Excelent fight from 2 bad mother fuckers! Im going Martin. Joedog I agree fully I like your style.

Posted by devilsadvocate on January 07, 2017 at 08:55 PM

A rare good tilt. I thought Martin controlled the whole fight. Got more shots in, and had McCarron on the defensive the whole time.

Posted by Humper on January 07, 2017 at 09:03 PM

Martin with more activity and better shots.

Martin rocked pretty much the entire Canadiens team on that shift. Outside of some jersey jabs that scored Matt handled McCarron pretty easily. I wish the Leafs would pick up another capable hand. Who knows maybe Gauthier can do it, he handled Farnham with ease...not that the size advantage he had didn't help.

McCarron, though big, can't fight with the big leaguers like Martin.

Clean hit by Martin? may have been a little late but not damaging. Fight was fairly close again with no injuries. Give edge to Martin!

clean hit good fight Martin with the win

,Martin controls start to finish

Posted by Great Murray on January 08, 2017 at 07:40 PM

Martin pretty much hits every Canadian on the ice and then bats Farnham out of his way so he could fight the biggest Canadian available. Martin gets the win but his hand has to hurt after punching McCarron in the helmet that much. McCarron does OK against a real tough cookie. Toronto wins the fights but gets booted a notch lower in the standings.

Martin with a big hit in on the forecheck. Farnham goes after him and luckily for him wasn't able to get at him. Instead MM gets after him, and doesn't do too badly against the more experienced Martin. Although Martin does get the victory in this long scrap.

Posted by bigmike53 on January 07, 2017 at 11:09 PM

That was a marathon scrap that Martin controlled from start to finish. McCarron's got heart but not enough experience to handle Martin. Win Martin.

Great hit! Good scrap. Martin, zero fucks given!

Tor 2, MTL 0....

Refs let the more evenly match fight continue and fight fans hget a nice one from McCarron and Martin. Martin scores the bigger bombs and McCarron hangs in there. Even the jersey jabs were decent in this one.

Martin beats the crap out of some pylon named McCausland or McClement or whatever I'd say Martin currently owns the heavyweight belt in the NHL

6 and a draw, strictly for entertainment value.

Martin thought he was Colton Orr for a minute. I like that. He can throw those heavy, heavy mallets like an oil rig. McCarron happy to not receive too many of those. W to Marty.

Posted by doobi1 on January 09, 2017 at 10:47 AM

McCarron tried and tried and was rewarded, each time, with a face smash from Martin who, oh by the way, gets the WIN.

Posted by skipperbath on January 07, 2017 at 09:11 PM

Pretty good fight.

Matt Martin with the win McCarron was game but the more experienced fighter Martin scores a relatively easy win

Posted by DARCY T on January 28, 2017 at 09:26 AM

2 fights going on at once young mccarron challenged martin for running around but martin's experienced fighter...he landed some rights from time to time..win martin and 4

Posted by natron on January 10, 2017 at 01:24 PM

nice tilt

Posted by Daysofcoleco on January 07, 2017 at 09:35 PM

Martin flicks Farmhand away like the gnat he is. Then engages McCarron in a controlled low animosity fight. We say it again and again - revenge is a dish best served after you win the damn fight.

Super bagarre pour le jeune 💪

great tilt. long bout. Martin with the win.

Posted by Mounty in NC on January 08, 2017 at 07:19 AM

McCarron landed a few but Martin landed more and controlled the fight. Martin and a 4

Every time a hab fights I can just see them clutching their Chris Nilan jerseys hoping for the good old days;well 0/2 on the same line, keep clutching hab fans.

Posted by mtlbulldawg on January 08, 2017 at 07:50 PM

Great fight. Martin a little too much experience, but once again love McCarron's heart.

Posted by arabhata on January 07, 2017 at 08:57 PM

After watching Maroon hold onto Chara for dear life, I've gained back a lil respect for Martin who looked scared. Nice lengthy scrap, gave it to Martin.

Posted by SidKid87 on January 10, 2017 at 07:45 PM

Martin with ease...

Posted by vinnyp1211 on January 12, 2017 at 11:36 PM

Love the helmet pats after the linesmen brike up the fight. Probably my favorite thing to see in hockey fights.

Posted by Jesticle on January 09, 2017 at 04:18 AM

McCarron with the jabs were the only punches to connect. Matt Martin is a big dumbo.

Posted by joedog on January 07, 2017 at 11:11 PM

Martin lays out petry with a hit...then lays out Farnham out front coming in to act tough...then locks up Mccarran(bubble head) Martin just kept throwing rights at will as McCaron held on for the ride...Win Martin yet it often appeared Martin took it easy on him even after landing Many rights. Kinda like a one way sparing partner. BADCOCK HOCKEY is soft boring euro hockey..Martin needs to get out of there back to the Island. HOOK YA GOTTA BE A MTL FAN...POINTS?..the only points he got was the pointers Martin gave him

2 habs, 2 losses, its sad to watch. Montreal could not intimidate my little sister. They better get some size soon, or it will be another quick exit. P.S. My little sister is on a womans team, so sorry habs fans she cannot join in time for the playoffs. P.S. Who the heck voted mccarron ?? Maybe he has a little sister too !

Posted by Bones5 on January 08, 2017 at 02:18 PM

Nice evenly matched tilt at the ol' ACC.

Posted by boldbilly on January 08, 2017 at 07:36 AM

Good heavy weight scrap here ....a lot of back and forth and then Martin takes over with a series of unanswered rights to take the win....nothing major or big landed by either guy most were glancing helmet shots..I liked the gamesmanship as tap one another at the end There was nothing wrong with the hit and no reason to start a fight at that time and risk a momentum shift, the habs were well in control of the game at that time ....ill advised move by Farnham ......the only good thing is that Mcarron did okay against a very legit heavyweight .....the habs need more of this pushback .... Win for Martin and scored it at 6

Posted by TheHook on January 07, 2017 at 10:15 PM

McCarron on points against a legit heavyweight
