That's what I call an Iggy Pop.

Posted by hizzy4shizzy on April 02, 2014 at 06:25 PM

Surprised to see this many people voted for Rinaldo even though it was pretty clear. Let's see: Visor - no Iginla wears one and Rinaldo doesn't, can't use that one. Rinaldo dropped gloves and went after Iginal before he had a chance to get started, no Iginal actually went after Rinaldo. I got it, I got it, if the linesman hadn't broken up the fight Iginla would have beaten Rinaldo to a pulp, so we'll give the win to Iginla

Posted by letsdance24 on March 30, 2014 at 02:38 PM

Not a Rinaldo at all, but he dominated Iggy with hit and a couple big rights. Anyone that voted draw or Iggy should be banned from site..

Posted by brownie21 on March 30, 2014 at 03:04 PM

Who voted for Iggy, his mom? C'mon ALL Rinaldo, like him or not.

Posted by staceyb on March 30, 2014 at 03:07 PM

Iggy got knocked on his boo-boo--two times, one by check, the other by fist.

Posted by bigmike53 on March 30, 2014 at 02:30 PM

Great hit by Rinaldo! Iggy objects and takes a beating in the process. Win for Rinaldo.

Posted by bfox9 on March 30, 2014 at 02:16 PM

The liney coming in saved Iginla from taking three more in a row. Iginla never got a punch off and got stung hard.

Posted by plaverty on March 31, 2014 at 12:50 PM

I'm a Bruins homer and there's no question that Rinaldo won that fight. Also, the hit was perfectly clean. It was good, tough hockey. My only criticism is the linemen didn't let Iginla back into it. He got dropped but popped right back up again. Give him a shot there. Iggy wasn't done, let him try to earn something back.

Posted by orangecuse on April 01, 2014 at 08:05 PM

Tired of seeing players getting hit clean then want to fight. Whatever happened to looking to get back at Rinaldo with a big hit later in the game. Rinaldo schooled Iginla in this one not even close.

Posted by trowley on March 31, 2014 at 11:44 AM

typical Julien reaction.. bruin gets hit with clean check bruin gets dominated in fight.... julien complains to ref..

Posted by Your Momma on March 30, 2014 at 03:49 PM

I will play that over and over again - it is a wonderful thing to see a Bruin beat to crap! Remind me of Thornton...

Posted by MeatPlow on March 30, 2014 at 02:44 PM

did you see Lucic skate thru and try to disrupt Rinaldo? wasn't effective enough as Iginla bit off a younger and tougher opponent.

Posted by Lupac on March 30, 2014 at 02:30 PM

Rinaldo got the jump here after a great legal hit. I wish it wasn't Iginla as he is sure hall of famer, but he wanted the fight and the youngster caught him good. Sometimes I wish King of Goons would take a punch from Rinaldo. Biggest schlong here man

Posted by GoonVisor on March 31, 2014 at 03:27 PM

I think Iggy took 3 solid and 2 grazers for a lopsided beating. This fight does not showcase Iggy's toughness at all.

Posted by kelly09 on March 30, 2014 at 06:27 PM

Rinaldo with first win in a long time. If you are going to start a fight you better be ready and Iggy wasn't. Linesmen jumped in too quick, It looks like Iggy had finally gotten some control of Rinaldo's right and had his right free, could have turned into a real slugfest.

Posted by xrayspex on March 30, 2014 at 02:14 PM

Rinaldo with the W. May have been different had the zebras let Iggy resume the fight after getting back to his feet.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on April 16, 2014 at 11:29 PM

Rinaldo kicked Iginlas ass twice on one play... Gotta love it.

Posted by flamesblackace on March 31, 2014 at 02:03 PM

I think Rinaldo is lucky the Linesman jumped in... An angry Iggy is still a BEAST... the Flyers a punks and are going to show it in the first round exit once again

Posted by The Mob on April 05, 2014 at 09:46 AM

Anyone who goes after a star player for Boston is stupid, just plain dumb, on something, or all of the above. Rinaldo is gonna get what he has coming to him tonight. Philly management this all you have to offer your high paying fans?

Posted by sedinfan on March 30, 2014 at 02:43 PM

The hall of famer looked stunned from the hit as he wasnt ready to fight. It looks like Iggy got some sympathy votes.

Posted by caperick on March 30, 2014 at 11:40 PM

Rinaldo jumped Iginla at the beginning, and caught him off balance. Good job by Rinaldo, but he chickened out later when Thornton came a callin'.

