zeppelinfan on October 24, 2008 at 11:59 PM

It was a decent fight at the beginning. both guys started swinging and landing. but eventually parros' size made them not be able to fight so much. but ok Draw

Posted by neutralfighter on October 25, 2008 at 12:48 PM

Not impressed with Parros anymore. Neill is a tough customer but Parros has a huge size advantage and couldn't do much. draw.

Posted by Jordybats99 on February 26, 2016 at 12:47 PM

Decent Draw.

Posted by Franchise on October 26, 2008 at 07:39 PM

I gave it a draw. Parros should own guys like this, but then again, its Parros. The guy couldnt knock out Glass Joe.

Posted by bostonrs555 on October 25, 2008 at 03:02 AM

Neil here, not because of Parros' clumsiness, but because Neil out works the bigger opponent in Mr. Hair and shows the big ga loot how its done.

Posted by PUTTEG on October 25, 2008 at 02:52 AM

Many of you who are voting for Parros are obviously basing that on likes and dislikes. I´d accept a draw. But Neil actually handled himself pretty well, finding ways to throw 'em whenever Parros opened up. How Parros can be the winner beats me - if you're not just one of them who hates Neil whatever he does.

Posted by McGoon on October 25, 2008 at 11:24 AM

It really is amazing how many fat idiots here are saying Parros won, or landed the better shots. Neil landed the best shot early in the fight and got the take down. Little baby glancing blows by Parros dont do much.

Posted by bigdude on October 28, 2008 at 08:42 AM

Congrats to Neil taking on and handling a bruiser like Parros.

Posted by CHRISNEILNATOR on December 01, 2008 at 11:11 PM

NEIL IS HANDS DOWN THE TOUGHEST IN THE LEAGUE PARROS HAS A SOLID CHIN AND A NICE STACH BUT NEIL WITH THE KNOCK OUT

Posted by Gunslinger on October 25, 2008 at 09:15 AM

Christine actually fights someone worth fighting, the little bitch. If only Parros could stand on his skates.

Posted by smwarpig63 on October 24, 2008 at 11:35 PM

not really a fight at all, more like two catty girls arguing over a boyfriend

Posted by Humper on October 25, 2008 at 10:33 AM

Edge goes to Parros. And no, I have no bias against Neil (or love for Parros for that matter).

Posted by Behn Wilson on October 26, 2008 at 01:52 PM

Parros didn't use his size advantage to its fullest extent, by opting for an in-close battle that usually evens the scale with a smaller opponent, but he still did enough to ''shave'' off a win.

Posted by Spanky_Jazz on October 25, 2008 at 04:15 AM

Call me biased, but it looked like George had the edge to me. Then again, I am biased because I just hate Chris Neil...

Posted by Juha82 on October 25, 2008 at 04:55 AM

not a god fight. EDGE Parros landing few decent punches.

Posted by kennyj76 on October 25, 2008 at 08:25 PM

i gave parros the win. i personal HATE CHRIS NEIL and hes a pussy and after he figured he couldnt beat parros he just wanted to wrestle while parros still wanted to throw. i hate chris neil win to parros

Posted by Dave Brown was the Baddest on October 25, 2008 at 09:32 AM

It actually looked like Neil wanted this one but he played it way too cautious. Had he gotten to arms length 'Stache woulda put him to sleep. And I'm with Bluto, watching Neil get is lumps is quite fun.

Posted by snowave on October 25, 2008 at 04:08 AM

Close, but Parros with the edge for a few more punches and effort.

Posted by BattleAxe13 on October 25, 2008 at 07:26 AM

Wow I'm surprised Neil went with Parros, Neil is usually cowaring behind someone or getting ready to cheap shot when a player isn't looking.

Posted by b.t.wilson on October 24, 2008 at 11:23 PM

Meh. Parros sure chucks wildly. I would give him the slight edge for his last few little rabbit jabs if nothing else.

Posted by bluto1313 on October 24, 2008 at 10:46 PM

God, I just love watching Neil getting his fat ass kicked!

Posted by Ragtop1day on October 24, 2008 at 11:01 PM

Chris...suggestion....pick on somebody your own size...some of these guys are actually bigger than you..

Posted by bender27 on October 24, 2008 at 10:04 PM

Neil started well than tried to push Parros over for the remainder

Posted by falseguardianX on October 29, 2008 at 03:03 PM

Parros, the worst skater ever... actually stayed on his feet even though Neil was trying to push him over to end it...instead Stash used his size/strength to push Neil off him just enough to land a few shots.

