Peters gives Norton a jab with his stick while the two are skating into the Sabres' zone, causing Norton to turn around and immediately drop his gloves. Peters follows suit and they grab ahold of each other with Norton throwing an early right. Norton follows with with a pair of body shots just before Peters attempts two rights. Peters throws two more rights and Norton four more shots before Norton loses his balance and starts to fall to the ice. While he is falling, Peters gets Norton in a headlock and starts throwing short rights. Peters gets in two more while Norton is down on the ice and the linesmen are quick to rush in.

Behind the play, the two drop the gloves and grab onto each other at center ice. Orr starts things off with a few jersey-jabs and two rights to the side of Peters' helmet. Peters responds with two hard rights while Orr throws two short rights that miss their mark. Orr throws another right and Peters starts firing away with a flurry of rights that Orr tries attempts to duck away from. Peters connects with an uppercut inside and the two then exchange rights until Peters is able to wrestle Orr down to the ice. The linesmen quickly jump in and end the fight shortly after.

Behind the play they two drop the gloves and square off near the blueline, shadow boxing for a good while. Belak finally grabs ahold of Peters and throws a right and four lefts after doing so. Belak throws a series of jersey-jabs mixed in with rights and an uppercut while Peters is turned around. Peters returns fire with a right and Belak continues to throw jersey-jabs and the occasional right hand. The same exact exchange happens once more until the two start going back and forth with rights. They continue to exchange a mix of punches at a slow pace until Peters gets Belak up against the boards and throws two quick rights just before the linesmen grab the two.

Grant and Brian Campbell collide along the side boards, sending each other falling to the ice. Grant gets back up to his feet, spots Peters, and the two drop the gloves. They square off for a short while and grab onto each other, each waiting for an opportunity to strike. Peters opens up and throws three quick rights, causing Grant to return fire with a pair of lefts. Peters throws two more rights and Grant throws five lefts just before landing an uppercut inside. They exchange lefts and Grant gets in a right just as the two are falling to the ice. The linesmen jump on top of the two and end the scrap.

Right after the faceoff the two spot each other and decide to drop the gloves. They grab ahold of each other and McGrattan starts things off with a series of seven jersey-jabs. Peters returns fire with a right and McGrattan throws two more jersey-jabs before coming over the top with a right. They go back and forth with rights and McGrattan makes sure to add in a few jersey-jabs during the exchange. McGrattan throws two more rights that hit Peters' helmet and Peters comes back with one of his own, but the linesmen are right there to skate on in and break things up.

The two drop the gloves and square off in Tampa's zone. Roy throws two quick rights just as he is grabbing ahold of Peters, and Peters comes back with two rights of his own. Roy switches hands and starts pumping away with the left while Peters ducks down and throws two overhand rights. They lose their balance and fall to the ice with Peters throwing two rights on the way down. The linesmen rush in and break it up.

Right off of the faceoff, the two drop the gloves and square off in front of the Sabres' bench. They grab ahold of each other and Belak misses with a left jab, allowing Peters to throw two rights. Belak returns fire with eight unanswered punches, a mix of overhand rights, jersey-jabs, and uppercuts. Peters finally responds with a right and they go back and forth with rights until Belak takes control once again, connecting with a few rights to the back of Peters' head. Peters goes with the right once again and they spin around until Peters loses his balance and starts to fall to the ice. Belak connects with a right to Peters' chest while he is falling and the linesmen quickly intervene.

Alberts knocks Jiri Novotny to the ice with a hard open-ice hit, prompting Peters to skate over and grab Alberts. The two exchange words and then quickly drop the gloves before grabbing ahold of one another. Peters connects with three rights to the side of Alberts' helmet to start things off. Alberts returns fire with a right, but Peters continues to swing away with the right, throwing two right crosses and two uppercuts. Alberts attempts a locked-out right and Peters throws three more rights while they skate into the boards. Peters gets Alberts' helmet off and Alberts responds with a short right followed by a left hook that hits the top of Peters' forehead. Alberts then misses with a right cross, but loses his balance and falls to the ice. Peters cocks back his right hand, but the linesmen are right there to grab them and end the fight.

