Strategically-fought bout by McLaren. Neutralized Scott's size/reach advantage by keeping him at bay with jersey-jabs. Looked like he put a goose egg over Scott's left eye. W -- McLaren.

Posted by nixu on February 22, 2013 at 04:05 AM

Anyone else see Scott landing two rights and Mclaren goes down on his knees? I think anyone doesnt wanna see it

Posted by Kempy87 on February 21, 2013 at 10:33 PM

Take the size difference into account Frazer landed more shots and Scott told the refs to step in cause of his eye so he quitted the fight. Even if it's a draw the judges score card easy win for Frazer. in the world of boxing that's how fights are decided folks. Good fight by two men.

Posted by PKisel34 on February 21, 2013 at 09:47 PM

Good scrap, edge Mcclaren. Frazier obviously took notes from Orr with the body shots

Posted by Puckstopper30 on February 21, 2013 at 11:21 PM

Not a fan of either, but a win for McLaren....had Scott bruised and looking to bail in this heavyweight tilt. Scott is a stiff who really can't fight anybody near his size and he can't play hockey. Not sure why they give him a stick.

Posted by drtico on February 21, 2013 at 10:04 PM

Props to both. McLaren stood his ground like a soldier. landed few good punches.

Posted by sedinfan on February 21, 2013 at 10:49 PM

Mclaren for sure. If the league was made up of 6'8" emforcers, Scott would rarely win a fight. Destroys most smaller opponents because they can't reach his face, but every once in a while fights like this happen and just shows everyone that he isn't a great fighter. He also is so lacking in skill, i really don't know why anyone keeps him anymore, most of the policemen now a days can at least skate and score the odd goal.

Posted by Dynastopher on February 21, 2013 at 10:37 PM

Frazer Wins, Johnny Scott pulls a BJ Penn... -"What's this lesser guy doing to my face?... and I can't stop it either".

Posted by budsfan4 on February 21, 2013 at 09:40 PM

2nd loss for big John Scott against the leafs kudos to Fraser for standing up and beating the bohemoth

Posted by Bakes923 on February 21, 2013 at 11:12 PM

McLaren scoring big with the jersey punches, plus a couple of over hand haymakers,Brownie has gotta be happy that McLaren is there to take on the bigger boys!!!

Posted by Orr Fourever on February 22, 2013 at 05:43 AM

Well well. John Scott can't play hockey and when he's up against an opponent that's worthy. He can't fight. Win Frazer no question. I like this Frazer, he would have made a good Bruin.

Posted by C-7Enforcer on February 21, 2013 at 10:39 PM

Win McLaren

Posted by 87CROSBY87 on February 21, 2013 at 10:31 PM

scott takes 3 good ones; the last 2 stunned him; and he called for the refs to stop it; WIN McLaren Betcha delusional hab fans show up and vote scott the winner. these are the same people that voted that gorges beat MCLAREN LOL

Posted by Gawd on February 21, 2013 at 11:02 PM

Wow McLaren takes down the giant. You watch closely at the end and Scott is done and asks for the refs to step in.New respect for McLaren and try not to embarrass yourself trying to explain a Scott win, your credibility will take a beating

Posted by Boone2511 on February 21, 2013 at 10:43 PM

Clear win mclaren good jersey control, and better punches. To be so delusional that you can say Scott won is sad. He got smacked

Posted by bajo39 on February 22, 2013 at 08:20 AM

Don't understand why ppl like sedinfan come on here and bash Scott - I mean do you like enforcers or not? BJS is an old school enforcer - need more guys like that. He out in along with Gerber one of the best efforts.

Posted by kingscupwinner on February 23, 2013 at 02:37 AM

What is John Scott even doing in the NHL except to run around looking for people to fight? Doe he think he's the next Boogaard or what? He can't skae, he can't shoot, why....he even looks like he's incredibly stupid.

