This one starts as the play is coming into the Dallas zone. Parros tries to make a pass to the front of the net, which is stopped. After the whistle Parros is over by Ott and Erskine, pushing and shoving. Erskine and Parros decide to go. Erskine comes in right away and grabs on. Parros tries a weak jersey-jab. Parros then tries a short weak left that misses. Erskine responds by throwing two rights, neither doing anything. Parros loses his balance and as he falls Erskine throws another right.

Lappy gets in some short punches and gets Morrow's helmet off. Morrow then holds on as they dance around with Lappy's helmet finally coming off. They're then in very tight with few punches thrown. After the linesmen figure out they aren't going to let go, they break it up.

Arnott gets hit by Hinote in the neutral zone and scrapes his faces along the glass, cutting him up pretty badly. Arnott goes straight after Hinote and lands a few punches to Hinote's face, nothing damaging. Then Guerin comes in and hits the back of Hinote's head. Lappy comes in to help out, but doesn't really throw anything. Other Penalties: Arnott received an instigator and game misconduct; Laperriere a roughing and game misconduct; Bill Guerin a roughing. Ian Laperriere did not receive a fighting major.

Ott is skating up behind Donovan, tapping him to go. They finally go, but the broadcast isn't focused on it. Finally they get to the fight and both players are on the ground. They stand up and they're in-tight, throwing some short shots before they quickly fall.

As Phaneuf dumps the puck over the glass, he throws his shoulder into Guerin. Their sticks and gloves get up and the gloves come off along the boards. Phaneuf is trying to throw overhand rights, but Guerin has him tied up well. They push each other up against the glass and try to get a hand free. The fight moves away from the boards, but neither guy can get loose. Phaneuf finally gets his right hand free and throws two jabs and two over the top, landing a couple. Guerin has a small cut, which may have happened during the fight or before in the pushing and shoving.

The Oilers need a spark so Winchester decides to square off with Erskine. They each swing with Erskine throwing a few more. Erskine might have landed a couple of soft shots while Winchester didn't get in much of anything. They quickly fall to the ice and it's over.

After Turco gets interfered with for the second time by Goren, Boucher just drops the gloves, throws away the helmet and starts throwing. Unfortunately Goren gets the best of him and hits him at least 4-5 times. Boucher throws a wild punch that hits nothing but air. Goren also gets Boucher's jersey up over his head, causing Boucher to swinging wildly. Other Penalties: Boucher received an instigator, unsportsmanlike conduct and misconduct.

Belanger and Erskine drop the gloves in Dallas' zone. Belanger starts with the lefts, which Erskine is ducking under. Belanger throws one over Erskine and momentum brings him to a knee which gives Erskine the opportunity to start throwing rights. He gets in a few as Belanger is trying to get up, but Belanger just wrestles Erskine over his shoulder and onto the ice. Belanger gets in a couple of rights before the linesmen break it up.

Moreau drops his gloves and grabs on to Ott who has no intention of dropping them. Erskine comes in and scrum breaks out. A group including Moreau and Ott separate. Peca has a hold of Ott as Moreau starts firing uppercuts at will. Peca wasn't impeding Ott's ability to defend himself as he barely had a hold of his waist. After Moreau is done landing uppercuts, they spin a bit and Ott misses over the top and they fall to the ice. Other Penalties: Moreau received an unsportsmanlike conduct.

The puck gets shot up and over the glass. The players glide into the corner where Avery gives Stu Barnes a little shove. Ott comes over and shoves Avery back and they drop the gloves. They get in close and wrestle to get loose. Both guys land a couple of rights. They come out of the corner with Ott throwing some rights. Avery throws a right that misses and allows Ott to connect with one. They wrestle and Ott lands one to the back of the helmet. They struggle to get loose and Avery lands about 4-5 to the back of Ott's helmet. They wrestle some more and Ott throws a huge right that missed and the linesmen come rushing in.

Lapointe levels Ott into the boards. Ott gets back up and they skate down the ice while Lapointe gives Ott a good slash to let him know that he wants to drop the gloves. Lapointe grabs him drops the gloves and Ott does when he realizes he's not going to have any choice, but the linesmen are already there. Lapointe lands a couple of uppercuts and Ott comes back with a right of his own, but he can never really get going because of the linesmen trying to break the fight up. Other Penalties: Lapointe received a slashing.

Ott comes back with a left, but gets caught again with another flurry of rights by Laperriere. They tie up and Ott struggles to get his right hand free until the linesmen come in.

The camera comes in late and shows Guerin and Smith going toe-to-toe with rights. Smith misses with a short right as they grab on and wait for the linesmen to come in and break things up. Other Penalties: Guerin received an instigator and misconduct.

