Micheal Haley vs Adam Mair

Mair suckers Haley with a quick left off of the top,
so Haley returns the favour as the fight gets an unexpected restart.
Haley all day.

I'm no fan of Haley but he got in a good one on Mair. They were yapping at each other later in the game, won by the Devils in OT.

Haley with the win, and points off for mair for swinging when they are both on the ice with the linesman looking to separate the combatants.

I have to admit, Haley has caught my eye...
How quickly he's made an impression in the league.
Haley abides by the code and gives Mair a free pass...only to be (as Behn Wilson said) suckered.
Good on Haley to give it right back.

Hmm...Gillies, Haley and Konopka, enjoy it while you can Islander fans.
Have a feeling Konopka may follow the $$ with another team as a free agent...and he deserves the increase too.

Mair actually threw something that looked like a punch when he got up half way through. Not sure it was a Haley sucker; Mair wanted more & got it...

...also, anyone find it funny that an announcer 'hasn't seen Haley fight before'? I mean, this guy is making his living calling hockey. Did he not review the NYI/Pitts game? Seriously...how does that fly under his radar? I do more prep making toast...

So let me get this straight. Linesmen begin to step in, Haley lets up when he could have killed Mair, Fight is all but over....but here comes Mair with a late cheapshot which he misses on, so Haley continues his pounding on mair. But mair is the one that whines and is disgusted with haley. Got to love it. Lets go Isles!

Haley landed a couple of good shots in this fight. I wonder if Mair is regretting his decision to get up after getting knocked down the first time because Haley caught him with a heavy shot when he got up. Haley gets the win here.

I'm likin this Micheal Haley. He's a madman out there, and throws em like he's paid by the punch. Clear Win Haley.