Posted by habssuck on February 21, 2013 at 10:06 PM

Looks like Scott had gash over left eyebrow from wicked right cross at outset of fight; looks like Scott quit at end of fight. Rare loss for BJS.

Posted by grocerystick on February 21, 2013 at 11:26 PM

I agree with Madhouse; most of Maclaren's punches missed by a foot. Must be a lot of Leafs fans on here...

Posted by Your Mom on February 21, 2013 at 10:26 PM

McLaren was busier fighter but only landed a couple. Scott took off his lid because McLaren could barely reach him. Close win for Scott.

Posted by Jdaman75 on February 21, 2013 at 10:15 PM

Really thought Scott was gonna fair alot better and use his reach to his advantage...I was wrong as McLaren landed the better shots.

Posted by faqnu2 on February 22, 2013 at 02:30 AM

R_Wick33 - i watched your reel link, he got a shot in the helmet and then thrown off balance - not dropped, and we're rating a fight here, not your clear bias. Mclaren with skill.

Posted by Cat Smasher on February 22, 2013 at 11:25 AM

Good fight, the slow-mo video floating around actually proves it was not a KD. Scott quit.

Posted by Nystrom_23 on February 22, 2013 at 10:52 AM

I thought it was closer than the voting suggested. Seems like there's a lot of anti-Scott posters here. Pretty even, but the edge goes to McLaren. Gave Scott a little cut and was giving up weight and reach.

Posted by omorales on March 08, 2013 at 10:29 PM

McLaren is the real deal, he is a tough kid and a smart fighter.

Posted by Jellyczar on February 22, 2013 at 08:26 PM

McLaren beats the clumsy Scott. McLaren kept Scott off balance the whole fight.

Posted by moneybags on February 22, 2013 at 02:13 AM

Frazer with more effective punches...a rare loss for Big John

Posted by smashem on February 23, 2013 at 08:25 AM

Lol, AHL bound for Scott possible

Posted by david09313 on February 22, 2013 at 07:09 PM

mclaren

Posted by arctic_chill on February 22, 2013 at 08:22 AM

Obviously Scott was attempting to get his team going but Mclaren was the victor in this one and Im sure the giant would agree! Mclaren rag dolls Scott up against the boards at the start and seemed to keep him off balance with the jersey jabs and without a doubt landed the better shots. Good thing the linesman broke it up cause Scott was ready to turtle again like he did against Orr!

Posted by fernben8 on February 22, 2013 at 03:24 PM

McLaren did a good job keeping Scott off tempo and off balance with the left jab... Some reviews accusing Scott of calling in the linesmen to stop the fight, I saw it otherwise, McLaren was in a vulnerable position on his knees and Scott could have but didn't... Smart fight and Win for Frazer.

Posted by kotalikmyballs on February 22, 2013 at 12:48 AM

Scott might want to start learning how to play hockey. His bouts have been mediocre at best this season. His only big W on the season so far came against a rare “off” night for Shawn Thornton. A guy his size should dominate, inability to skate aside…

Posted by plp1676 on February 25, 2013 at 01:14 AM

Scott has lost twice this year, do not think there is much motivation playing for the Sabres!

Posted by NMBbob on February 22, 2013 at 08:47 AM

Scott got schooled!! Winner Mclaren

Posted by risingdemon on February 22, 2013 at 07:54 PM

McLaren with the one-sided win.

Posted by Jack o on February 22, 2013 at 09:54 AM

Everything going wrong for my Sabres. Scott zero and two against the leafs. He's really only handled Thornton this year, disappointed , bring McCormick back he's been winning his fights and can actually skate.

Posted by Mosie Ledbetter on March 19, 2013 at 01:51 AM

Baby Huey wanted it, Baby Huey got it. Clear win for McLaren. Scott was one happy lunk when the zebras stepped in.

