Comments: Alberts knocks Walker to the ice with a hit in front of the Bruins' net. Walker gets back to his feet and challenges Alberts, quickly dropping his gloves and throwing two rights before Alberts even has his gloves off. Alberts ditches hit mitts and Walker throws four more rights until Alberts returns fire with a right of his own. Walker throws another right and they go toe-to-toe with wild right hands. Alberts stops throwing for a moment, allowing Walker to connect with two rights, the last one sending Alberts' helmet flying. Walker gets Alberts' jersey up and over his head and throws a flurry of rights and uppercuts. Alberts' responds with a blind right and Walker continues to throw rights after that. Alberts' throws a couple of more blind punches and Walker throws another right just before he loses his balance and falls to the ice. The linesmen move in and Alberts' gets in two late rights while Walker is down. Walker stands back up and gets in two rabbit punches while the linesmen are trying to break them up. Shortly after that they're separated and the fight finally ends.

Alberts takes a run at Walker, coming very close to a knee to knee hit. Walker gets up, Thomas freezes the puck and after the whistle Walker drops the gloves and lands two punches before Alberts can get the gloves off. Walker throws four more shots while Alberts is still getting set up. Alberts responds with one of his own. They begin going toe-to-toe for a bit. They stop, Walker capitalizes and throws two more of his own. Alberts helmet comes off and Walker gets the uniform of Alberts up over his head. Alberts starts to blindly throw rights, some connecting. Walker then loses his balance and falls, Alberts tries to sneak in a few more while the linesmen break up the fight.

Walker took a few pops, but I like his relentless throws.

Suprisingly good scrap. Walker, a good fighter teed off but Alberts gamely hung in there. Win Scott Walker in one of the better fights this year.

Alberts should consider never, EVER, dropping the gloves with anyone in this league again. That was a flat out ass kicking.

Unfair advantage for Walker as he was on top of Alberts before he even had a chance to drop his gloves but Alberts came back and made a great scrap of it.

It sucks that Alberts was wearing his visor for most of the fight.

Walker landed about 8 good ones to Alberts 4. Early in the fight Walker threw one that staggered Alberts for a sec.

Alberts has a face shiild you morons cause he got 12 stickes in his face from a puck a few games back, seconldy, alberts isnt a fighter, hes a skilled defensmen who has huge body checks.....walkers is a fighter, 3rdly, walker was throwing punches at his face before he even had a chance to drop them and square off, cheep win against a sticked up guy who rarely rarely fights....

Love Walker's scrappiness. But what I really love about this fight is that Walker is a moderately skilled player sticking up for himself. The fact that Alberts didn't drop the gloves is inconsequential - if you can dish out a questionable hit, you should have to defend your actions. I think, however, if Alberts hadn't hit Walker leg-to-leg Walker would have gotten an instigator, due to the fact that either Alberts obviously was either a) completely stunned or b) didn't want any part of Walker.
Kudos, thought, for Alberts for sticking with it.
Also of note is the fact that Walker was injured as a result of the fight. Perhaps fighters ought to do the honorable thing and remove their helmets themselves prior to the fists flying on each other's helmets and eye shields?
