Comments: After some action near the net the whistle blows and a scrum forms. Bertuzzi pulls Henry out of the scrum and they drop em. Both are locked in with the left and throwing rights, although neither player can reach the other one well and the punches don't seem to land square or simply come up short. Henry tries to get loose from Bertuzzi's grip and winds up on his knees and the linesmen come in.

Comments: During a scrum, these two square off and Ferguson starts immediately with two nice jabs that snapped Goren's head back. The two wrestle a bit before Ferguson lands a few more good punches. Goren lands two shots late as Ferguson gets into an awkward position, leading to Goren getting a takedown to end the fight.

Comments: After Turco gets interfered with for the second time by Goren, Boucher just drops the gloves, throws away the helmet and starts throwing. Unfortunately Goren gets the best of him and hits him at least 4-5 times. Boucher throws a wild punch that hits nothing but air. Goren also gets Boucher's jersey up over his head, causing Boucher to swinging wildly. Other Penalties: Boucher received an instigator, unsportsmanlike conduct and misconduct.

Brookbank comes back with a right when Boogaard gets him in a sort of spin cycle and lands about 6-7 unanswered punches. Brookbank throws a left, but Boogaard hits him on the temple, causing Brookbank to lose his balance and fall to the ice.

Ruutu switches back and lands a left before ripping Ritchie's helmet off. They wrestle around a bit until Ruutu gets loose and is able to get Ritchie's jersey over his head as he lands 5-6 rights before the linesmen come in.

They tie up and Brookbank throws a left as McCarty responds with a left of his own. McCarty then throws two uppercuts as Brookbank lands a weak right. Brookbank throws two weak rights as he struggles to get his elbow pad off. Brookbank pins McCarty up against the boards as McCarty throws two rights. They each struggle to get loose, allowing the linesman to come in and end the fight.

Brookbank starts off with some rights, tossing in an uppercut in between a couple of shots to Thornton's head. Thornton returns fire with a left that hits Brookbank's back. Brookbank then throws a right while trying to pull up the back of Thornton's jersey with his left. Thornton's trying to throw a right at the same time, but Brookbank's jersey move causes them both to fall and the linesmen quickly come in while they're on the ice.

The two then exchange a few shots, Brookbank getting in two rights and Parros connecting with a right of his own. Parros tries another right, but comes up short. Parros loses his balance and falls to the ice and the linesmen quickly come in. Other Penalties: Brookbank received an instigator and misconduct.

Hinote throws two rights before the two go back and forth with rights once again. Bieska misses over the top with a right as both players continue to exchange wild rights that come up short for the most part. Bieska then connects with three quick rights and Hinote throws a right in response. They exchange right hands before they tie up and Bieska rips Hinote's helmet off just before the linesmen come in.

They grapple some more and Iginla finally gets loose and throws two rights, with one landing to the side of Kesler's face. They go back and forth with punches: Iginla with rights, Kesler with lefts. Iginla then throws a body shot before they wrestle around in close quarters. Iginla switches hands and throws five lefts with a few connecting as Kesler throws a left. Kesler then lands two rights as Iginla lands a left. Iginla lands a big right and the two begin to exchange right hands once again. They go back and forth with some more punches, both fighters obviously fatigued as Iginla shakes his elbow pad off. They each land two rights before Iginla misses with two wide lefts and the linesmen come in and finally stop the fight.

Brookbank is able to tie Simon up for a short moment, but is unable to get an arm free as Simon gets loose and throws four more lefts before switching hands and landing two right jabs. The two tie up and talk a little before the linesmen come in and end the fight.

Away from the pile of players, Keith and Burrows shove each other as Keith quickly drops his gloves and throws two rights before Burrows even has his gloves off. The two fall to the ice and quickly return to their feet as Burrows throws four rights while Keith tries to get an arm free. Keith then wrestles Burrows to the ice and waits for the linesmen to come in. Other Penalties: Jarkko Ruutu received a double roughing and misconduct; Andy Hilbert a roughing.

Comments: The whistle blows stopping play and Allen skates over and shoves Morrow. Jarkko Ruutu and Allen skate up to Morrow along the boards as players start to pile in. Morrow waits for the crowd to move and grabs ahold of Allen. Morrow lands a left while Allen still has his gloves and stick in hand, causing Allen to yell at the linesmen. Allen rips Morrow's helmet off and the two wrestle around as Morrow throws two rights to the back of Allen's helmet before the linesmen step in. Other Penalties: Morrow received a slashing.

Comments: Ruutu runs into Marty Turco behind the net and Daley skates over and grabs Ruutu before they drop the gloves and wrestle against the boards. Daley rips Ruutu's helmet off as Ruutu lands two short rights to the side of Daley's head. Daley then returns fire with a right of his own. Daley throws a right and a left and the two skate further down ice. Ruutu lands a left jab and six consecutive rights to the back and side of Daley's head as Daley throws two rights in defense. Daley misses with a left and Ruutu connects with a right before the two go back and forth with locked-out rights. The two yap for a little and then the linsemen come in and end the scrap. Other Penalties: Daley received an instigator and misconduct; Alex Burrows a slashing and misconduct.
