The two go toe-to-toe for a bit with rights, each landing a couple of shots. Nichol misses with a straight right just before they fall down to the ice with Lapointe on top. Other Penalties: Tony Salmelainen received a goaltender interference.

Low takes a run at Tootoo along the boards and knocks him off-balance. Tootoo takes exception and the two decide to drop the gloves. They grapple along the side boards, each struggling to get loose just before Low goes down to a knee. Tootoo takes advantage and throws two short rights while Low gets back up to his feet. Low gets his right hand loose and throws about twelve ranging rights to the top and back of Tootoo's head. Tootoo responds with a few wild rights before switching hands while Low continues to throw with the right. Low switches to the left hand and lands some shots there just before Tootoo lands a right cross. The two then hold on for a brief moment, but that's just enough incentive for the linesmen to step in and end the fight.

Right off of the faceoff Hordichuk turns to Low and the two drop the gloves, quickly grabbing on to each other. Hordichuk starts things off with three rights while Low struggles to get a hand free. Low throws two lefts that hit the side of Hordichuk's helmet and Hordichuk returns fire with an uppercut inside shortly after. Hordichuk throws three more rights while the two spin around. They each throw a right before they fall to the ice with Hordichuk landing on top. Hordichuk gets in another right while they are falling, but the linesmen are right there to break things up.

Behind the play the two drop the gloves and start throwing punches at center ice. Hordichuk lands a straight right that sends Gratton down to his knees. Gratton gets back to his feet and they exchange rights. They start going toe-to-toe with rights and uppercuts. The two stop throwing and grapple just before Gratton throws two lefts. Hordichuk answers back with a short right and they decide to hold on until the linesmen are able to step in and end the fight.

Boynton and Tootoo meet in the far corner and quickly drop the gloves. They grab ahold of each other and start going toe-to-toe: Boynton with rights, Tootoo with the left hand. Boynton connects with a right that sends Tootoo to the ice, but Tootoo is able to collect himself and get back up to his feet. Boynton throws a right and Tootoo answers with an uppercut before the two go toe-to-toe once again for a split second. They then hold on until the linesmen skate over and break things up. Other Penalties: Jerred Smithson received a double roughing; Dennis Seidenberg a roughing.

Dan Hamhuis hits Josh Gratton along the boards late and Gratton takes exception, grabbing Hamhuis and causing a scrum. Morris and Fiddler come out of the commotion with their gloves dropped and each other tied up. Fiddler throws three early, locked-out rights before Morris answers, landing four rights to the back of Fiddler's helmet. Morris shakes off his elbow pad and connects with an uppercut before throwing two rights at a bent over Fiddler. Fiddler puts his head into Morris' chest and pushes him up against the glass, but Morris is able to get his right hand free and throw three more rights just before Fiddler falls to the ice. The linesmen then jump in and end the fight. Other Penalties: Morris received an instigator and misconduct; Josh Gratton a roughing; Dan Hamhuis a roughing and charging.

Right off of the faceoff, the two drop the gloves and square off just inside of the blueline. They grab ahold of each other and Tootoo throws a few jersey-jabs with Bieska responding in the form of three rights to the top of Tootoo's head. Tootoo throws a right that just misses and the force of the blow sends the two falling to the ice. Both stand up and try to continue the fight, but the linesmen are right there to break things up.

Weber checks Bell against the boards and keeps on skating. Bell gets up, skates after him and issues the challenge. They drop the gloves and grab on to each other. They size each other up and Weber throws two rights that Bell ducks away from. Bell tries a right uppercut that misses and then Weber counters with an overhand right that Bell avoids. Bell's movement causes them to drop to their knees, but they get up before the linesmen can intervene. Bell quickly throws a right uppercut as Weber shakes off an elbow pad. Bell then throws a couple of straight lefts, neither appearing to connect and then loses his balance. Weber gets in a couple of lefts as Bell pulls him down. The linesmen come in as Weber gets in one more left for good measure.

The two drop the gloves in the middle of a line change for both teams and immediately tie up near the benches. Laperriere gets Weber's jersey up and over his head just before throwing a right. In a weird turn of events, Weber then gets Laperriere's jersey over his head. Laperriere throws two lefts, but the linesmen are quick to get in there and end the fight as neither fighter can see what they are doing.

Goertzen gives Tootoo a shove along the boards. Tootoo immediately ditches the stick and gloves and Goertzen follows suit. They get in tight, grapple and both try and sneak in a couple of short shots. They position themselves a little better and Goertzen lands a few decent rights. Tootoo counters with a couple of lefts. Tootoo switches to the right and lands a good shot as Goertzen attempts another right, but is put off-balance. Tootoo wrestles Goertzen to his knees and lands a few more rights as the linesmen come in.

The two get tangled up near the benches while trying to battle for the puck and Tootoo gives Tollefsen a couple of cross-checks. They then exchange a few words before deciding to drop the gloves. The camera unfortunately gets to the scrap pretty late and shows Tollefsen throwing a right at a bent-over Tootoo while Tollefsen's jersey is over his head. The linesmen are right there to break things up shortly after.

Seabrook's jersey comes over his head and Tootoo switches hands, connecting with an uppercut just before they fall to the ice. Seabrook throws two lefts while they are down on the ice, but the linesmen are right there to make sure nothing else happens after that.

