| Jovanovski nails Eric Belanger with a huge check along the boards. Avery comes over in Belanger's defense as he drops the gloves with Jovanovski. They square off with both players removing their helmets. They grab on and Avery throws a right while Jovanovski returns fire with four rights of his own, the first one missing. Avery throws a right as Jovanovski comes back with a wide right and a short left. They wrestle around as Avery throws a short right and loses his balance for a moment. Avery throws a few rights while Jovanovski tries to get his right hand free. They then hold on until the linesmen come in. | ||

Avery took one to his skull, to the back of his head but lands cleaner one of his own before that Jovo's big one.
Avery got a nice power behind his punch but Jovo's shot was like a bomb.
Jovo missed with a few bombs(rights).
Avery tryed to throw couple later as they grappled.