Posted by whaleoil on March 30, 2014 at 02:33 PM

Iggy must have said something really #@#$#$ as Zac looked extremely pissed off......looked like a clean hit to me. The big question is why would someone give Iggy the win in this scrap? He was clearly not ready to go (a bit of a rookie move IMO) and didn't even throw a punch!

Posted by Jordybats99 on December 30, 2015 at 06:32 PM

Refs Came in to early. But Rinaldo Stung Iginla with a couple. Rinaldo Wins.

Posted by hal29 on March 30, 2014 at 04:40 PM

Win for Reinaldo bit no heavy punches that I seen. I see ribaldo get his gloves off be iginla has the chance. But that is iginla's fault, he should know better. Win for Reinaldo and a 4 at best.

Posted by bushguy on March 30, 2014 at 08:30 PM

Obvious win for rinaldo, but for those that want to just bash the best team in the NHL, ask the players. Lucic was voted, by his peers, to be the toughest player in the NHL last year. To whomever leans on Chris Nilans yapping on a radio program, I love Knuckles spirit, but he's taken a few too many punches to the head and hits of Oxy to really be taken too seriously.

Posted by Sasky001 on March 31, 2014 at 10:54 AM

Rinlado would win a lot more fights if he stuck to soccer.

Posted by tpr1960 on March 31, 2014 at 05:34 PM

AWESOME HIT, LEGAL HIT, and he cleans Iginlas clock. Love It. Wonder what them faggity Boston announcers had to say bout that ! hahahahahahahahaha

' Is there a problem with my computer or is it the site with these time-lapse photos? Rinaldo, winner '

Posted by riffraff on March 30, 2014 at 07:03 PM

One of the most one sided beatings short of a ko ive seen in a while. Love Iggy and respect what he has done did and does but youch he got destroyed by a younger tough guy in Rinaldo. A response was required.

Posted by Jellyczar on March 30, 2014 at 05:16 PM

Rinaldo wins decisively.... But that dude has more nervous twitches and flinches that Eddie Johnstone.... whoa

Posted by rocky 1 on March 30, 2014 at 05:16 PM

Advice for Jarome if your going to call a guy out you better be ready!jarome takes a shit kicking in this one!

Posted by slavv on March 31, 2014 at 01:39 PM

As much as I wanted to see Rinaldo get his ass beat, It didn't happen. Iginla got upset after getting hit with a rare clean check by Rinaldo. He then challenged Rinaldo and took several quick shots that dropped him in embarrassing fashion....

Posted by mmadced on March 30, 2014 at 06:19 PM

gustitis let me explain it to you, rinaldo is notorious for the art of the late hit and usually to a player he can beat in a fight. didn't see him run looch or thornton or chara all nite. wonder why????? hes a cheap shot spot picking punk Also thornton challenged him in the nd period and he declined

Posted by DanHalen on April 04, 2014 at 10:12 PM

The NHL needs to hand out suspensions to anyone starting a fight for reasons like this one. If you can't take a hit go play in a garage league. I have always liked Iginla but to start a fight like that is idiotic. He got what he deserved this time.

Posted by hardcase on March 30, 2014 at 04:16 PM

Iggy just got schooled by a 160lb punk

Posted by dontpokeTheBear on April 07, 2014 at 07:55 PM

Inginla with a rare loss due to the linesmen jumping in too soon. Anybody worth their salt on this site knows that Jarome would bury this bug all day, everyday and twice on Sundays.

Posted by jacmaxt2 on April 06, 2014 at 03:23 PM

Posted by Fullcontact on March 30, 2014 at 04:04 PM

As much as I dislike Rinaldo, this was pretty one sided. Figured Iggy would have been ready considering he was looking for it.

Posted by Bulldog1029 on April 22, 2014 at 12:58 PM

Rinaldo gets the best of Jerome here... Only because he bull rushes him.

Posted by English_Bruin on March 31, 2014 at 05:48 AM

Lets be honest here briuns brothers... Iggy got tuned like a cheap guitar. Hope he gets Rinaldo next time!

Posted by the kid 61 on March 31, 2014 at 10:55 AM

I wish the ref didn't step in to save Iginla from a beating. That said, Rinaldo should have gone over to that baldhead yapper Mcguire and given a crack on his dome. That guys annoying.

Posted by morecowbell on March 30, 2014 at 03:56 PM

Iginla agreed to fight Rinaldo, until he got a call from Sidney. Then he decided to go to Pittsburgh instead.