They collide behind the Dallas net as the clock is winding down to end the game. Moreau pushes Ott up against the glass as a linesman runs over to quickly break things up. Moreau throws two gloved rights, shakes his glove off, and throws three more as the linesman is in between the two. Ott breaks free and lands a quick right as Moreau begins to skate away. Other Penalties: Ott received a hooking.

The two drop the gloves away from the play. Davison throws a right that knocks Perrott's helmet off and the two wrestle around in tight. Perrott throws a weak right, switches hands, and throws a couple of short lefts while Davison returns fire with some short rights. They continue to struggle to get loose as Perrott throws four rights while Davison throws one of his own. Davison then throws an overhand right that knocks both players off-balance and to the ice.

Montador checks Guerin against the boards after Guerin keeps the puck deep in Florida's zone. Guerin turns around and they drop the gloves and grab on. They get in tight and have a good grip on each other. Both attempt to throw a punch or two, but the punches aren't going far. Guerin manages to get a couple of short punches in. Montador tries to throw a punch that winds up on Guerin's back, so Montador takes off Guerin's helmet while he's got his hand there. They trade some a few quick shots that don't seem to have much power, and then Guerin throws a big left hand that Montador ducks under. They're still in tight and they hold on until the linesmen come in.

Behind the play, the two drop the gloves and square off. They tie up as Ott tries to throw a couple of locked-out rights as they are up against the boards below the benches. Tucker starts throwing numerous rights at Ott who returns fire with three rights of his own during the exchange. Tucker continues throwing rights as Ott tries to duck away from the punches. Ott then switches hands and starts throwing a number of lefts at Tucker who responds with a few short rights. Ott switches back to his right hand and connects with two good shots that stun Tucker. They get in close and each throw a couple of punches to the back of each other's head. They wrestle around until Tucker throws three overhand rights and tries to rip Ott's helmet off before the linesmen come in.

Perrott gets in another quick right as the linesmen come in.

They drop the gloves and tie up as Ott lands a quick right. They both struggle to get loose before Ott lands a right that puts Johnson to his knees. Ott then throws 6-7 rights as Johnson struggles to get back up, never really regaining his balance. Johnson falls to his knees again as Ott throws another right before the linesmen come in.

They wrestle around in tight before Perrott rips Walker's helmet off and throws a left that is blocked by Walker. Both players try to throw a few short punches inside with nothing landing. Perrott switches hands and throws 5-6 rabbit punches to the back of Walker's head before Walker throws an overhand right. Perrott switches hands and throws a flurry of lefts before Walker throws three punches to the back of Perrott's helmet. Perrott throws a short right before he loses his balance and falls to his knees. The linesmen come in shortly after.

Morrow lands a few more short rights that hit helmet while they are down on the ice.

Konopka goes down to a knee, gets back up and tries to go after Guerin but the linesmen are already in between the two. There's a quick scrum behind the net and these two break away after some gloved punches and facewashes. Gauthier gets off a quick right and Morrow returns fire with a couple of his own. Morrow then throws an over the top right and attempts an uppercut when Gauthier pops him with a right, sending Morrow to the ice with Gauthier on top.

Hartnell re-adjusts his position and then throws another two rights, connecting with both again. Hartnell's second shot is another big one that sends Robidas down and Hartnell with him.

Philippe Boucher and Sean Avery push and shove as these two come barrelling in to the scrum. Perrott pushes Parros along the boards and gets a glove up in his face before they drop the gloves. They wrestle around before Perrott lands about five short rights to the side of Parros' head. Perrott throws two more rights before losing his balance and going down to his knees for a short moment. Perrott returns to his feet and lands a quick uppercut that snaps Parros' head back. They grapple some more as both players miss with a couple of punches before Parros lands six rights to the back of Perrott's head. Perrott lands two rights and a left to the back of Parros's head as the two continue to trade rabbit punches until they tire out and let the linesmen come in.

O'Donnell lands two rights and Stevenson throws a right hook before losing his balance and falling to the ice. O'Donnell throws another right while Stevenson is falling.

Cooke pushes Daley against the glass as Daley gets his right arm free and lands four short rights to the back of Cooke's head before the linesmen come in.

Daley throws a right and a left and the two skate further down ice. Ruutu lands a left jab and six consecutive rights to the back and side of Daley's head as Daley throws two rights in defense. Daley misses with a left and Ruutu connects with a right before the two go back and forth with locked-out rights. The two yap for a little and then the linsemen come in and end the scrap. Other Penalties: Daley received an instigator and misconduct; Alex Burrows a slashing and misconduct.

Parros is then able to get his right arm free and throws nine rights to the back of Perrott's helmet while the two spin around and Perrott fights to keep his balance. After the flurry, Parros connects with an uppercut just before Perrott throws two wild rights and then falls to the ice. Parros stands over Perrott with his right arm cocked until the linesmen come in.

Stevenson returns to his feet and connects with a left that knocks Moen off-balance. They then each throw an overhand right before Stevenson falls to the ice and the linesmen intervene.
