Stastny and Allen collide against the boards near the blueline. They push and shove before skating away from each other and going further down ice. Stastny skates up to Allen and the two quickly drop the gloves. Allen lands a right, but is grabbed from behind by Zdeno Chara. The linesmen come in at the same time and separate all three while Chara and Allen exchange words. Other Penalties: Allen and Zdeno Chara each received a roughing.

Behind the play the two drop the gloves and quickly grab ahold of each other only to fall down to their knees. They get back on their feet, but Hoggan loses his balance and goes to his knees once again, allowing Guerin to get in two right uppercuts. Hoggan works his way back up to his feet and Guerin throws an uppercut and two rights. Hoggan ties Guerin up and shoves him up against the side boards just before he throws three overhand rights. The linesmen are there to break things up immediately after. Other Penalties: Guerin received a roughing.

They square off at center ice with McCarty dropping his gloves and Hoggan waiting until the very last second to drop his before they grab ahold of each other. Hoggan puts his head into McCarty's chest and the two wrestle around until McCarty slams Hoggan down to the ice. The linesmen are right there to break things up.

White grabs Alberts and throws two uppercuts while Alberts is trying to get set up. White continues to throw uppercuts while Alberts returns fire with a few rights. White gets Alberts' jersey over his head and starts feeding him six straight uppercuts before the linesmen rush in to save Alberts. Alberts throws a right while the two are being separated, but nothing else develops after that. Other Penalties: White received an instigator and misconduct.

The two exchange words and then quickly drop the gloves before grabbing ahold of one another. Peters connects with three rights to the side of Alberts' helmet to start things off. Alberts returns fire with a right, but Peters continues to swing away with the right, throwing two right crosses and two uppercuts. Alberts attempts a locked-out right and Peters throws three more rights while they skate into the boards. Peters gets Alberts' helmet off and Alberts responds with a short right followed by a left hook that hits the top of Peters' forehead. Alberts then misses with a right cross, but loses his balance and falls to the ice. Peters cocks back his right hand, but the linesmen are right there to grab them and end the fight.

Primeau comes off of the bench and goes directly after Mair, running into him and challenging him. They exchange a few words and then decide to quickly drop the gloves. They grab ahold of each other and Mair immediately starts throwing lefts, landing five straight shots while Primeau ducks down and tries to get set up. Primeau returns fire with a flurry of four rights that Mair is able to avoid for the most part. Mair lands two overhand rights to the back of Primeau's head while they spin around and go down to their knees. Primeau then wrestles Mair to the ice and cocks back his right hand, but the linesmen are right there to end the fight.

Boyes skates over to Lydman and gives him a shot, prompting a shoving match between the two. One of the linesman tries to break things up, but they end up grabbing ahold of one another and dropping the gloves. Boyes starts things off with three rights and Lydman returns fire with three rights of his own during the flurry. They then go toe-to-toe with rights. Lydman stops throwing and Boyes continues to throw a mix of rights, uppercuts, and body shots. Boyes gets Lydman's helmet off and his jersey up and over his head, and follows that up with a few rights to the side and top of Lydman's head. Lydman throws two blind rights and Boyes comes back with one of his own before they stop throwing and allow the linesmen to come on in. Lydman skated away with a cut over his left eye.

They wrestle around for a short while until Reich gets free and throws two rights. Clymer is able to lock Reich out again, but Reich quickly gets loose and throws a flurry of three more rights while Clymer struggles to do anything. Clymer is finally able to land a short body shot in response, but Reich is able to tie him up. They then grapple once again to try and get position, but the linesmen move in and break things up before anything else can happen.

Alberts knocks Walker to the ice with a hit in front of the Bruins' net. Walker gets back to his feet and challenges Alberts, quickly dropping his gloves and throwing two rights before Alberts even has his gloves off. Alberts ditches hit mitts and Walker throws four more rights until Alberts returns fire with a right of his own. Walker throws another right and they go toe-to-toe with wild right hands. Alberts stops throwing for a moment, allowing Walker to connect with two rights, the last one sending Alberts' helmet flying. Walker gets Alberts' jersey up and over his head and throws a flurry of rights and uppercuts. Alberts' responds with a blind right and Walker continues to throw rights after that. Alberts' throws a couple of more blind punches and Walker throws another right just before he loses his balance and falls to the ice. The linesmen move in and Alberts' gets in two late rights while Walker is down. Walker stands back up and gets in two rabbit punches while the linesmen are trying to break them up. Shortly after that they're separated and the fight finally ends.

Reich runs Greene into the boards while Greene plays the puck for an icing. Greene gives Reich a little shove after the whistle blows and Reich gives him a shot back just before they drop the gloves. They grapple for a short moment before going toe-to-toe with rights. Reich is able to land two rights at the end of the exchange that knock Greene off-balance and to the ice. The linesmen quickly jump on top of them and end the fight.

Right after the puck drops for the faceoff, they shed their gloves and helmets. Richards glides towards Mara and they end up squaring off at the blueline before grabbing ahold of each other. Mara starts things off with three straight rights. Richards returns fire with a right of his own just as they go into the side boards. Mara continues to go with the right, throwing two more and causing Richards to come back with a pair of overhand rights in response. Mara then switches strategies, connecting with three body shots. Richards is able to push Mara off-balance for a moment and they wrestle around for a short moment. Richards gets loose and connects with a right, following that up with a flurry of short overhand rights while Mara is bent over. Mara pushes Richards up against the glass and gets in a right. Mara throws some more rights with Richards responding with two of his own during the series. They eventually stop throwing and allow the linesmen to intervene and end the fight.

A scrum develops in front of the Bruins' net and out of it comes Wideman and Latendresse pushing and shoving. They drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other behind the net while the sea of players moves towards them. Wideman throws an uppercut and an overhand right just before he loses his balance and is hip-tossed to the ice by Latendresse. Latendresse gets in a short right while Wideman is down. Wideman gets back up to his feet and Latendresse gets Wideman's jersey up and over his head. Latendresse gets in a short right just as the linesmen start to come in. One of the linesmen grabs Latendresse from behind, but Wideman starts throwing rights and he quickly lets go. Latendresse returns fire with two of his own and then pushes Wideman into the boards. Wideman's jersey comes down and he connects with a short right to the side of Latendresse's head. They exchange a few short rights in tight until they decide to stop throwing and let the linesmen intervene.