Posted by keithh85 on March 30, 2014 at 03:05 PM

Best Flyers beat down I've seen in a while. Sucks that it was Iginla. He is a great player that played for a crap team most of his career. He got JAWJACKED. I can't believe he didn't get KO'd honestly.....

Posted by topher on March 30, 2014 at 02:25 PM

Clear win for Rinaldo after a nice clean hit on Iginla, Krejci, and Devorski.

Posted by BennyD on April 01, 2014 at 01:05 PM

Great hit. Rinaldo with the obvious win. But, if it would've continued like Iginla was hoping, I think it would have turned out much different. Truly believe that iginla was ready, willing, and able to finish strong.

Posted by ckm3028 on March 31, 2014 at 08:44 PM

Jack Edwards had it Iginla all the way, even as he was on his way down.

Posted by dcmac on March 31, 2014 at 01:12 PM

Not a wise move by Iginla with the playoffs coming up. His bell was already rung by the hit. Not sure if those punches were clean or deflected by the visor. But anyway one looks at it Iginla got a beatdown. Have the feeling Rinaldo is going to have a different dance partner next time around.

Posted by BooSanta on March 31, 2014 at 09:29 PM

Think of it like a fight in Mike Tyson's Punchout NES videogame, in which "Little Zac" throws some bombs to floor "Glass Jarome", then the zeeb Mario comes in for the 8 count. Tough for me and lots of fight fans seeing a universal favorite skill/tough guy like Iggy crumble like that, but in all fairness, the Zac attack plays a gritty clean game and will scrap if he must.

Posted by chrisuko on March 30, 2014 at 09:27 PM

It's a shame they didn't get any better angles. Good fight and a better hit. The more I watch it, the more I realize how nice that one punch was to Iginlas jaw. Iginla looks dead for about two seconds. I don't know how he got up

Posted by endor on March 31, 2014 at 10:59 AM

Rinaldo! Have NEVER seen Iginla get his ass kicked like that before.

Posted by knnite on April 06, 2014 at 11:40 PM

I hate Rinaldo, a number checker, but poor old Iggy wrote a cheque he couldn't cash on this one.....Rinaldo didn't even want to go when he saw who it was but Iggy pressed the issue unfortunately he pressed his mug against Rinaldo's hammer.

Posted by Bruins170 on March 30, 2014 at 03:20 PM

Iginlia was caught off balance by the aggressive response by Rinaldo. Think he wanted a square off. Either way this kid is tough. As Iginlia is usually not handled like that. Win Rinaldo. Not even close.

Posted by phillybully on March 30, 2014 at 05:26 PM

I love it. Iginla takes massive clean hit and then gets tagged. He's too old for that stuff.

Posted by nhlofficialsblo on March 31, 2014 at 09:29 AM

Hate Rinaldo. Hate the Bruins. All Rinaldo after Cher decides he wants his arse beat following a fine body check. Two hero linesmen decide they are the show and jump in prematurely. I hate these zebra jerk offs. Linesman 54 is a gonad. Did I mention that NHL officials blow?

Posted by wildcon on March 31, 2014 at 09:03 AM

Great hit

Posted by BellBoy402 on March 30, 2014 at 06:50 PM

Ill give Iginla this, not many can get a Rinaldo-rocket right in the face and continue to function let alone try to keep fighting. As a Flyers fan, the only reason we have Rinaldo is for his forecheck and for this reason demonstrated above.

Posted by elevesque001 on March 30, 2014 at 06:27 PM

Eat that Iginla! the smallest fighter in the league puts you on your behind ahah. A rare defeat by a Boston fighter

Posted by hkhk on March 30, 2014 at 02:53 PM

Posted by boldbilly on March 30, 2014 at 04:31 PM

Once again a Bruin doesn't take a clean check.....this time he gets his arrogant ass kicked .....still laughing.........just like lucic who couldn't take the clean hit from Emelin and has his bum buddy Chara go after him.....and then calls Emelin a chicken in the media.......DOUBLE STANDARD ? Funny thing Chris Nilan who knows a thing or two about fighting was on his radio program talking about Lucic's classless Emelin comments..... and what a big classless chicken HE was for running from Laraque for all those years.....imagine a Boston native not afraid to tell it like it is...... EASY WIN FOR RINALDO......STILL LAUGHING

Posted by simdt on April 02, 2014 at 12:17 AM

Iginla you're too old it's time to retire!

Posted by irishdefense on November 05, 2014 at 02:09 PM

Wow Iginla dominated from start to finish.

