Wrathchild showing proper intent for the payback but got there a smidge too late to remove any body parts... look for the beatdown in the reg. season after Radko sits a few games for that 'window washing' he put on Vesey... (wasn't really a fight, but..) #6 FTW

There are two things I absolutely love about this particular incident. One: It wasn't a fight. Mac pulled Gudas out of the pile and started punching him. Gudas never dropped his gloves and just tried to hide behind Voracek, who as a good teammate grabbed Mac immediately. Two: Some of you voted Gudas as having WON this non fight. Hahaha. I guess that's about the Flyers fan margin of error: 15%. BTW, if this was a fight, why no third man in penalty? Honestly should have been 5 and a game for Gudas for his customary cowardly hit from behind on the rookie Vesey, and 4 min roughing for Mac. That's it. BTW, Simmonds shutting people up? How, by bleeding on them? I thought Simmonds did alright in that fight against McIlrath, landed a good punch, stepped up and didn't die, but Mac opened him up and the zebras had to step in and save him after he was relieved of his helmet. But then again, some of you think GUDAS won this one so...

Radko Gudas is a coward.

Love all these trolls talking tough with McIlrath. Werent these the same people who were talking smack last year until Simmons shut them up ?

McIirath gets the win since only he threw before they hit the ice. Doubt any landed.

Welcome to the NHL, kid! lol

Gudas is a dirty player. I would have liked to see Dylan lay into him.

Vesey turned, stupidly, his back on Gudas at the last second. Of course, Rangers announcers, it looks lie Gudas should have stopped WHEN YOU ARE WATCHING THE REPLAY IN SLOW MOTION! Welcome to the NHL Vesey. Learn how to protect yourself.

i have no doubt that mcilrath would beat gudas but this was no fight

Posted by ferdip on October 05, 2016 at 07:29 PM

McIlrath did what he was supposed to do in going after Gudas gave another cheap shot. McIlrath even got in about five good shots with a player holding him - great job

If Gudas is suspended, the undertaker will get his revenge in the regular season the night after Thanksgiving. If not we may have some fun on Thursday.

Keep yer head up kid,.... Great hit, and again, a nothing fight, Rangers keep getting smaller and smaller, on the decline without a cup again. I cup since Hitler invaded Poland, Hahahahahahahaha. Who's the undertaker,?? Mcilwrath the AHLer ??? Simmonds ??? huh, compare a 30 goal scorer who makes a few mill a year to.....Dylan Mcsomething ??? he is irrelevant, just like the rangers next 5 seasons. I think I will watch the replay of the hit again,...and again,... and again ....hahahahahahahaha.

von swine has this one covered.

Garbage hit. Gudas was looking at the back of his shoulders the entire time.

Posted by TrueBlue16 on October 04, 2016 at 10:57 PM

Bout of the year! Real toe to toe...but where's the 3rd man in penalty...shoulda honestly just been roughing minors at best

Posted by MICHYS on October 04, 2016 at 07:58 AM

Oh well, you have to aware anytime is Gudas on the ice. He will hit anyone and anything around him, especially young players should keep it they minds. How this would end up when Stevens, Marchment, Pronger or Hatcher were on the ice? Just the same, get use to it.

Vesey learned a valuable lesson about turning your back on Gudas. What the hell was Stephan doing? He should be ashamed of himself! Good on McIrath to go after Gudas so he wins I guess.

Rangers blow

Posted by REALSALES on October 03, 2016 at 10:57 PM

UNDERTAKER, took names & numbers, 2 Flyers ( Gudas & the other weasel who was the 3rd man in) will be paid back in SPADES when the next time we meet! Rangers are a SOFT TEAM, if Mcllrath is not a regular top 6 Dman when the regular season starts?, then the coach AV needs his head examined!! They will be bullied out of the league!!!!

Posted by danmcd888 on October 03, 2016 at 11:09 PM

Gudas is a cheapshot artist, lucky that ginger got in the way or McIlrath would have activated his dental plan.

Posted by johnnyrock555 on October 04, 2016 at 08:16 PM

That was not a fight. Horses a55 Ranger fans will say that McIlrath was going to beat Gudas but I doubt that. Hopefully during the season McIlrath will challenge Gudas from the front instead of grabbing him from behind.

Posted by paddyd on October 04, 2016 at 02:14 PM

Gudas, give me a break what a useless goon. Knows nothing about the game just skates trying to take people out.

Posted by Great Murray on October 04, 2016 at 09:01 AM

Another total BS hit by Gudas...should be worth 10 games this time. Were there really two dim bulbs that voted for Gudas? Vorocek saves Gudas from a pounding which will come later. Bettman sucks...this is mostly his fault. Blow off the instigator + 10. Anyone taking liberties becomes eligible for an ass whipping. As for McIlrath and Simmonds; McIIrath got the win in that FOY candidate despite the Obamaesque ballot box stuffing by Philly fans. His team also won the game as Simmonds was a non-factor after the fight. I doubt Simmonds will step for Gudas when the hammer falls...I suspect Simmonds has no use for the fat azz and his moronic play and I doubt he wants anymore of McIIrath. Proving he can hang in there and not get knocked out doesn't help his team at all.