They go back and forth with rights as they come up next to the benches. Shelley throws a few more jersey-jabs while Peters ducks down. Shelley throws a right that knocks him off-balance, allowing Peters to throw two rights. They each get in a short right and then fall to the ice with Peters throwing a right as they go down. The linesmen then quickly jump on top of them and break things up.

They grab ahold of each other and Peters starts things off with a right that is blocked followed by another right that misses over the top. Peters then connects with three straight right crosses and Stortini responds with two short rights during the flurry. Peters then gets Stortini turned to the side and throws five straight rights to the back of his head. Stortini returns fire with three rights to the back of Peters' head. Peters gets in two uppercuts and Stortini throws a right that hits Peters' back just before they get in-close. Peters throws a right to the side of Stortini's head and Stortini goes ahead and locks Peters up. Peters switches hands and is able to get his left free, proceeding to land five consecutive lefts to the back of Stortini's head. Stortini then wrestles Peters down to the ice and the linesmen skate on in to break things up.

Fedoruk and Peters find each other behind the play and have a little discussion before deciding to drop the gloves. They grab ahold of each other and grapple for a short moment until Fedoruk attempts a locked-out right. Peters answers with two rights to the side of Fedoruk's helmet. Fedoruk gets Peters in a semi-headlock and Peters takes advantage of the situation, connecting with a body shot. They then wrestle around, each attempting a few short shots during the struggle. Peters is able to throw a straight right and Fedoruk responds with a left. Peters is able to get Fedoruk's helmet partially off and then lands five straight rights to the side of his head. Peters tries to throw Fedoruk to the ice, but Fedoruk is able to stay on his feet and throws a right followed by a left hook that misses. They then decide to just hold on until the linesmen are ready to come in and end the fight.

The two goalies decide to go at it among the rest of the chaos, each shedding their gloves, blockers, and masks and meeting at center ice. They grab ahold of each other and Emery throws five straight rights while Biron is trying to move away from the punches and eventually falls to the ice. Emery pins Biron on the ice and then eventually lets him up only to get tripped to the ice himself by Biron. Emery gets back to his feet and the two skate away from each other. Peters spots Emery over near the side boards afterwards and skates towards him with a mean look on his face. Peters grabs Emery and throws a right to start things off. One of the linesmen tries to grab Peters, but quickly decides to let them continue. Peters throws another right and Emery attempts a short right of his own. Peters connects with three straight rights to the side of Emery's head and Emery again just throws a weak right that comes up short. They exchange rights and Peters pushes Emery towards the side boards while Emery is smiling and laughing. Peters connects with another right, but the linesmen and one of the referees are right there to break things up. Other Penalties: Peters received an instigator, roughing and game misconduct.

Right off of the faceoff Brashear and Peters exchange words with Peters throwing one of his gloves aside. Brashear pauses for a moment and then drop his gloves as well. They square off in front of the Sabres' net and grab ahold of each other. Brashear starts things off with a flurry of four lefts. Peters loses his balance and falls to the ice, but is quick to get back up to his feet. Peters comes back with two rights, but loses his balance once again and goes down to his knees, bringing Brashear down with him. They get back up and Brashear throws three lefts at the back of Peters' head. Peters returns fire with three rights while Brashear is able to mix in two lefts in between the shots. Brashear pulls Peters down to the ice and then throws five lefts to the back of Peters' head when he gets back up. Peters throws a left and Brashear answers with a flurry of seven straight lefts of his own. Peters throws another left and Brashear then connects with one final left that knocks Peters to the ice. Brashear falls on top of Peters and the linesmen are right there to grab them and break things up. Other Penalties: Peters received an unsportsmanlike conduct.