Posted by mikebflorida on October 25, 2008 at 01:05 PM

Stache off balance but in control.

Posted by SirYohans on October 25, 2008 at 12:20 PM

Parros seemed to land better shots. But Neal was sneaky enough to get some in himself.

Posted by BooSanta on October 25, 2008 at 01:53 PM

Parros is so frustrating to watch. He's huge but his balance is horrible he always has to tie up which often takes away his reach advantage. He still manages the win here with 4 good, but too close for damage rights. Neil can only consolate himself by getting the takedown.

Posted by Thunder Cat 2 on October 25, 2008 at 07:33 PM

Parros wins this scrap, landed some big right hands. Neil stood his ground and landed a few shots

Posted by eadamson on October 26, 2008 at 05:52 PM

Pretty entertaining, actually. Parros gets the win for his short jabs as well as even getting an elbow to Neil's face in there... close fight but Parros pretty cleanly had the upper hand most of the fight.

Posted by DetroitIan on October 25, 2008 at 04:03 AM

Parros landed the better shots. Simple as that. So Parros gets the win.

Posted by SOCALFAN on October 25, 2008 at 06:39 PM

Solid win. Nice elbow

Posted by blackgoldfan on October 25, 2008 at 10:58 AM

Parros gets this "W" based on points. lands more punches. Props to neil for taking on the much bigger parros and giving him a run for his money.

Posted by kayserrox33 on January 19, 2009 at 09:31 AM

this 1 was good but it looked pretty close

Posted by fridge rules on October 26, 2008 at 01:54 AM

Good fight

Posted by tnaveler on October 25, 2008 at 01:38 PM

Neil is a punk and he got mugged. Win Parros. I only wish that Neil would have died so I could dance on his grave. Him and Sean Avery need to go play in Europe.

Posted by FightNight7 on January 06, 2009 at 09:03 PM

Clear Draw

Posted by bam932 on October 24, 2008 at 10:33 PM

Draw. Neil did pretty well considering the size difference.

Posted by bloodchurn on October 26, 2008 at 04:35 AM

Parros should have done much better.

Posted by Let-m-Go on October 25, 2008 at 04:37 PM

Nothing worth mentioning landed because if you count the one and only shot that Neil lands agaisnt Parros' head/helmet then youd have to count a bunch of rabbit punches to Neils' face....no damage.....no distinct edge......draw

Posted by OttawafanRob23 on October 25, 2008 at 11:09 AM

I would give the edge to Parros. I was sitting right in front of these guys, and watched as Neil looked for the take-down early to end it before he swalloed any teeth. Parros is out of Neil's weight class, I think Neil did will; but I agree if he is to be Ottawa's tough guy for the year...it will be a long year for him.

Posted by gmr133 on October 27, 2008 at 11:18 AM

Parros has the reach, but sucks and still needs double runners on his skates to stand up. Slight edge to Neil.

Posted by bigdog2007 on October 25, 2008 at 07:14 AM

Neil with the clear win. Parros missed with pretty much everything. This is where the loser Philly fans would cry like girls, that Neil (Miley Cote) isn't a true heavyweight. Chris had the most punches connect and the takedown of the much bigger man. Love the Neil haters. So jealous. A goal and a win over the George "I can't stand up on my skates" Parros. Go Neiler!!!

Posted by terrystheman on October 25, 2008 at 12:20 PM

Chrissy was trying to bail out from the start

Posted by sharpeye on October 25, 2008 at 01:37 AM

Hug-fest. If Neil is going to be fighting all the heavyweights for OTW this season, he's going to have a long, painful year ahead of him.

Posted by chad420 on July 21, 2009 at 05:17 PM

edge ron jeremy... a 5

Posted by Rynryn on October 25, 2008 at 11:32 AM

that was pretty close to a draw which is amazing on Neil's part. unfortunately he spent a lot of the fight trying to get parros to the ice while parros spent all his time throwing punches. parros.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on March 01, 2015 at 01:37 AM

parros used his size to his advantage

Posted by chelios247 on October 25, 2008 at 01:59 PM

Posted by CocoQuaker7 on October 25, 2008 at 09:11 AM

Parros wins with the short rights.

Posted by TBLightningGuru on October 25, 2008 at 01:26 AM

Clear win for Parros. yes he has the size advantage but Neil really just looked like he was hanging on

Posted by greenwood on June 25, 2009 at 09:25 PM

Great effort by both players here. Big George gets a few more shots in than Neil.