Posted by Arkie without h on February 21, 2013 at 10:13 PM

Lot of punches from McLaren mostly connecting to Scott's body

Posted by kleptothief on February 24, 2013 at 03:49 PM

wow, 1st fight i seen scott lose, he got offbalanced early and never regain control of the fight, the guy is fcuking BEAST tho, too big and too tall for anyone to manhandle but frazier, i give him props, fraz still needs a couple more aginst, parros, reeves, patrick guy from colorado to earn heavyweight status imo

Posted by dwaters420 on March 07, 2013 at 04:49 AM

W for McLaren. Scott sucks.

Posted by Cutproof on February 22, 2013 at 02:17 AM

Clear W Mclaren, when I seem this one pop up I felt Scott would be too big for Frazer but he fought a great fight and controlled it from start to finish landing some big right hands and opening up a gash over the left eye of Scott who just quit at the end. Orr and Mclaren now with W's over Scott this season.

Posted by bruins64 on February 24, 2013 at 02:10 PM

I told you when parros smacked him he couldnt take a punch.. I gave the win to parros for doing damage. Much clearer won here for McLaren but the biggesg question is why this goon is in the league he cant skate cant shoot cant pass cant handle the puck cant do a thing on the ice and really cant even fight if the person is his own size.... Buffaload didint do enough to clean house. Who ever put that team together needs to go as well.

Posted by NoKnuckles on February 26, 2013 at 04:52 PM

McLaren with the smart win... Scott isn't a great fighter, he just has size and reach.

Posted by shawn46 on February 22, 2013 at 12:21 PM

Why you pick a fight at the end of your shift with a guy who just came on is either the ignorance of ego or the bravery of stupidity. Either way is is the wrong decision and Scott paid. I noticed that last shot by Scott but wasn't sure if that caused the knee or if it was a balance/pull issue. Either way Scott tapped and lost.

Posted by SHEP74 on March 24, 2013 at 09:41 AM

Scott with loss #2 vs the Leafs this year!

Posted by HchVegasNHL57 on February 22, 2013 at 04:22 PM

Mclaren with the soon to be patented 'peek a boo/sniff the cheese' technique gets the clear W, and in turn, IMO officially promotes the leafs to the toughest team in the league atm.

Posted by inspector3334 on February 22, 2013 at 12:25 PM

Mclaren was pretty aggressive. Scott is so big. Not sure how many punches landed, but the effort was there.

Posted by partybarber on February 25, 2013 at 07:52 PM

McLaren is becoming my new favourite Leaf. Another win.

Posted by brnzilla on February 22, 2013 at 03:41 PM

McLaren fer sure... Solid body-shots and jabs picked the giant apart. Love the freeze frame of the YouTube clip - look at Brown and Fraser. Class is in session!

Posted by jsj40 on February 22, 2013 at 04:45 AM

OK by Scott but win for McLaren

Posted by Menessy on February 21, 2013 at 09:42 PM

Win Mclaren. Definitely threw more punches in and landed more.

Posted by blknblu71 on February 22, 2013 at 07:17 AM

McLaren dominated the fight but Scott did knock McLaren down to his knees with two solid rights at the end.

Posted by Whatsupbengee on February 22, 2013 at 10:29 AM

scott was not good on this one Congrats to Frazer !!!!!!

Posted by mctuttle on February 21, 2013 at 11:58 PM

I've never seen Scott look so lackluster and be owned; not too many contacts but the better and more frequent were by McLaren.

Posted by GreatMurray on February 22, 2013 at 07:17 AM

Scott loses his second fight of the year. Good brawl. McLaren will be a force for these guys. Boston will have to play hockey this year is they want to beat Toronto in the play-offs...they won't win the fights.

Posted by spencerayres6 on February 25, 2013 at 10:16 AM

McLaren looked good early great positioning and early moves to neutralizes the height advantage. fall at the end does little to be little the rest of the fight, decisive win Mclaren, I like McLaren this year looking good in the rink fighting, adding to a tough toronto team this year.

Posted by medicdrummer on February 22, 2013 at 09:27 AM

Would love to see the Pens call Big Mac up the next time that the Sabres play the Pens just to see what Macintyre would do against Scott. Win McLaren.