Posted by arcadegm on March 31, 2014 at 01:54 PM

Wow, I had to read a couple of pages of comments to see who the heck was voting for Iggy. Are you kidding me? He was out on his skates for a second there, got POPPED by Rhino. All the BOS fans defending IGGY that he needs to take a couple of hits, has obviously never watched Rinaldo fight. If ref didn't step in, Iggy would have gotten destroyed. Rhino is the beast, he hits hard and fast.

I don't know how this is not a 100% win by Rinaldo on this board. just goes to show you sometimes just take the hit and skate away.

Posted by davebrown21 on April 01, 2014 at 01:06 PM

would have liked to hear that assclown jack edwards call that one. im sure he would have somehow made iginla sound like the winner or made rinaldo a dirty player.

Posted by goonsquad1 on March 30, 2014 at 03:30 PM

Rinaldo wins easy. They should've let them fight after iggy got up.

Posted by npa312 on April 08, 2014 at 04:45 PM

Iginla takes a hard, clean hit and decides to step up for himself which you have to respect especially because the guy's almost 37. Rinaldo procedes to clobber Iginla, mostly because he landed an early right and Iginla wasn't able to get his balance back. Rinaldo is the clear victor. Respect to Rinaldo, he's a tough strong kid Still, even though he can hit with the heavyweights, he can't yet fight with them. Honestly, I understand when Hab's players get a few votes even when they get demolished but B's fans don't have to bother with that crap, they win plenty of good fights; Thorton trounced Rinaldo a year or two ago. Voting anything but for Rinaldo is just trolling. I'm guessing it's Hab's fans, trying to make it seem like other people would stoop to their level :D

Posted by kkdowning on March 30, 2014 at 07:51 PM

No, no, no!! that is not the way it so supposed to happen. Iggy was supposed to slap Rinaldo around and teach him a lesson. Instead, Iginla got dropped. It seems that there is no justice in the world.

Posted by grrbronco81 on March 31, 2014 at 02:46 PM

Iginla got the doubleheader.........Nailed with the hit and the punch.

Posted by iralustmanHF on March 30, 2014 at 11:58 PM

would have like to see this go longer, rinaldo landed a nice shot and iginla had nothing

Posted by Biggus on March 31, 2014 at 10:16 AM

Rinaldo levels Iggy with a couple of solid rights. I think the zebra were right to step in when they did.

Posted by anthrojim on April 01, 2014 at 01:45 PM

I love a good fight, but am getting sick of the 'obligatory' fight after a good, clean check. Iginla should have accepted that check and avoided getting embarrassed when Rinaldo turned him in to a human punching bag.

Posted by Gustis on March 30, 2014 at 04:24 PM

Love Iginla but to say he would have even had a CHANCE if the refs didn't break it up is ridiculous. He was getting completely destroyed even after he instigated and got popped and knocked down. If the refs didn't break it up he's still on the ground trying to get up, there's no chance for him, stop giving dumb reasons to try and discredit Rinaldo for an excellent hit and fight win. I'm aware Iginla can fight too, but let's be logical here. P.S. Rinaldo hits, fights, works hard and brings so much energy every shift. You'd think for a hockey fight website there would be absolutely no reason for a player of his characteristic to even remotely be hated. I don't understand it .

Posted by Oggie81 on March 30, 2014 at 02:19 PM

Rinaldo destroyed Iginla

Posted by The Mad House on March 30, 2014 at 02:50 PM

Good for Iggy standing up for himself after the great, clean check But unfortunately, the future hall of famer was tragically outgunned in this one Gotta imagine there will be a few Bruins going at Giroux, and probably Rinaldo later in this game

Posted by DARCY T on March 30, 2014 at 05:28 PM

rinaldo landed one right to start the fight and then rag-dolled iginla a bit but linesmen stepped to early imo.all them comments about beating made me shake my head and i dont know about that "right on the button" call by announcer.might be homer glasses...edge rinaldo in a crap fight.gave it a 3

Posted by Canvasback on March 30, 2014 at 03:50 PM

Easy boys, Zac did win but the zebras jump in before Iggy could get back in it. I love the fights but this trend of having to throw'em after a hard legal check is weak. Pound for pound Zac could be the toughest fighter in the league. Love to see him in a Bruins sweater.

Posted by Boston Garden on March 31, 2014 at 12:23 AM

To nobody's surprise Rinaldo turned down Thornton later in the game. Spot picker.

