The Habs' Spacek instigated that one with the spear on Briere while his teammate Hamrlik paid for his sins by getting thrown down by Hartnell. Game four should be a wild one.

Spacek isn't a dirty player. I have a feeling Briere did something similar leading up to "the separater". Hamrlik is not a guy that fights, so at least Hartnell picked on somebody he could beat to shift the MO.

Hartnell pounds and rides Hamrlik to the ice in a thorough domination, much like the Flyers did to the Habs in this series. Spacek should have been the one receiving the beatdown but this set the tone for the Flyers in the next game and broke what was left of Montreal's will.

Briere - started it with his cheap shot on SaceChick, then goes for the from behind roundhouse hook. Then gets grabbed by Hammer and has no interest. Pure vaginal fluid...good player, big sissy. That's why Lindy was OK with letting him go a few years ago. No class, no character
Hartnell - down by three with less than 2 minutes and he thinks this is going to get them going for this game or the next? Pure blue ball frustration and he got it out. He's no fighter and he showed it with his classless takedown and slow effort to stop dry humping Hammer
SpaceChick - simply reacted to the original cheapshot and did a horrible job defending himself. More pure vaginal fluid
Hammer - I can't even cover how big of a Nancy he is losing to Hartnell like this. He was just embarrasing in this sequence

Hartnell with the beat down although it should have been spacek the spearer he went after, but richie took care of that. Should be interesting to see if spacek and gorges get street justice for they're dirty play (gorges flush elbow to giroux earlier), but it is the playoffs so unless a blowout i think whats done is done. Mess with the bull and you'll get the horns...

Not a great fight, like usual playoff fights.

After all this, Pronger got penalized for interference on that? I guess Bettman is telling his refs to let the habs win this year (like the Pittsburgh Crosby's last year)

Um Stupid Billy, I watched frame at 1:42 and did not see Briere cross check Spermcheck. As far as Hamrilk, he was very brave all series pushing around Giroux, Briere, Gagne but would not look Carcillo in the eye unless two linesman were between them. Hamrlik becomes very brave in the playoffs but during the regular season he is quiet as a church mouse. And Spermcheck did the lowest class thing you do to a hockey player by spearing him in the groin. Spermcheck would have gotten hammered by Mike Richards if he did not back-up like his genitals were on fire.

hartnell is a bum. everytime he fights its either a non fighter or he grabs ahold and all of a sudden loses his balance. also if lappierre wants to run around hitting everyone he should back it up when asham comes after him.
