Hey... remember when Prust wasn't a boring fighter? Yeah... me neither

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on October 17, 2015 at 11:59 PM

Stoner must have shared some bud with Prust before this half baked bout.

Posted by filthynumber1 on October 13, 2015 at 02:51 AM

Use to enjoy prusts fights. Back when he was in Calgary fighting Rick rypien (rip) he was fun to watch. Nowadays, not so much. Just terrible, spin and pull. All he does, with the occasionally fliggin right hand with his head turned away so he doesn't risk cutting his pretty face. He prolly should just retire while he still can and maybe sign up for GQ magazine

Prust has become none existing the last couple years. He just wants to spin and hug.

Hummmmm

Posted by FaxCap on October 13, 2015 at 12:30 PM

Draw....Prust gave up height and weight but held his own....as usual.

Posted by mudman55 on October 14, 2015 at 11:58 AM

Prust should get 10 minutes every time he fights. No fan should be subjected to this. I used to respect the technique. Now I sweat the technique.

6 or 7 for flailing away like a threshing machine. 2 for skating like crap! 1 for absolutely not landing 1 punch! 3 Draw

Bring Prusty back in #MTL

Posted by jcholmes on October 14, 2015 at 06:23 AM

That was not a Stoner Groove, my man.

Posted by xtraread on October 19, 2015 at 10:36 PM

always the smaller guy here prust gave up 4 inches so in my good book I have to go with the smaller guy a good5-6

Posted by claire alexande on October 19, 2015 at 03:40 PM

To his shame, Stoner is unable to break through the hang-on-for-dear-life defence to which Scott Caan's stunt double has been reduced.

Posted by slambo on October 13, 2015 at 06:56 AM

whine about Prust all you want, but he is always fighting bigger guys, and usually wins. Stoner is a tough dude, normally he would whip anybody smaller than him, but Prust uses the old jerk off technique brilliantly, and manages to keep from getting ejaculated...

Posted by Humper on October 13, 2015 at 01:38 PM

Much ado about nothing, or close to it.

Posted by kkdowning on October 13, 2015 at 02:21 PM

Man that was awkward. Stoner trying to throw punches and Prust trying to rag-doll Stoner in falling to the ice??? Not one for the ages.

People who complain about any fighter or their style nowadays are simply clueless! Draw and just happy to see a the ever-increasingly rare scrap.

yuck

Posted by DARCY T on October 15, 2015 at 11:33 AM

stoner got size advantage but thats a draw...not very entertaining though

Posted by von_swine on October 13, 2015 at 06:05 AM

one guy channels his inner Sestito (dude in white), while the other guy channels his inner Jackman (dude in black) for a very ineffective display of 'team pride'... did this tilt help or hurt the 'rivalry'?.. I can't tell... no winner here, not even us clowns trying to save it with witty barbs.. -D-

Stoner tries to solve the enigma that is Prust with sheer aggressive intent and finds out - like many heavies - that he doesn't have the answer either. Draw and a 5, a fight which lacks in connections but is replete with examples of tactical defense.

Both guys were pretty active, it just didn't end in a lot of quality lands. Good scrap from two willing participants all things considered.

When will the league realize fans don't come to watch the lines men.....get involved in the game......unless it is a really bad situation.....STAY THE HELL OUT OF IT.........

Giving the nod to a fellow partaker in herbal inspiration

Edge to Stoner here as he landed a few. Prust with his usual jersey pulling escapades did not help him much here.

Posted by Gunslinger on October 14, 2015 at 09:14 AM

Its debatable how many games the Canucks win this year but with Dorsett and Prust they should at least be entertaining.

Posted by Jesticle on October 13, 2015 at 02:43 PM

Prust is the superior tactician in a spirited tug of duck.

Posted by tgeiger on October 13, 2015 at 05:02 PM

Not much to review.

Posted by bigmike53 on October 12, 2015 at 11:39 PM

Between the bad cases of Bambi legs and all the hugging and spinning, this didn't amount to much. Draw.

Posted by tpr1960 on October 13, 2015 at 05:25 PM

Prust retire, please. How many teams are ya gonna play for?

Posted by EK65 on October 13, 2015 at 11:28 AM

Long tactical fight, (which usually aren't the most entertaining) Nobody really had the edge Figured this game might have more than just this fight. Draw & 3 Props to both guys though who will probably be near the top of fighting majors this year

Posted by boldbilly on October 13, 2015 at 04:26 AM

Have to go draw here huge size difference Not sure why all the negative for Prust here he plies his trade with courage taking on all comers regardless of who..... Loved him in Calgary , New York,Montreal and now Vancouver........oh and as a bonus he won't hurt you as he can actually play the game Not much lands by either called it a 4 and a draw

Reeferman1967 wins the Internet today.

Posted by MichaelFlyers37 on October 12, 2015 at 10:57 PM

I'd give Stoner the edge here. More on the attack and his last name is stoner. Good day gentlemen