Posted by 3-26-97 on April 01, 2014 at 02:42 PM

I'm not a huge fan of either guy but I don't really see why this fight is getting the relatively high marks and decisive win for Rinaldo... was really quick and it didn't look like Iginla was ready for it and the stripes broke it up right when Iginla looked to get his footing and was about to start throwing some counters. Draw/4

Posted by nait on March 30, 2014 at 04:53 PM

Iginla is a second sage fighter. Hit him "on the button" and step back as he gets pssed and really fights

Posted by fight-fan on March 30, 2014 at 05:27 PM

Iggy late to the party here as he initiates it, but lets Rinaldo get the jump on him. Obvious win for Rinaldo that connects with a couple of quick ones that stun Iginla. Hardly a TKO like I'm seeing in the reviews, Iggy popped right back up & wanted to keep going. All teams fight after clean hits & there will always be people voting for their home teams rather than the winners. The voting isn't going to change just because people keep asking "How can anyone vote for......." ? Also, the constant whining about fighting after a clean hit just because people don't like the team is old. Then not commenting & holding their team to the same standards when they do the same thing shows they just use the hit as an excuse to whine about a team they don't like.

Posted by Humper on March 30, 2014 at 04:51 PM

Pains me to admit it, but that POS Rinaldo took care of Iggy, no problemo.

Posted by sullyinma on March 30, 2014 at 02:21 PM

It was a clean hit. What is Iggy's problem?

Posted by randyv on March 31, 2014 at 08:13 AM

iggys getting old? maybe. got his ass wooped in this one. too bad cause i wouldve liked two have seen zac eat a few.

Posted by flyerguy on March 31, 2014 at 07:43 AM

@GSP09 Put the crack pipe down goofball. BLINDSIDED? Do you know anything about hockey? I doubt it!!!

Posted by King of Goons on March 30, 2014 at 08:13 PM

Zac Rinaldo, who usually carries himself like a classless punk, completely embarrasses Iggy here. First he crushes him with a beautiful hit that takes out two Bruins. Then, after Iginla initiates the fight, Rinaldo unloads a flurry of punches to Iggy's face until one lands right on the button and drops him like a bad habit. I guess the visor didn't save Ignat much from getting TKO'd and completely humiliated. Easy, dominant, TKO win for Zac Rinaldo over another guy who needs to take off his girlie face shield if he ever wants to be respected as a tough guy.

Posted by NoSlackDelta on March 31, 2014 at 10:00 AM

Zac with the decisive win. Iggy didn't know what hit him.

Posted by rgnomsayin on December 23, 2016 at 01:33 AM

Man, it never ceases to amaze me how people will still vote for the clear loser just because he plays for their favourite team. Do you clowns really think these players give a fuck that you voted for them? I'm a die hard flyers fan, but when a flyer loses a fight I vote accordingly. These are grown ass men, they know when they lose a fight and they know why they lost it,

Posted by mr. puttzo on March 30, 2014 at 03:20 PM

Posted by canamrugby on March 30, 2014 at 06:39 PM

Iginala showing he can still score but he isn't much of a fighter any more; leave the nasty stuff for the young guys Iggy.

Posted by toy boy dan on March 31, 2014 at 09:45 AM

Jarome is having a very good year scoring and the Bs can't afford to let him get hurt. However he bit off more the he could chew picking a fight with the much younger guy like Rinaldo. Leave the fighting to the younger guys, especially this time of year. Rinaldo clear domination.

Posted by Fighting101 on March 31, 2014 at 09:30 AM

The excuses for Iginla are amusing. I can see the tears streaming down their faces as they type. Rinaldo won, get over it. Everyone loses sometime.... this time is was Iginla.

Only Jack Edwards could've voted for Iginla in this one. Big hit and a big right from little Rinaldo.

Posted by kinga101 on March 30, 2014 at 03:38 PM

Once again the big tough Bruins aren't man enough to take a clean hit. Iginla mouthed off and immediately got shut up by Rinaldo's rights. The mentally challenged voters for Iginla need serious further evaluation.

Posted by darjr26 on March 30, 2014 at 09:24 PM

Would have been nice if they had gone a little longer. Rinaldo smart to quit while he was ahead.

Posted by Great Murray on March 31, 2014 at 07:55 AM

Let's see if we can accurately score this confrontation? Jerome gets smoked by a clean hit that takes out 2 Bruins - Win Rinaldo! Jerome asks for a fight, gets it and gets creamed - Win Rinaldo! Jerome (3rd best Bruin) and Rinaldo (4th line grinder) off for 5 - Win Rinaldo! SO TELL US ALL HOW EVEN ONE OF YOU CAN VOTE FOR ANYTHING BUT A CLEAR DECISIVE WIN FOR ZAC RINALDO! You must be like that CNN guy, Chris Matthews. Your leg tingles when Iggy is around eh? That's OK...but move from Boston to Provincetown and stay the hell off this site!!!

