Brookbank is a tough guy but Borts obviously ate his Wheaties before the game.

Give cudos to Brookbank for standing in for his star player.Problem is he lost the fight!

I think Bortuzzo was prepared for the fight after the hit on Kane. Brookbank jumped in as he was on the ice without preparation. But did his job.

That was a good fight. Bortuzzo was aggressive during his shift and then took it to Brookbank in a spirited scrap.

I love to see Kane get smoked. Brookbank tried to step up and failed. W to Bortuzzo.

You pretty much know who lost the fight, when the home team broadcaster reminds the viewing audience that "part of the job" is to show up...

props for sticking up for your teammate, even if it is kane, but you have to better than that in the fight.

Not a fan of Bortuzzo, but he takes the win

surprisingly bortuzzo was more active but most of his rights came short...draw

Looks like Bortuzzo may have aspirations as the replacement for Engelland. We'll see.

The youngster Bortuzzo (4th NHL Bout) stepped up to the veteran Brookbank (46th NHL Bout) and showed him how its done. All Bortuzzo

Borts with surprising enthusiasm at the end of a shift, tossing with abandon. Credit for Brookbank ensuring he got his bout.

All Bortuzzo & that doesn't happen often. Disappointed that Big Mac & Bollig didn't have a dance.

Brookbank took one for the team

Great hit by Bortuzzo and he backs it up by winning the fight.

Can't wait to see Bortuzzu do a Scott on Thornton. Only Gregorys Daddys suckazz officiating crews can stop Thorny from being carried off on a strecher.

Sheldon wasn't ready for the pounding he was about to receive. should just sat on the "brook bank" and watched someone else fight his battles.

@travist....props for sticking up for a teammate?? Bortuzzo with a clean solid hit on Kane. Nothing dirty, nothing high. Kane wasn't hurt. Why should you have to fight some scrub for playing the game right? Crosby gets hit like that 10 times and game and retribution isn't needed. It is part of the game. Nice job by Bortuzzo for taking care of Brookbank when he shouldn't have had to anyway.

@ Probert... "A Pounding" Dude, seriously shut up
