Perrott throws checks on Scott Hannan and Alyn McCauley, causing Thornton to go after Perrott as the two drop the gloves and tie up. They wrestle around in tight with Perrott ripping Thornton's helmet off as they go up against the glass. Perrott throws a right while the two continue to wrestle up against the glass. They're grappling in close quarters until Perrott throws four short rights and three left rabbit punches to the back and side of Thornton's head. Thornton continues to hold on and the two stand there until the linesmen intervene. Other Penalties: Mark Smith received a tripping.
