Comments: Clowe and Vandermeer get tangled up behind the play and decide to drop the gloves. They grab ahold of each other and tie up, Clowe eventually getting free and throwing an uppercut followed by a right. Clowe throws another right, causing Vandermeer to respond and they go back and forth with rights. Vandermeer gets Clowe up against the boards and throws three lefts while Clowe continues to throw rights. Clowe comes up short with a pair of two more rights, allowing Vandermeer to capitalize and connect with two left crosses. They wrestle around in close quarters until they both get loose and start exchanging rights once more. Vandermeer lands another two rights just before Clowe connects with an uppercut. They grapple as Vandermeer gets Clowe's jersey over his eyes and they exchange simultaneous rights. Finally they tire out enough to let the linesmen come in and end the fight.

Comments: As Fernadez covers the puck, a scrum breaks out and Davison skates from the blueline to shove Boogaard. They separate from the crowd, push and shove for a few more seconds and then drop the gloves. Boogaard throws a right, hitting the side of Davison's helmet, while Davison misses with a right of his own. Davison keeps his distance to avoid Boogaard's reach and lunges in with a right that lands as Boogaard throws a left that misses over the top. After the both fall and get back up, Boogaard throws a right jab then three more over the top landing on the back of Davison's head. Davison misses with a wild left then again with a right, all the while ducking his head and keeping his distance. They get in close, Boogaard throws a weak right uppercut and they fall to the ice. Other Penalties: Boogaard received a cross checking.

Comments: Hordichuk lands a nice, clean hit on Marleau at the blueline. Smith immediately goes after Hordichuk. Hordichuk drops the gloves in defense and nails Smith with a right hand, causing Smith to go down to the ice. As Smith gets back up, Hordichuk lands two more rights, knocking Smith down again. Hordichuk lands another right while Smith is down. Other Penalties: Smith received an instigator and misconduct.

Comments: The Sharks go offsides. Thornton and Brookbank bump, drop the gloves and quickly grab on. They're in tight and Brookbank quickly removes Thornton's helmet. Brookbank starts off with some rights, tossing in an uppercut in between a couple of shots to Thornton's head. Thornton returns fire with a left that hits Brookbank's back. Brookbank then throws a right while trying to pull up the back of Thornton's jersey with his left. Thornton's trying to throw a right at the same time, but Brookbank's jersey move causes them both to fall and the linesmen quickly come in while they're on the ice.

Comments: Scatchard cross checks Marcel Goc from behind in the corner. Thornton's right next to the two and grabs ahold of Scatchard. Shane Doan attempts to break it up, but Thornton's got a good grip on Scatch and throwing rights over a scrum. They break away and Scatchard goes to his knees. Thornton throws a big left uppercut as Scatchard is getting up. Scatchard makes it up on his skates, but after just a moment or so of wrestling he falls and Thornton throws the lefts as the linesmen come in. Other Penalties: Scatchard received a cross checking.

Comments: The two drop the gloves away from the play. Davison throws a right that knocks Perrott's helmet off and the two wrestle around in tight. Perrott throws a weak right, switches hands, and throws a couple of short lefts while Davison returns fire with some short rights. They continue to struggle to get loose as Perrott throws four rights while Davison throws one of his own. Davison then throws an overhand right that knocks both players off-balance and to the ice.

Comments: They drop the gloves immediately after the faceoff following a goal by Scott Parker. They grab on right away as Konokpa starts things off with 4-5 rights with Smith throwing a right of his own. They each wrestle around to try and get a hand free as Konopka throws a right while Smith returns fire with two short rights. Konopka is able to get Smith's jersey over his head and throws a right before the linesmen rush in.

Comments: Murray throws a bit hit on Doan. Doan gets back up and goes after him, dropping his gloves on the way. Murray gets ready for him by dropping his gloves and shedding the helmet. Murray grabs onto Doan and takes him down almost immediately. Doan tries to throw a punch from the ground, but Murray has him tied up well and the linesmen are already coming in.

Comments: After battling in the corner for these two have words and drop the gloves. Davison quickly gets his gloves off and starts throwing them. Jackman loses his balance and falls almost immediately and Davison is standing over him doing his impression of starting a lawn mower until the linesmen come in to break it up.

Comments: As Evgeni Nabokov plays the puck behind the net, Gorges comes up and gives Nabakov a shot from behind, knocking him to the ice. Rycroft goes right after Gorges and they drop the gloves. Gorges throws two rights before Rycroft throws him to the ice. Rycroft then throws a right while they are down. Other Penalties: Rycroft received a goaltender interference.

Comments: Thornton throws an elbow to the head of Jeff Giuliano behind the net and Gleason comes over and gives Thornton a shove right away. Gleason waits for Thornton, who pauses and then drops the gloves. They each toss the rights, about five a piece. Thornton has the reach advantage and they may have each landed at first, but the last few go to Thornton. Thornton then wrestles Gleason to the ice and the linesmen come in. Other Penalties: Thornton received an elbowing.

Thornton throws a body shot as the two wrestle around in close quarters, with Parros ripping Thornton's helmet off. They continue to grapple as Thornton throws a left. Parros lands two lefts to the back of Thornton's head as the two continue to struggle to get free. They exchange punches: Thornton with the left, Parros with the right, before Parros loses his balance and Thornton spins him to the ice.

Comments: As the horn sounds to end the game, a scrum develops in the corner. Thornton skates over to Vandermeer and they start pushing and shoving. Thornton drops his gloves and throws three quick rights, knocking Vandermeer's helmet off before Vandermeer is even able to drop his stick and gloves. They skate further down ice and wrestle in close quarters before Thornton gets free and throws two overhand rights before switching hands and landing two short lefts. Thornton switches hands again and throws a left-right hook combination as Vandermeer continues to try and get an arm free. Thornton lands two more lefts and an uppercut before connecting with two overhand rights to the back of Vandermeer's head. Vandermeer finally gets loose and lands a right as Thornton lands another right and misses with an uppercut. Thornton connects with a glancing left hook as they quickly exchange right hands. Vandermeer misses with two overhand rights before Thornton misses with a left as he loses his balance and falls to the ice. Vandermeer gets in two body shots before the linesmen separate the two. Other Penalties: Matt Barnaby received a cross checking.

Other Penalties: Bernier received an instigator, unsportsmanlike conduct and misconduct; Witt a tripping.

Comments: Kyle McLaren goes after Nichol after he cross checks Steve Bernier. Nichol gives McLaren a gloved punch in response as Michalek grabs Nichol from behind and everyone piles in. Nichol throws two rights as Michalek falls down in the scrum, taking Nichol with him. Both players rise to their feet and grab each other. Michalek throws two rights and a left and Nichol lands five rights to the side and back of Michalek's head as Michalek falls to the ice. Nichol then throws Michalek to the ice and a referee splits them up. Other Penalties: Nichol a roughing and game misconduct; Michalek a game misconduct.

Thornton does and throws five straight rights before Gratton returns fire and they go toe-to-toe. Gratton rips off Thornton's helmet and connects with two rights to the back of his head. Thornton then loses his balance and goes down to a knee before quickly getting back up. Gratton throws three rights and a body shot with Thornton throwing two rights during the flurry. Gratton throws two more rights and an uppercut before the two fall to the ice shortly after.
