Ruutu runs into Marty Turco behind the net and Daley skates over and grabs Ruutu before they drop the gloves and wrestle against the boards. Daley rips Ruutu's helmet off as Ruutu lands two short rights to the side of Daley's head. Daley then returns fire with a right of his own. Daley throws a right and a left and the two skate further down ice. Ruutu lands a left jab and six consecutive rights to the back and side of Daley's head as Daley throws two rights in defense. Daley misses with a left and Ruutu connects with a right before the two go back and forth with locked-out rights. The two yap for a little and then the linsemen come in and end the scrap. Other Penalties: Daley received an instigator and misconduct; Alex Burrows a slashing and misconduct.

daley did well against better opponent.
He hung in there and landed 4-5 ok shots of his own but Ruutu had clear control later as he unloaded some serious shots.
