Things changed pretty quickly
from draw to chase-sequence...
once Mair lost his helmet.
and Dowell realized who he was fighting.

Note to self...scampering away, is rarely an intimidating tactic.

I watched this game right up until Brodeur's injury. The Blackhawks were flat as they have been this season. John Scott is a liability on the blueline so Dowell is doing much of the fighting. Mair is a gamer.

Mair early with a nice come back from Dowell.
Someone has got to tell Mair that he shouldn't attempt to run away like that when he's in trouble...".he no look too good !"
Win Dowell

Late note: Laughing with "Behn Wilson"

Pretty good show by both man.
I am surprised when i am like only one who gives a DRAW for this one.
This is DRAW because Dowell missed mostly his shots and Mair had better accurate of punches.

lol @ Behn
the "chase-sequence" and "scampering away" you refer to is simply a quick shuffle by mair to find his feet, sometimes i like your posts but most of the time they're just ridiculous

win Dowell, good showing by him

Dowell beats him down pretty good. Never did think much of Mair.

Dowell clearly landed the better shots in the fight but Mair did ok to bad he lost his helmet early in the fight which made Dowells shots count

It's not the fact that Dowell won this fight that surprised me...it's the fact that Dowell, our resident punching bag, actually won a fight.

Great job Dowell! You're slowly making Scott more and more obsolete!

Close fight and a draw most of the way toward the end when Dowell starting heaving and looking like Mair tried to skate away.

Surprised they didn't sit there and slap each other in the face... That would have been more interesting.