Posted by ferdip on February 23, 2013 at 11:37 AM

Wow that was great, Scott is a beast and Mclaren got good shots in and you have to Scott credit for the shot at the end that almost put Mclaren down

Posted by SouthPaw017 on February 21, 2013 at 11:59 PM

GREAT SCOTT!!!! Did I really just witness the giant get bested?? It's clear that McLaren landed the better punches, and although most of his fell short, how can you complain, we all found out that the big man does bleed red.... To address a couple of posts, which indicated that Scott was on the ice longer, that's a non-factor, Scott initiated the fight.

Posted by Canuck-One on February 22, 2013 at 10:52 PM

I've been hit harder than anything these two actually landed. A lot of huff and puff but no one blew the house down. there

Posted by sporr on February 23, 2013 at 05:35 PM

Jersey jabs don't win fights unless they knock out a player. I don;t see a clear winner here. Draw and a 6

Posted by slamdunk on February 22, 2013 at 10:03 AM

Why do 'jersey jabs' count?...has anyone ever been dropped by one?....all they are is a face fully of laundry.....McLaren hit a lot of air....buckeld at the end....DRAW.

Posted by AC1026 on February 21, 2013 at 10:28 PM

Posted by gpilon on February 22, 2013 at 07:04 AM

Scott was at the end of the shift, and they throw McLaren on. Scott was already bagged, McLaren fresh. Would like to see them toss 'em when both are just coming off the bench.

Posted by DARCY T on February 22, 2013 at 04:29 AM

i think i rank mclaren lower than i should.he stood there and exchanged punches without fear with big scott and scored a draw...gave it a 6

John Scott is Hal Gill version 2.0 McLaren gets the win for fighting and not begging for the linesmen to save him from more embarrassment.

Posted by Riomouse911 on February 22, 2013 at 05:31 PM

JS got tired of eating Frazer Mac's fist in this one, FML with a well fought win.

Posted by mrbluesky on February 22, 2013 at 07:21 AM

I used to think Scott was tough. I agree, if they can reach his noggin, he usually gets beat.

Posted by Mike Kole on February 22, 2013 at 01:35 PM

McLaren wins it, kept the big man off-balance, threw more, landed more. Props to Scott tho. He was at the end of his shift, sought out McLaren, challenged him, and afterwards gestured in a way that makes clear he was trying to spark a team that really needs it.

Posted by Leafs2006 on March 23, 2013 at 12:55 AM

Scott the useless piece of S*it, losses again. scott cant skate, he cant fight, what good is he, really? Not a big fan of Mclaren but he easily gets the decision here. And of course fatDog and his off topic jibberish shwing his anger and autism at its peak, have another cheeseburger, fat b*stard

Posted by Behn Wilson on February 22, 2013 at 04:27 PM

Gotta give that to McLaren as Scott's lack of anything other than size starts catching up to him

Posted by tazcat on March 21, 2013 at 07:58 PM

LOL.....what a joke......the "intelligent idiots"....the TO fans that is, again have come away with a lopsided WRONG judging on a fight.......do you losers have nothing else to do?? I do love my hockey but you TO fans live for this site and a chance to voice your lame opinions.....I'm guessing for every 1 Sabres fan there is 100 Leaf idiot fans on here voting.....case closed. Get a life losers. I thought something was a tad wrong when Orr fought Scott a while back and you tards somehow came away with Orr winning by a landslide......at best it was a tie.

Posted by staceyb on February 22, 2013 at 05:18 AM

Much as I wanted to see Scott mop up the ice with McLaren it didn't happen.

Posted by rocky 1 on March 07, 2013 at 06:11 PM

What the hell is wrong with Scott this year.Seems like he quits before the fight is even over.Give win to Mclaren the second leaf to beat Scott this year.Hey big John grow some coconuts!