Posted by Massive Coiler on March 30, 2014 at 07:00 PM

Iginla should have just walked away from that beating. I wouldn't call Rinaldo my favourite player, but it's good to see someone stand up and win a fight defending their own hit.

Posted by devilsadvocate on March 30, 2014 at 03:51 PM

Total domination by Rinaldo. As classy as he is off the ice, Iginla can be a cheap, yapper on the ice.

Posted by BeakInc_v.2 on March 30, 2014 at 02:52 PM

Iggy got pissed off from a clean hit, Rinaldo answered with some nasty punches and shut him up.

Posted by Hilaker on March 30, 2014 at 03:25 PM

Rinaldo let Iginla munch on some fist sandwiches. Nice clean hit, nicer clean win in the fight. Not often does Iginla get owned in a fair fight. He is one tough middle weight. A no doubter win for Zac. I wonder how Edwards put a Bruin spin on this beat down.

Posted by billybpaul on March 31, 2014 at 12:02 AM

to say that the refs jumped in to quit and Iginla could`ve done some damage reminds me of a kid that was in a fight one time and he was yelling" get this guy off of me before I kill him" and I don`t agree with ppl saying that only a bruins fan would vote for Iginla because they vote with there brains instead of there hearts .... impossible , a bruins fan has neither not an option

For a guy who started chirping first, you'd think Iginla would've been more ready to go, much less throw a punch.

Maybe the best fight of Rinaldo's career....

Posted by indian point 4 on March 30, 2014 at 02:57 PM

awww ignina cant take a clean hit and then pays the price as rinaldo rocks his world right on the chin then the linemen jumps in too quick as a dazed iggy would have continued to get pounded.

That couldn't have gone any better. Iginla wanted this after getting freight trained by Zac, another Bruin who thinks he's above getting hit, and Zac TKO's him to boot. The retard Bruin fans just discussing the "win" by trick shots. Typical.

Much to my dismay, Francesca Rinaldi does everything correctly... Nice clean hit, gets position & the jump on Iggy, and lands a couple flush ones. Iggy may have been stunned, but I think the zebras jumped in too quickly... No way around it, clear (W) for the Pasta Sauce.... Let's see if the B's stir something up in the 3rd...

Iginla objects to a clean Rinaldo hit, then takes a series on rights to the face when he tries to make his point. Easy win here for Rinaldo.

Iginla bit off more than he could chew here... great trade off for philly, and good job by rinaldo, doing his job, getting the other team's star off his game and in the box for 5, probably with a sore chin to boot win rinaldo

rinaldo dropped iggy like a bad habit. how could anyone vote for iggy? that is ridiculous. don't start what you cant finish.

Great hit by Rinaldo! Three in a row, Iggy, Krejci nad linesman. Then he destroyed Iggy.

I give the win to Iggy for not doing the Turtle. Like a certain #74 and #76 on a so called hockey team in the same division.

shocked RINALDO won a fight .more shocked he beat a good fighter like IGGI .if there were no refs and that kept going i think RINALDO would have been left in a pool of blood though

Posted by trubba on March 30, 2014 at 02:30 PM

Although Rinaldo clearly got the better of that one, Iginla wasn't done and I think Rinaldo probably lucky that the linesman stepped in. Iggy fights best when he is pissed off.

I have no idea why people are trolling voting for Iginla. He got mauled and was KO'd for a few by a blow from Rinny.

No time for J Iginla to even know if there was going to be a fight. His mistake and he has a right hook to the head as a memory of the most basic of all lessons. BE AWARE AT ALL TIMES ON THE ICE!

Garbage fight. Rinaldo caught Iggy with head down and popped him good. Clean hit that Iginla didn't see coming and took exception to. It's too bad that the refs stopped it after one punch, usually Iggy needs to take a punch or two to get going and then he's a beast. I'd love to see a rematch there, I think Iggy could own him.

Tough&quick loss 4 Zac Morris

I'm not a Bruins or Flyers fan, but I think Rinaldo's hit was a cheap blindsided shot on a 30 goal scorer with a lot of class. I would've applauded if he would have done this on one the many cheapshots artists in Boston, but not Iginla . How many goals does Ronaldo have?
