Konopka wins this fight by ripping Mair's hat off and then punching him into submission. I don't give a flying fock what Mair did early, he got hammered to end the fight.

Slight edge to Konopka. This was his first game with the Lightning, and due to the baggage handlers at the Buffalo airport, he didn't have his own equipment. The man was wearing someone else's skates and pads. Expect better when he's in his own gear.

Good bruising brawl. All the hugging was the only reason I didn't rate higher, but both still got some good shots in. Mair wins, but Konopka's late rally almost won it for him.

konopka hugged mair for about a minute, all while mair was trying to get loose to throw punches. after an entire minute, when mair's tired, konopka decides that he wants to start going. refs should have broken it up after 15s. edge mair, he landed more and actually wanted to be in the fight.