Posted by slavv on February 22, 2013 at 10:15 PM

McLaren did a great job holding off Scott. McLaren with the win...not sure he even got hit.

Posted by Lucic_Power on February 22, 2013 at 09:54 PM

Scott will be on waivers before the playoffs...it took taking a ''player'' of of line 4 and putting in a waste of skin to get Lindy Ruff Fired after 16 yrs, Remember Daniel Paille played on the 4th line for Buffalo......Oh how they have fallen.

Posted by the_bro on February 02, 2014 at 02:41 AM

Win McLaren, I wish he was fighting this well right now

Posted by kkdowning on February 22, 2013 at 03:33 PM

Hmmm. This fight makes one think that Scott is all about arm length. Maybe Shawn Thorton can stretch himself a bit for the rematach. Win McLaren.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on February 22, 2013 at 11:18 PM

WTF? I was expecting John Scott to dominate everybody this year. Wasn't he damn near undefeated before he came to Buffalo? Two huge losses already this season. Bring back Robbie Ray out of retirement. Who the hell gave this fight to Scott? I'm a Sabres fan and I could see that big John got smoked.

Posted by unfunny on February 22, 2013 at 12:16 AM

Domination by McLaren, and with Scott waving in the refs at the end, gotta call it a TKO.

Posted by FHgrad99 on February 24, 2013 at 03:19 AM

Wow, very impressive showing by McLaren here. He did a good job of staying out of Scott's reach but getting some punches in to the body. A rare loss for Scott. McLaren gets a clear win in this one, in my book.

Posted by theorange on February 24, 2013 at 12:46 AM

nobody was happier with that fight than the kid beside the bench, good laugh over him, how siked was he? Two literal giants slugging it that close.

Posted by bruins2012 on April 13, 2014 at 10:42 PM

Those are some of the best jabs I've seen in a hockey fight Win McLaren

Posted by leavesofblue on September 26, 2013 at 12:19 PM

Looked like Scott was trying to crawl onto the Leafs bench! He couldn't make the team anyway. Not sure why the fight ended. Looks like Scott quit, maybe his cramps were bad that month.

Posted by Clowes ABeast29 on February 22, 2013 at 03:01 AM

Well frazer gets playing time and learns to fight... Way to go sharks. Now were hopefully gonna keep up Matt "the bird" Pelech as our tough guy when we had frazer... He learned to finally fight and not duck his head. Maybe Orr will be placed on waivers and well get payback...

Posted by Snoka on March 22, 2013 at 11:22 PM

Scott buckled McLaren's knees

Posted by Nickoo on March 17, 2013 at 12:43 PM

The last punch of Scott put McLaren down to his knees. Win Scott.

Posted by OrrIsTheChamp on February 22, 2013 at 04:31 AM

@Clowes ABeast29, Orr is not going to be placed on waivers. Not only is he fighting but he can play a grinding role well. I hope the leafs re-sign him this summer because their is no better fighter. Right now they're set with Orr, Brown, Mclaren, Mark Fraser doing the bulk of the fighting with the odd fights from kostka, kadri, etc. This team is tough.

Posted by Walt on February 24, 2013 at 11:49 AM

The jersey jabs are lame. Win Scott.

Posted by djaye on February 22, 2013 at 02:17 AM

I did a slo-mo of this. McLaren was dropped. Ive read a lot of the responses to fights here and I must say, there needs to be a rule implemented where until your a regular poster/member of the site, you cannot vote/comment on the fights. The idiocy and homerism is unreal. "cause of his eye so he quitted the fight. ". No, idiot, he might have ' quit ' the fight. Quitted? Really?

Posted by glovedropper08 on February 22, 2013 at 09:00 AM

Looked to me like Scott dropped him at the end? Must be everyone is too oblivious to accept the fact that Scott finished the fight... How does Scott give up when frazer is laying on the ice and Scott is still standing? Most of you are ridiculous...

