As expected, Trevor Gillies found a willing dance partner in Jared Boll during JacketsIsles on Thanksgiving Eve.

Gillies went after Boll, who dumped John Tavares to the ice near the benches. The fight was a one-sided affair. Escorted to their respective penalty boxes, Boll put ice on an injured hand and wiped blood from his mouth while Gillies was greeted by Tavares, who thanked him for his efforts.

Another scrap with a clear winner on Wednesday was a middleweight dust-up between Matt Bradley and Troy Bodie. It was Bodie who inflicted the most damage while the majority of Bradley's shots came up short.

Matt Kassian also made the most of his second call-up of the year from the Wild. He took a decision over Jody Shelley, who was sporting a swollen left eye afterwards and has struggled fighting-wise since joining the Flyers.
