Comments: The Sharks go offsides. Thornton and Brookbank bump, drop the gloves and quickly grab on. They're in tight and Brookbank quickly removes Thornton's helmet. Brookbank starts off with some rights, tossing in an uppercut in between a couple of shots to Thornton's head. Thornton returns fire with a left that hits Brookbank's back. Brookbank then throws a right while trying to pull up the back of Thornton's jersey with his left. Thornton's trying to throw a right at the same time, but Brookbank's jersey move causes them both to fall and the linesmen quickly come in while they're on the ice.