Posted by Bear72 on February 22, 2013 at 10:38 AM

Scott whipped his ass

Posted by Joceron on February 22, 2013 at 10:32 AM

Look peoples, McLaren was throwing but not landing, and Big John got the best and last one that put him to a knee. Its Scott, 5

Posted by Grimm on February 21, 2013 at 10:52 PM

Why is everyone voting McLaren? He didn't land anything, Scott took his own helmet off, all Mc did was pull the jersey peekaboo style over Scott's face. Big John landed the only real shot. Edge Scott. Must be a ton of Maple Laugh fans on here tonight. However, Scott hasn't impressed this year as much as I thought. Where's McGrattan?

Posted by nojjon on March 07, 2013 at 09:40 AM

A slight edge to Scott. McLaren missed more than he connected with. Mclaren started strong by getting Scott off Balance but the fight ended with Mclaren dropping to his knees.

Posted by RetardedChimp on February 22, 2013 at 02:34 PM

KD Win Scott

Posted by jnk07899 on February 22, 2013 at 04:56 PM

Did Scott wobble McLaren with that last blow before they broke it up? I feel like he did. I give it to Scott.

Posted by bear47 on February 22, 2013 at 02:02 PM

When I saw this live, I thought McLaren had the edge right up till the end. Then I was not sure so I went back and looked at it in slow motion. Right before the end Scott pops MacLaren a couple of times and it looks like he stunned him, thats when Scott motions for it to be over. Upon further review, looking at the HD version of this fight in slow motion, most of the punches I thought McLaren scored early on totaly missed. Yes Scott looked a little disorganized at the start but after seeing the fight in slow motion HD, after the first couple seconds McLaren really doesnt land anything other than a couple of shots to the back along with some jersey jabs and gets stunned toward the end. Rob Ray had it right, most of McLarens punches missed by alot.

Posted by talister106 on February 22, 2013 at 11:54 AM

Good scrap by both players doing what they do best for their team. Frazer doing a good Wendell Clark start of the fight when he did the most damage then came up short on most of his following shots, also that was no slip at the end, closer that you think.

Posted by Oswegofightfan on February 22, 2013 at 11:20 AM

It was all McLaren, n he had my vote. Right up till he got dropped. Obvious win Scott

Posted by King of Goons on March 22, 2013 at 12:09 AM

Frazer McLaren wanted this fight and got his head handed to him. I can't remember ever seeing a guy with such a look of complete desperation in his eyes as he continuously looked over at the refs in an attempt to get them to end it. That was almost as cowardly an act as when Milan Lucic ran away in mid fight and hid behind the refs after Colton Orr was rearranging his face. I like McLaren, but he really needs to redeem himself after this chicken sh*t debacle. I thought I was watching Sean Avery fight, not Frazer McLaren. Big win for John Scott, over a cringing Frazer McLaren who completely embarrassed himself and might as well have just tapped out.

Posted by ahoy hoy on March 01, 2013 at 04:19 PM

McLaren got the better of Scott at the beginning and Scott seemed off-balance and tired but Scott came back and knocked him down with a couple quality punches at the end. I give it to Scott for the comeback.

For 2 heavyweights, this fight was a snooze. Each guy landed about 1 decent punch, missed with about 20 big swings, and McLaren landed some usesless 3 inch jabs.

Posted by anthrojim on February 22, 2013 at 12:28 PM

Calling it a draw. the only hits McLaren got in were with the hand he was holding the jersey with and Scott tagged him at the end that made McLaren's knees buckle and grab on to Scott's leg.

Posted by Oil Can Henry on February 22, 2013 at 02:48 PM

....NO winner here -- fans are wanting a LOSS for Scott more than anything and it shows in the vote. McLaren was game and put-up a good effort but, didn't do anything significant to get the win.

