McIver gets the early shots in, Staubitz gets the last shot in, I call it a draw.

nice scrap.. some good throws by both players.. draw.

I hate calling a draw but this was really very even. McIver had an early edge but staubitz battles back going shot for shot in the middle then looks to have the advatage before the knock down. Draw. I call for a rematch!

it was an okay fight. staubitz with win. but mostly a draw

Decent fight. Not great, but decent. Seemed like Staubitz had control most of the way, so I give him the edge.

Who is Staubitz? McIver knows who he is now. Win for Staubitz in his debut.

Staubitz with a clear KD win, the punch hit him and Nate went down

Way to make an NHL debut Staubitz!! Win to Staubitz

Good to see Staubitz in the lineup... he had some entertaining fights in the AHL last year and I hope he has alot more in the NHL in him... brad with the win.

slight edge to staubitz, decent scrap, cripes it seems like everybody on the ducks is willing to drop them and go

Pretty decent fight but nothing great. I'm pretty sure that last punch by Staubitz knocked McIver to the ice so I would say give a slim win to Staubitz.

Edge to Staubitz.

Staubitz seemed to have control most of the fight and landed a ggod one at the end. Slim win to Staubitz.

Staubitz with the edge, and the Canucks are dum.

Awesome left hand by Staubitz, McIver didn't have much left after that.

Posted by brunis_pens on October 18, 2008 at 05:13 AM

i gave it to mciver, because ducks are bullies no one can beat us (i'd better quit that)

Decent fight--at least they're throwing with mean intent, even if they're not really landing. Aim fellas.

Big left hand ends the fight. Staubitz is a gamer.

Posted by bigdog2007 on October 18, 2008 at 10:44 AM

Nice left by the kid

Posted by IrishFiveO on October 18, 2008 at 11:19 AM

Looks like they both landed a few, give it to Staubitz for the finish

Posted by brawler03 on October 18, 2008 at 03:02 AM

Decent scrap. Staubitz seemed to land a couple. Win Staubitz.
