This fight starts off the face-off as both guys drop the gloves and discard the buckets when the puck hits the ice. They proceed to square off at center ice. They come together at the center face-off dot and O’Brien quickly throws a right to the back of the head. Tootoo attempts to respond with a right but the much taller O’Brien has little trouble avoiding it. Tootoo then tries switching hands as he throws two lefts but both come up short. O’Brien is then able to land two rights as Tootoo gets in one. O’Brien then grabs on as Tootoo tosses two lefts. O’Brien attempts to respond with a right but it misses. While wrestling around O’Brien loses his balance and slips to a knee. Tootoo quickly cocks his left and fires off a solid left to the face of O’Brien. He follows that up with one to the top of the head as O’Brien is on the ice. O’Brien throws a right from his knees and then Tootoo quickly responds with a solid uppercut. The linesmen then get between them as O’Brien returns to his feet.
