Comments: The puck drops and these two send their sticks and gloves flying down the ice. They square off and McGrattan grabs Janssen with his left and throws a couple of rights to start things off. They're each holding on with the left, trying to shake their opponent off-balance while throwing some rights. McGrattan uses his reach to lock out Janssen, and Janssen is ducking away from McGrattan's punches as he attempts to get inside for each punch. They go back and forth, with a couple connecting until McGrattan lands a handful of consecutive rights to the back of Janssen's head. Janssen is able to respond with a couple of rights of his own and then a hard shot after McGrattan's lock loosens. They continue exchanging rights, with the time between each punch extended. Janssen is bouncing in his skates trying to wave off the linesmen, but they break up the fight after a pause in punching. McGrattan skates off bleeding from a cut under his left eye.

Comments: Behind the play the two drop the gloves and square off just inside of the blue line. Montador grabs ahold of Janssen and throws two lefts while Janssen throws two rights. Montador shakes off his elbow pad and throws a right cross just as Janssen lands a right that stuns him. Janssen then starts firing away with the right hand at a bent over Montador. Montador fights to keep his balance and move away from the punches, but he eventually falls to his knees while Janssen is still throwing. The linesmen quickly come in and grab the two right after.

Comments: Right off of the faceoff, the two fling the gloves and sticks aside, squaring off in the middle of the New Jersey zone. They grab ahold of each other and Asham starts things off with a series of jersey-jabs mixed in with two long rights. Janssen returns fire with a right and they go back and forth with the right hand, each landing one or two. Asham throws two rights, one of them knocking Janssen's helmet off just before Janssen fires away with a right and shakes off his elbow pad. They exchange a few jersey-jabs and rights until they nearly lose their balance. The linesmen start to come in, but are quickly waved off by Janssen. They spend the rest of the fight going back and forth with rights, jabs, and uppercuts: Janssen getting the better of the exchange. Asham gets turned around and that signals that it's time for the linesmen to move in and end the scrap.

Comments: Janssen nails Juraj Kolnik with a hit along the boards and Montador goes right after him. They drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other with Janssen throwing three rights, connecting with two of them to begin the fight. Montador responds with a quick right, but Janssen is right there to answer with two of his own. Janssen throws another right just before shaking his elbow pad off, but Montador falls to the ice before any more damage can be done. The linesmen move in and the two are then separated. Other Penalties: Montador received an instigator and misconduct; Janssen a charging.

Comments: Janssen knocks Orr to the ice with a hit along the boards, causing Orr to get up and go right after Janssen and the two drop the gloves. They grapple, each trying to get free and land a shot until Orr starts things off with a few short rights. Janssen comes back with a right just as Orr opens up and they go back and forth with the right hand. They tie up once again until both create some distance and go toe-to-toe with punches: Janssen goes with the right, Orr switches hands and tries the left. Orr lands three straight lefts just before Janssen returns fire with a right and the two go back and forth with rights once again. Janssen throws a mix of a couple rights and uppercuts with Orr getting in a left, but the linesmen grab the two while they are still going, ending the fight.

Comments: Right off of the faceoff the two get tied up and Janssen shoves McGrattan. They then drop the gloves and quickly grab ahold of each other with McGrattan throwing a mix of nine straight rights and uppercuts while Janssen tries to get set up. Janssen throws a right that hits McGrattan's arm while McGrattan takes Janssen's helmet off. McGrattan throws ten unanswered rights and uppercuts before Janssen shakes his elbow pad off and finally throws a right in response. They exchange rights and McGrattan goes back to throwing with the right hand, connecting with two more right before Janssen lands a right. They exchange locked-out rights and Janssen switches hands, throwing two lefts. McGrattan comes back with a right cross and the two go back and forth with punches: McGrattan with rights, Janssen sticking with lefts, until the two get tied up and the linesmen move in to end the fight.

Comments: Janssen waits for Belak at the red line and the two grab each other, dropping the gloves shortly after. Janssen is the first to strike, throwing six rights and three uppercuts with half of them landing while Belak tries to get set up. Janssen throws two more rights and an uppercut with Belak responding in the form of a body shot and a jersey-jab. Janssen throws six straight rights until Belak connects with a left and they exchange rights. Belak throws a left and waits while Janssen tries to get his right arm out from underneath his jersey. Janssen shakes off his elbow pad and Belak throws another jersey-jab just before they exchange lefts. Janssen throws another left and his jersey comes off while he is throwing three more. Belak connects with a long right and they exchange lefts until the linesmen move in and break things up.

Comments: Right off of the faceoff the two drop the gloves and square off at the blueline. They grab ahold of each other and wrestle around for a bit until Murray starts things off with a right. Janssen responds with a right of his own and they exchange a couple of more after that. Janssen shakes off his elbow pad and proceeds to throw five straight rights to the back and side of Murray's head while Murray is only able to counter with a wild right during the exchange. Murray starts to come back with a right cross followed by two overhand lefts. Murray lands another left and they go back and forth with punches for a short while. Janssen makes it a point to wave the linesmen away and connects with four rights to the back of Murray's head. Janssen then pushes Murray to the ice and starts to skate away just as the linesmen start to come in.

Comments: Orr skates over to Janssen and they get tangled up leading to them dropping the gloves. They grab ahold of one another and glide out to center ice. Orr throws six straight rights to start things off with a few of them connecting. Janssen comes back with a right and Orr returns fire with another flurry that includes a few rights, some body shots, and an uppercut while Janssen is trying to shake his elbow pad off and unwind the right sleeve of his jersey. Janssen throws another right in response and once again it's Orr going on the offensive, throwing five more rights and shaking his elbow pad off during the series. The two then go back and forth with rights for a while. Janssen misses with a right and that allows Orr to connect with a straight left that sends Janssen straight to the ice. Janssen drags Orr down with him and the linesmen are quick to jump on top of them and break things up. Other Penalties: Rafalski received a delay of game penalty.

Comments: Cote and Janssen find each other near the side boards and drop the gloves. They skate out to center ice and square off. Cote grabs ahold of Janssen and connects with a left to the side of Janssen's helmet. They tie each other up and Cote throws a short left while Janssen shakes off his elbow pad. They then throw simultaneous punches: a right from Janssen connects flush, causing Cote's left to veer off to the side. Janssen throws an overhand right and they start going toe-to-toe with punches: Janssen staying with the right and Cote choosing the left. Cote switches hands and throws a right. Janssen throws two more rights just before Cote goes back to the left and they start going toe-to-toe once again. They stop throwing for a moment and Cote throws a right. Cote switches hands for the second time and they go toe-to-toe for the third time. Janssen throws a left that comes up short and they grapple for a moment. Janssen gets his right free and throws three rights with the last one connecting on a bent over Cote who is struggling to get his arm out of his jersey. The linesmen then quickly grab them and break things up.