Hamhuis throws a right and his helmet comes off. Seabrook throws two rights and Hamhuis lands a right of his own. Seabrook gets Hamhuis bent over and throws an uppercut and a right just before Hamhuis takes Seabrook down to the ice. Hamhuis tries to shake his right hand free to throw another punch while the two are down, but the linesmen quickly jump in before he is able to do so. Other Penalties: Seabrook received an instigator and misconduct.

Parros has his right arm cocked while they are down on the ice, but the linesmen are there to end the fight.

They spin around and each throw a short right. Neil switches hands and throws a left, prompting Hordichuk to respond with a right as they go toe-to-toe with punches. Hordichuk switches fists and connects with a left just before Neil gets in a short right and they fall to the ice with the linesmen skating on in shortly after. Other Penalties: Vernon Fiddler received a goaltender interference.

Spacek has his stick between Nichol's legs and gives Nichol some help crashing into Buffalo's goal post. Nichol gets up, immediately drops his gloves and from the side he drills Spacek with a right. Spacek goes straight to the ice with Nichol bent over him. Martin Biron is the first to respond and with gear on he gives Nichol a few pokes to the back of the head before trying to peel off Nichol as a big crowd gathers. Michael Leighton skates to center ice, but is warned before crossing the line. Nothing else develops as the linesmen and refs break it up. Spacek laid on the ice for a minute or so before returning to the Sabres' bench. Other Penalties: Nichol received an instigator, misconduct and game misconduct; Spacek an interference. Jaroslav Spacek did not receive a fighting major.

Fritsche drops his mitts as well and Hartnell quickly tries to get Fritsche's helmet off, but fails. Hartnell then throws three rights until he switches to the left and throws two wild ones. Fritsche gets in a right during the flurry, but goes down to a knee, allowing Hartnell to connect with an overhand right to the back of his helmet. Fritsche gets back to his feet and they crash into the boards before falling to the ice with the linesmen quickly jumping in to break things up. Other Penalties: Hartnell received an instigator, instigating with a shield (minor) and misconduct.

Hordichuk gets his right hand going and the two go toe-to-toe with punches with Laraque getting the better of the exchange. Hordichuk ties Laraque up and is wrestled down to his knees. Laraque gets in another left while Hordichuk is down and the linesmen quickly move in to break things up. Other Penalties: Hordichuk received a roughing.

Hordichuk crushes Alain Nasreddine with a hit behind the net, causing Talbot to drop his gloves and immediately go after Hordichuk. Hordichuk drops his mitts as well and throws Talbot an early right. Talbot puts his head into Hordichuk's chest and lands a couple of body shots. Talbot goes down to his knees, but eventually works his way back up to his feet while Hordichuk continues to throw shots to his ribs and face. Talbot falls once again and this time the linesmen are quick to step in and end the fight.

Newbury and Brookbank get tangled up along the boards for a moment, but quickly separate. Newbury chases after Brookbank, jabbing him with his stick. Brookbank turns around and the two quickly drop the gloves. They exchange right hands to start the fight and follow that up by going back and forth with rights until Brookbank is able to get Newbury bent over and tied up. Newbury's helmet comes off and he is able to stand back up. Brookbank then throws two overhand rights and an uppercut. Newbury answers with a right and they go back and forth with right hands once again for a short moment. Newbury gets Brookbank's jersey over his eyes and then gets him turned around, throwing three rights to the back of Brookbank's head. Brookbank comes back with a right of his own, but Newbury promptly flips him down to the ice. The linesmen jump in to break things up and Newbury gives Brookbank a good fight pat as they skate away.

They grapple for a short moment and Brookbank throws three rights to the back of Kostopoulos' head. Kostopoulos throws a right to the back of Brookbank's head and they then go back and forth with rights. Brookbank connects with an overhand right that stuns Kostopoulos. Kostopoulos stays on his feet and throws two rights with one connecting just before Brookbank tries to pull Kostopoulos' helmet off. They get in-tight along the glass and the linesmen decided to intervene and end the fight.

Fiddler tries to mount Armstrong, but the linesmen are quick to get in there and break things up before anything else can happen.

The first couple from each miss before both connect with one. They pause for a moment before exchanging rights once again with a methodical pace and King landing the harder shots. They pause once more before Hordi throws a body shot, countered by and overhand right by King. Hordi then goes up top, with King returning fire and knocking Hordichuk off-balance and to the ice. The linesmen come in immediately to end it.

Tootoo then challenges Foote and drops his gloves, forcing Foote to do the same. They grab ahold of each other and Tootoo is quick to take Foote's helmet off. Foote presses Tootoo up against the boards and Tootoo throws a couple of short rights while trying to get free. Tootoo then gets Foote's jersey up and over his head, but the linesmen are right there to grab them and end the fight.

Parros gets in two straight rights and then misses with a third. Hordichuk connects with a body shot and Parros comes back with a right. Hordichuk lands two rights to the back of Parros' head while Parros shakes his elbow pad off. They go back and forth with some rights for a short moment once again until Parros is able to spin Hordichuk to the ice, ultimately ending the scrap once the linesmen decide to intervene.

Regehr drops his gloves and starts feeding Tootoo rights while Stuart continued to try and get at Tootoo. Tootoo is able to drop his gloves and turn around, throwing a right that misses while Jason Arnott moves in and grabs Stuart. Tootoo then connects with a right that sends Regehr's head banging off the boards. Regehr then falls to the ice with Tootoo getting in a left as they are going down. Tootoo cocks back his right hand, but one of the linesmen are right there to grab Tootoo and send him to the penalty box. Other Penalties: Regehr received an instigator and misconduct; Brad Stuart and Jason Arnott each received a roughing.
