Comments: Kostopoulos flips the puck in on net with Brookbank skating right next to him. Kostopoulos quickly drops his gloves and Brookbank follows suit with the two latching onto each other in front of the Predators' net. Brookbank throws two rights and Kostopoulos answers with a left cross while they skate into the boards. They grapple for a short moment and Brookbank throws three rights to the back of Kostopoulos' head. Kostopoulos throws a right to the back of Brookbank's head and they then go back and forth with rights. Brookbank connects with an overhand right that stuns Kostopoulos. Kostopoulos stays on his feet and throws two rights with one connecting just before Brookbank tries to pull Kostopoulos' helmet off. They get in-tight along the glass and the linesmen decided to intervene and end the fight.

This kid is really impressing me at the top level. 2 fights, and 2 wins for him already, and this one was against a bona fide NHL caliber middie.

When Vokoun gloves the puck and the whistle blows, the two are skating beside each other. The sticks and gloves go flying and they lock up. Brookbank starts out with two rights, while Kostopoulos is still trying to get an arm free. They get in tight again and hug for a bit up against the side boards. Brookbank gets a weak right to the back of Kostopoulos' helmet, and the skate along the boards where each exchange a punch. They turn around and Brookbank fires one, and Kostopoulos responds with one of his own. Kostopoulos lands a body shot and one to the side of Brookbanks head. Brookbank lands a body shot of his own. They each exchange a punch, this causes Kostopoulos to lose his balance, but doesn't fall to the ice. Kostopoulos throws two weak rights just barely landing. Brookbank lands a shot to the back of Kostopoulos' head and that causes his helmet to come loose. They wrestle up against the boards and the linesmen skate in to break it up.

Hard fight to call. Brookbank couldn't get off the wall. Both landed some shots. The linesman came in a little soon if you ask me.

Brookbank seemed to really get a good crack in on Kos' face at the end. Kos' looked like he was seeing stars for a moment.

Kosto should have done some scouting before the game ... don't fight Brookbank!!!!