McLaren with the win. He fought a smart fight and made Scott look useless. Because of the Leaf fighters the rest of the league now knows that Scott isn't anything special. He's a huge guy who doesn't really know how to use his size to his advantage. Some of the comments on here are so ridiculous. Some are saying that Scott was on the ice already and tired. He was on the ice for what 10 seconds before McLaren came on AND Scott asked McLaren to go. McLaren didn't challenge Scott. Some say Scott knocked McLaren down at the end. No, McLaren slipped throwing a punch and bounced right up. The fight was stopped because Scott was probably out of breath and knew it was only going to get worse and he called over the ref/linesmen. Some say most of McLaren's punches didn't reach. Maybe, but they kept Scott off balance and enough did. Did you see Scott's eye? Bottom line is McLaren looked real good and Scott looked average.

McLaren with a new lease of life, and looking good for it, solid win against one of the big boys!

ahahahahahahah scott got his ass handed to him.

Good balance and tactical positioning won it for McLaren. Otherwise, Scott would've bombed him. John Scott is too tall to stand erect like that and hope to stay on two skates.

said it before, i'll say it again Scott is useless, he has no skill, just size. Orr beat him earlier in the year, now McLaren. What I would really like to see is him take on Chara, a guy who has the same size and reach advantages that he has, I think Scott would have his @$$ handed to him.

McLaren with the win.Scott just learned that you can`t just push through everybody to win fights you might have to have some skill. Also he hasn`t fought as many real legit heavyweights in his career.McLaren has probably has fought twice as many fights than him.Scott is too big so he gets tired quikly. He is losing more of his intimidation factor every night. He`s got a way to go.It looked like Toronto didn`t care about him at all tonight they were like a wolf pack nobody feared him they would bump him talk to him get in his head.Buffalo has to find it self right now.

Scott had been on the ice a while longer and McLaren tried to land a few quick blows in the beginning and kidney shot in the end (Probably because he knew it worked for Colton Orr).. Scott got more quality punches in...

As Elvis said in a song, 'you're just tall, that's all'. Scott's height and reach saved him from a real beat down by McClaren. At the end, Scott clearly just wanted to get away from McClaren before he got a lump over his right eye to match the one over his left. If McClaren was 6'8" with the same reach, Scott would've been carried off on a stretcher.

How was Orr hiding under Carlyles skirt? Because he wasn't in the lineup? You're a plug buddy.

I guess Orr was hiding under Carlyles skirt. Scott does a good Parros impression. I dont care if you like buttplugs AfroGeekius...and yes....cuz he wasnt dressed. Very good.

All McLaren here ...... Scott started it and McLaren tuned him up

Clear win for Mclaren. Like the announcers said, Scott was looking for help from the linesman.

Scott''s not much when he fights an aggressive guy that is about his size. Great job by McLaren to pick up a W.

McLaren did a good job but couldn't reach the taller Scott who used his superior reach to get the win

Posted by B-Bear on February 21, 2013 at 10:20 PM

DRAW!!!! both overrated

Posted by The Mad House on February 21, 2013 at 10:03 PM

Not exactly sure why everyone is giving the W to McLaren, yes he threw a lot more punches but didn't land nearly as many, this was another narrow win for Scott, who has not impressed this year.

That was a very impressive showing from Mclaren. I'm sure the people who always vote Scott the winner no matter what will be out in force but I don't think he landed anything of consequence and Mclaren landed about six stiff lefts, not jersey jabs but stiff lefts. And don't try and tell me Scott hurt him at the end, he threw a punch and Mclaren fell off balance. I also like the body shot Mclaren threw, Orr must've given him the book on the big guy. I have it to Mclaren by a decent margin, voted it a 7.

Is there something about the Sabre jersey that makes all who wear it an under achiever? Scott got whupped and he never used to get whupped..... Sabres blow.

Posted by MTU84 on February 21, 2013 at 10:17 PM

McLaren got lucky...you can tell he was terrified and had to catch Scott off-gaurd to even stand a chance. Both got a few good hits in but in the end Scott stands strong, by no means was he taken down. If anything a draw. Awesome fight.
