Saw someone say that Garbutt had an assist. Just wanted to correct that and say he had a goal. Can't believe the Stars blew a 3-1 in the 3rd and end up losing 3-4. Kari was hurt. Bachman (back up) isn't that great in the pipes and a few D men are terrible (Daley and Goligoski in particular).

Not sure why Begin did that, as he was throwing them and doing OK and he has been in many a fight over the years. it was quite the takedown however, as lifted Garbutt up as if he was a sack of flour.

The pant grab is usually used when you don't want to fight anymore. It looked like Begin didn't want to fight in the first place. Both guys ended the night +1 with an assist on only 8 mins of ice time. That's pretty productive.

This is Calfairy's answer to their toughness and grit inadequacies??? If you're going to try and grab the guys junk Begin, at least you should probably buy him dinner first. What a classless and pathetic way out of a fight..........I see that Begin has fallen right in with his team already though, except that he actually drops his gloves.....and then bails.

Anyone know if begin does MMA in the off season? Textbook Takedown. Too bad the zebras jumped in before he could attempt an arm bar. That being said I prefer my hockey fights to be more punchy and less takedowny. Win garbutt for atleast attempting the 'punchy' part.
